An interesting overview of the major situations in British History from 1688-1981. All primary sources, edited by the author, and chosen by him. My professor says: Arnstein is a horrible historian, but his is the best work in this area, where the is a dirth of material. A valuable resource. Read in conjunction with a book such as A Concise History of Britain by W. A. Speck
