I can’t trust her, but that doesn’t mean I’m keeping my hands off her. I don’t take no for an answer, and I get things done—whatever it takes. So when our latest heist lands us the best runner from our rival club, it’s up to me to pry the words out of her mouth.
Easier said than done.
She’s a maniac on the road and a bigger freak between the sheets. With lips begging to be kissed and curves screaming to be tamed.
She thinks she can beat me, she thinks she can lie. But she better get in line, because if she doesn’t…
… I’ve got orders to put a bullet between her eyes.
Havoc is book 1 of the Los Desperados MC trilogy. Books 2 and 3, Chaos and Mayhem are available everywhere now!
Everything about this book was wrong for me. Starting with the editing. I don’t understand books with typos. Do you not edit? Do you not read the book yourself? Do you not have a test group that reads the book? I mean ass instead of as?!?! Really? MCs do NOT call themselves gangs. Strike one. MCs do not allow female members. Strike two. And I highly doubt a full big rig crash and shoot out would go unnoticed while two motorcycles driving fast caught the attention of cops. So unrealistic. Strike three. Couldn’t finish it. I read hundreds of books a month and I’ve never given this low of a review. How in the heck did it get such high reviews?! I often wonder if people get a totally different book than I downloaded.
This book was not what I was expecting. I love MC books, and I usually enjoy them a lot. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case with this book. I didn't care for Daniela at all. She was very wishy washy. She was loyal to her club then she wasn't. She claimed to be a strong independent woman then she needed a man to make her complete. Ugh..make up your mind already! I thought Julian was okay, but he wasn't the typical alpha male that most readers have come to expect with bikers.
Overall, this was just not my cup of tea. With that said, I have seen many five/four star reviews, so maybe its just me. I suggest reading it and forming your own opinion.
The most annoying character I have read in a long time. One moment she is loyal to her MC, the next she thinks they don't deserve her loyalty, one moment she loves her ex and thinks he is the greatest for saving her and the next she doesn't like him and thinks he was abusive and a jerk, one moment she is an independent woman that doesn't need anyone and that thinks that only stupid women make her decisions based on a man, the next she decides to throw everything to be with a man. She just can't make her mind! It gets boring the longer you read, you are thinking this time she will do what she said she would do, and the next moment she changed her mind yet again.
The story goes something like this:
- She is the best driver there ever was! But gets captured by an enemy gang.
- She is taken to the enemy's clubhouse and swears that she will escape the first chance she gets because she is loyal to her MC and hates the people there.
- She decides that yes, this new MC is very cool, but still tries to escape, and gets captured again.
- She has sex with her kidnaper, Julian, and starts thinking that yes, they are a great MC, maybe she should accept to be part of it.
- Her old MC tries to rescue her, and she decides that she loves them and couldn't even think why she even think about betraying them, and gets mad that they got hurt.
- The new MC starts celebrating defeating her old MC and she gets excited by their happiness and their victory and decides to celebrate with them.
- She decides to join them and goes with her kidnaper to seal the deal by having sex in an expensive hotel.
- Her ex tracks her down and tries to rescue her again, just to find out that she changed loyalties, he gets mad, attacks her, Julian fights him and kills him.
- She gets mad that Julian killed her ex and swears never to let him touch her again, that she hates him and decides that he was only using her.
- She decides, again, to join the MC, but this time while fighting Julian.
- She goes away and Julian decides that she is trying to escape and goes after her.
- They get to a beach and one they are alone, she decides that he isn't so bad, he did what he had to do and they have sex again.
- They return to find her old MC trying to rescue her again, and one of the guys tells her a plan to take her new MC down.
- She decides that WTF was she thinking, she owes everything to her old MC and she is going to help them recover their place as top MC.
- At the last moment she decides that fuck her old MC, the new one is better and betrays them again by telling her new MC how to steal from the old one.
She changed her mind every couple of pages!! it was very frustating!!! Hated it, just hated it.

Phenomenal!! Loved this story and right off, I will say that Julian Gonzales would make an awesome biker/ book boyfriend. While he sported a menacing outer exterior, he was intelligent, fast thinking and always put his club and what mattered first, true code for a true biker. Daniela was an equally strong character as the lead female driver for the Bandits but then turned traitor when she was really left with no choice. There were some great conflicts and plot twists in this story and each had surprises popping up around the corner.
Hated the heroine. She was way to wishy washy. Ugh. Hero I somewhat liked.. He was WAY to forgiving with her. She was a jerk. I wouldn't trust her as far as I could throw her.
I thought I would've liked the book at first but than she just really ruined it for me. I mean, Paul? Was she kidding me? She was an idiot and I couldn't enjoy it with her stupid indecisive tantrums. There was no cheating or club whores thank god or I'd have DNF'ed it. Also why was everyone called an Old Lady? Only wives or serious partners are Old Ladies not just any woman around.
The sex was terrible too, all they did was say "oh, Julian, YES!" Or "God Daniella, Yes!" Boring. Get creative would you.
Really it just was not for me. Others seemed to have liked it so it's definitely a case of its me not the book.
I have read enough MC books to know this one just didn't get it right. They are clubs not gangs. The book would have been half the length if the the same details weren't repeated several times. I just didn't feel this story.
