Great! Brooks is able to make learning about plants and trees interesting, easy, and, most of all, fun! Brooks weaves Greek and Latin words into the text to help readers understand the scientific terminology better. An advanced work section that explains the chemistry of photosynthesis and respiration is also included. I recommend it for middle school students and older.
