Beyond Obedience: For all who are called to Mastery, Ownership, slavery, surrender & service

FINALIST in the 2017 National Leather Association International writing competition.

Welcome to an entirely new school of thought: Not only are certain individuals designed at birth to be slaves, but many undergo a spiritual process that literally transforms their essence into a "Bornslave." SlaveMaster and slave 7 are two men living in alignment with this belief. Their wisdom and insights are thought-provoking, as well as worthy of daily study and contemplation. Topics are arranged alphabetically and are presented from two distinct perspectives.

"Beyond Obedience" is not written only for Masters and slaves. SlaveMaster instructs all who are authentically called to Mastery, Ownership, slavery, surrender and service to know that the universe requires obedience to its guidance and instruction.

Acknowledge your unique design, and begin to live authentically by obeying the Spirit that created you.

Don't expect an erotic book with hot SM encounters, it is about the spiritual side of BDSM. The idea is that SM is not a sexual practice but a calling. In the opinion of the authors, some people are born slaves and their purpose is to find a master who will help them realise this goal. Equally, some are called to be masters. The slave worships the master but unless the master is connected to some higher power (outside himself) it is probably going to go wrong.

The theory fits in with an ancient myth that we are all born with a mission (or the seed of potentiality) but instantly forget it when we arrive on earth but keep some underlying desires waiting to be awakened.

In the opinion of the authors, becoming a slave is a choice that comes from a place of strength and there is a lot of discussion about how to reach this place - through personal growth and SM practices.
