AWOL is one of those stories that does not paint the MC in a good light. The club is evil. Luckily our hero, Cade, gets out, but not before Cassie gets drug into the drama too.
Cassie is young (college) and a virgin that turns into badass when she has too. Cade is a good guy in a bad situation, and a whole lot of people get killed before it's over.

Somewhat over the top at times, but kept my interest. A fast pace from beginning to end, with a kick*ss H/h. A lot of danger, and just enough spice. An overall good read!

This review is given after my second read through.
Cassie and Cade were an awesome pair. When Cassie's flighty mom sends her out to fend for herself, Cassie goes to the only place she feels safe for the night, only it's not as safe as she first thought. When her hideout becomes a killing ground, Case is her only safety out of certain death. Only Cade's not so knight in shining armor, he's bad@$$ in leather. On their way to safety and freedom, Cade confesses why he angered his club. With Cassie by his side a plan is formed to right the wrongs his club has done, and a love affair blossoms.
While I would have loved this book to be a bit longer, and more drawn out, I can't help but love it. Great afternoon read! (Sorry I read really fast :) )

I loved the characters. They came to like in a real way and the action was exciting. I love that it was a different take on the MC theme. This was a lifer looking to get out and not dragging anyone in. The only negative I think was Cassie's ideas about sex. For a virgin is was a bit unrealistic. There was never any inkling that she had explored what sex was all about but her ideas were that of a seasoned sexually active person. Aside from that, I did enjoy the book. I think that Nikki's writing improves after each new book.

Get ready for a wild ride AWOL is full of action. Case is Gorgeous, Sexy and on the run from his MC CLUB. But to me the star of the book is Cassie. She finds herself on the run with the bad boy of every girls dreams. While on the run with Cade, she discovers a whole new side of life she never knew. She become the one person Cade never knew he needed or wanted. Two Thumbs Up.

What a read. It all goes wrong and turns out well you have to read it.

It was alright. Things went a little too smoothly and a few parts were a bit ridiculous. They went from being attracted to each other and on the run to boyfriend and girlfriend who loved each other and couldn't live without one another way too quickly. Epilogue was cheap.

This is all Alpha bad boy biker romance! There is all kinds of angst. All kinds of bad boy hotness and the ending....wow! The MC is bad news and Cade is a sexy good bad boy! Read it. Promise you won't regret it!

A good quick read
First short story I've read and it was quite a roller coaster ride. A girl blindsided by someone she didn't imagine, confused, turning into a warrior princess and a tough MC member with a strong sense of right and wrong.
