Oh my goodness, I absolutely adored this book. I loved getting to witness Liam and Liz get a second chance at their love. Second Time's a Charm is a sweet and sexy read, and I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Also, there's a line in their that I loved SO MUCH, I had to message Kay just to tell her how perfect it was. I won't give it away, because there's no fun in that, but it takes place in the bathroom at a club. Okay, that's all I'm saying! ;)

This author really knows how to put pen to paper. This story is about Liam and Liz seeing if they can let bygones be just that. Through trials and tribulations, they do just that. Of course, there is or was Sam who was connected to them both and would have loved to see her besties reunited. Alas, fate didn't turn out that way. Because Sam recently passed away, she didn't get to see that happen. But time seemed to heal the wounds of the past. Second time's a charm is at times sweet and poignant as well as heartbreaking and painful. A gripping tale that kept me glued to this book, which I finished in one setting. An absolutely good read.

PS...I would have loved to known what was in Sam's letter to Liam...lol

No spoilers from me, but I found this book to be a sweet story about broken trust, heartbreak, and true love.
If you love second chance romances, then this is the book for you. I would definitely recommend this author’s work, and look forward to reading more of her work.

Wonderfully adorable interracial love story. Grab a glass of wine and a hot bath and settle in.

Redemption is just around the corner for the two love birds, Liam and Liz. Kay Blake knows how to reel in a reader with the lingering feelings of the past and the hope for a better second chance.

This story starts off sad and brought a few tears to my eyes, but as you read the story your tears of sorrow turn into tears of happiness.

The interracial relationship angle is one that is still real even in this day and age and its sad to know that people still hold such views.

Liz and Liam's story is one of true love and I really enjoyed reading this book and watching them overcome all their obstacles.

It's a nice quick read that you can probably get through on your lunch break.
