In my opinion, Ultimate CV is a great book and provides great tips and tricks. Also, the author explains how to build an identity and format the CV. Even the CV examples are helpful and cover a wide range of industries.
However, I wish the author explained and tackled more on the CV build and design process.
I recommend the book if you are in the process of building a CV or you want to build a CV.

Some great advice, based primarily round "target job deconstruction"; let down a bit by typos in the sample CVs.
