Molly and Philip are married for about one year and completely in love with each other. In fact, Philip is so in love with his wife that he’s trying to keep his feelings hidden so he doesn’t scare her with them. This leads to some misunderstandings that causes some trouble. Until she gets in an accident and loses part of memory which makes Philip think that he just got a second chance to make his wife fall in love with him all over again. Only this time he’s not holding back at all.
Let’s just make this clear: If you’re looking for a realistic contemporary romance you better keep walking, you’ll not finding it in this book. However… if you’re looking for a completely cliché and over the top romance, with an obsessive alpha male and that will check all your ‘romance-aholic’ boxes, than this book is definitely for you.
Rating: 4 Stars.
Characters Development: Molly was a sweet character and she stood up for herlself whn I honestly didn’t think she would, and that’s always a plus in my book. Philip was your traditional AR hero. Obsessive, alpha, sexy, sweet and loyal to a fault. In other words, impossible not to love him.

Today is my 10th year anniversary of being together with my husband.
Prior to our tonight's celebration, I have decided to read a bit of Alexa Riley's books and feed my addiction to them... You know these books. They are the ones in which the two lovers live in their one love bubble, nobody and nothing affect them and they are in love forever.
Mr and Mrs is an excellent book Riley style. There is not any insta-love thing between the two main characters like other books by the same writes. Mr and Mrs are already married and in love, but there is a huge misunderstanding and a memory loss and the couple needs to rediscover their love and lust.
The storyline is strong and there is enough drama in the book to provide you the feeling of an old fashioned Harlequin pocket book.

Quick sexy read. Not too much brain cells required while reading this one but it is what it is. LOL. OTT, alpha male who is quite dominating and totally smitten and in love with his woman.
It costs about a buck for the kindle book. Worth it in my opinion but it is a short read.

I really enjoyed reading this short, sweet, and sexy story… just what i needed between books ! As expected, Alexa Riley did it again although in my opinion this one was a little toned down than her usual. It also started off a bit different because Phillip and Molly are already married. Don't get me wrong it's still full of hotness and all trademark Alexa Riley material.
Molly and Phillip's story was great and I liked how crazy these two were for each other. I immediately fell in love with Phillip. He’s the typical sexy alpha male I've grown to love. Phillip is caring, protective, possessive and totally obsessed with his wife. He’s a man on a mission and determined to get back the love of his life, Molly.
I loved how this book ended and as always AR delivered a swoon worthy HEA. Looking forward to the next book in the series!

This felt a little different from my usual AR.
I disliked the way the misunderstanding came up. The book stayed true to the whole no cheating thing and it still bugged me.
Also, it was something new seeing a couple already formed.
I like my AR alphas in full form from the start. Why wait for a difficulty to arise in order to realize you need to act on your feelings?
That aside, you get the usual smuttiness and HEA.
This felt a little different from my usual AR.

I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect from this book since the couple in question Phillip and Molly are already married when the book opens.
You see I like the initial meeting, the blossoming of the romance that leads to the HEA so what would I do here?
As it turns out I didn’t need to worry I was instantly hooked.
No, there’s nothing new here but I enjoyed it anyway.
Phillip fell instantly in love with Molly the first time they met, he’s ten years older and totally obsessed and people who’ve known him a while can’t believe the change in him and Molly loves him back and it was good, so good for a while.
But now there’s a distance between them, Phillip is working really long hours and his new gorgeous secretary is rude and dismissive to Molly and she fears the worst.
So we know he’s not cheating because there’s no cheating in an Alexa Riley book but Molly doesn’t know that, I tried to tell her but she just wasn’t listening.
You know where this book is going but it’s fun getting there and that’s the point.

What a great start for this series. I'm not into angsty books. I like easy, lighthearted books but Alexa Riley know how to make it work. I've read a lot of their books but this one was a little angsty than the rest. I loved it maybe because I know the book is completely safe so I don't have anything to worry about.
The story was about Phillip, 32 and Molly, 22.
Molly's been married to Phillip for a year now. They've been trying to get pregnant but he's busy lately, it made her feel lonely and not good enough for him.
Phillip's a great man. He worked hard to build his own company. He's so obsessively in love with his wife and he's afraid it will scare her.
Molly went to his office to talk to him but then, when she walked in, she thought the wrong thing. It was a misunderstanding but she didn't let him explain. She ran away and just disappeared while Phillip didn't know why she left.
He looked for her. He even had a team to find her but there's no trace of her. When she decided to go back, she got hurt. She woke up at the hospital and Phillip was there, holding her hand. She can't remember anything. Just that she's pregnant. She also knew he's her husband because of the dream she had.
Phillip never left her side but there's the question lingering on his mind why she left him. He'd held himself back before, afraid of scaring her but after finding her again, he'll just take what's his. No holding back anymore.
The confrontation happened and everything became cleare. He's a faithful man and he never treated her like she was below him or anyone else. He's cold and hard to everyone but never to Molly. And there's a very beautiful epilogue. I loved it!

