Maggie
Since the passing of her father Tony, Maggie found growing up very difficult.
Her mother Brenda never really came to terms with his untimely death and distanced herself and Maggie away from their family.
She once lived in a life of luxury as Tony would always provide her and Maggie with whatever they wanted.
Things started to get too much for Tony and everything eventually caught up with him.
This eventually then caught up with Brenda as she struggled to provide after being left with nothing.
She had a responsibility to look after her one and only daughter Maggie. In the end, Brenda would resent Maggie as the struggles became too much for her.
With the fair coming to town, Brenda was able to earn some much needed money.
This also provided Maggie with an unexpected opportunity, an opportunity that would completely change Maggie's life.
As Brenda worked, Maggie would walk around and she soon realised that the good people of the fair had more in common with Maggie than she first realised.
Follow Maggie on her difficult journey as this leads Maggie into new hope, love, friendship and along the way some very tough decisions.

At present, I am currently writing my latest novel called "Touched" of which will be released later this year.

Like most authors, the big time is the ultimate dream. I am by no means a professional writer and certainly no proof reader, but somebody who has a few stories to tell.
It is nice to be able to switch off and away from any negatives on a day to day basis and then drift off into my own space to write.
A writing course educated me in thinking that nothing is poor, nothing is bad. The people that reflect on such things are purely suggesting that their opinion differs to others.
Also, a writer should not write for the view of others, a writer should write for themselves and they will eventually create their own audience.

5 Stars! A Wonderful Read!
MAGGIE is a touching novel, both sad and sweet, of a young girl’s growth into adulthood. The story is told with much understanding of Maggie’s relationship with her alcoholic, depressed mother. With the help of relatives, Maggie overcomes her childhood of abuse to become a confident, caring, and determined young woman. I felt I was right there with her, experiencing her many joys and sorrows. Realistic characters and real-world situations added to my enjoyment. MAGGIE is not to be missed!

Firstly I have to apologise to the author for not reviewing this book before, I rated it then completely forgot to put up a review.
I loved this book, Maggie is such a lovely insightful character. I loved the way the author followed her life from a young girl to a woman.
I cannot wait for the next book by Mark D Radford.

A very different style to this book from previous books. Was enjoyable all the same. Mark has done well in readapting his writing. All in all a good read with some twists at the end