3.5-4 'My love' Stars!
It's always good to have something sweet, hot and short when you are between books. That's why normally I go directly towards Alexa Riley's books. I was pretty excited because in this case AR has started a new series on old romances!
Mr and Mrs is the first installment in this new series called An Alexa Riley Promise and it tells the story of Phillip and Molly Tanner, a married couple who love each other so much and after a year of being married they start to draw apart. Everything changes when Molly has an accident that leaves her with amnesia and Phillip is decided to get his wife back!
I can’t help it. I’m obsessively in love with her. It can’t be healthy, but I gave that fight up a long time ago. It is what it is. There’s no fighting this need I have for her.
Nothing and no one is standing in my way. I don’t care what I have to do or who I have to kill. My wife is mine. And I’m bringing her home, whether she wants to come or not.
I enjoyed this story because it's a little bit different from other books by Alexa Riley. It kind of reminds me of my Harlequin period lol Obviously, besides that, it still follows the same path as the other shorties by AR: with insta-love, smutty and cheesy. What I have found with Mr and Mrs is I did not connect as much with the characters and the story. I don't know why but this is not on my top faves by this author. Still, it was a good fix before starting a new book!

This is only my second read by Alexa Riley and I enjoyed it. It was a quick, sweet and sexy read, so if you like those types of books then you may enjoy this.
Phillip and Molly have been married just over a year. They are both head over heels in love with one another. Phillip is secretly trying to get things in place at work so that he can hand over the reigns and let someone else handle the day-to-day stuff so that he can spend more time with his wife.
This of course has him working long hours and getting home late. This mixed with the fact that every time Molly calls his office, the new secretary never lets her talk to her husband, leaves Molly wondering if there's something else going on. She's seen it with her father, so she knows it can happen. When Molly sees something at Phillip's office during an unexpected surprise visit, she fears her worst nightmare has come true.
This of course leads to a huge misunderstanding and her running away. Just when Phillip finds her an accident happens causing her to loose her memory. Can he make her fall in love with him again and win back her trust?
I loved how much Phillip loved Molly. It was just pouring off the pages. I was left rooting for this alpha, hoping they both got their HEA that they so wanted. This is the first in Alexa Riley's new Promises series and I'm looking forward to reading more.

This story was just ok for me. I could not love a hero that practically ignored his wife for a year other than to have sex. Because he was worried he would overwhelm her?! Seriously? While I did not agree with the heroine's decision to run and stay away for so long, I also thought the hero was no prize. I get that he got all crazy OTT alpha AFTER he got her back, but he had lost me by then.

This novella(?) satisfied my need for some quick, fun and quirky and smutty read. Exactly the break I needed from the books I'm currently reading. I felt all the feels in the world while reading this. Thumbs up to the two epilogues by the way. The second one's my favourite. Omfg, it was hilarious.

Mr & Mrs es la tipica lectura de Alexa Riley aunque sin tantas escenas hot.
Personalmente pienso que podria haber sido mejor si hubiera tenido un par de paginas menos, se me hizo un poco lenta y aburrida.

I can't honestly say that this was my favorite Alexa Riley read but I can tell this new series is going to be something that I really enjoy. The storylines and tropes aren't unique but when you add a modern day spin on it it gives it a unique feel... Add in AR's cheesiness and I'm all in!
Phillip and Molly have a lot of obstacles to overcome in this one, and they actually spend quite a bit of time apart before they find their way back to each other, and this wouldn't normally be something I would enjoy but it was necessary given the circumstances. A lot of readers might hate Molly for doing what she did but if I were in her situation and I had walked in on what she did I would have took off too. Sometimes women just need time to get their head on straight and kudos to her for striking out on her own.
Luckily, Phillip is one of AR's OTT possessive heroes that we know will do anything it takes for his woman and he did not give up on her. And even after all the time they spent apart, as soon as she was back in his arms he did everything he could do to keep her there.
Of course we have a super cute epilogue to go with the super sweet read and I couldn't be happier with the way things ended. Definitely a must read for Alexa Riley fans and if you like a little bit of angst to go along with your cheese then this one's perfect!

Finally got to read this one! Wow just wow. Was he ever OTT possessive. Seriously loved every crazy minute of it. Really great little story again it's always too short but still a great read. She just loved him too and that just made it all the sweeter. It was just perfect with the two kids boy first then girl just like he ordered and she wanted. I thought it was a little too cheesy to be smut. It had a spicy old school harlequin feel to. Hot however cause they do have sex and there is the words like orgasm and f@&$ in it. So you know it's not your mamas old books!!! Maybe just a little too perfect if I had one thing to say critically about it.

3⭐️ Did this book get me out of my ‘a little life ‘ reading slump? no. Was this entertaining? yes. Alexa Riley just does it for me every time and i will not complain about that because let’s all be honest i never read her novella for good literature okay? If i wanted to have to work my brain I would have read Taylor Jenkins Reid.
