Thirty Days: The Complete Series

Rate this book
THE COMPLETE THIRTY DAYS SERIES WITH ALL FOUR BOOKS IN ONE!

Set in London and Brighton, Thirty Days is a fabulously provocative romance series that gives you a very steamy love affair between a hot guy and an unsure heroine, baked goods and some rather unexpected twists and turns along the way.

Shy and unassuming, Abigail James loves to bake. She dreams of opening her own dessert café but instead she spends her days working as a data analyst and sneaking in her cakes as the company’s ‘diet assassin’ on the side.

Taylor Hudson, the enigmatic owner of Hudson International, has been captivated by Abby’s innocence and quiet charm since the day she started working for the company. However, his history with women is marred by personal circumstances and he has vowed to stay away.

A chance meeting sees Abby’s world turned upside down when, drawn in by Taylor’s chocolate brown eyes and unexpected kindness, she starts on a journey of attraction that will see her heart and soul laid bare.

While their attraction is mutual, both Abby and Taylor have their own inner demons that they need to overcome if their relationship can move forward for them to find their own happily ever after.

Due to the nature of the content this book is intended for mature audiences.

British author Bibi was born in South Africa and loves to travel. She has previously spent a year living it up on the beaches of Western Australia and her hobbies include consuming copious amounts of coffee and chocolate, building cardboard castles with her daughter and creating stories in her head.

Inspired from a young age, her love for literature started with Enid Blyton and her Secret Seven. Since then a voracious appetite for books has brought her a world full of heroes, love, murder, betrayal and the odd vampire thrown in for good cause.

Having long admired those brave enough to put pen to paper, or in this modern age of computing, keyboard to screen, she has finally started telling the sexy stories that she has been keeping locked up in her head all this time.

This set of books takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions as they follow the events in Taylor and Abby's lives, from soul crushing despair to unconditional joy. As they face threats and intimidation but also an all encompassing love that leads to some incredibly sexy scenes.
With each book we not only see the deepening bond between Abby and Taylor despite the people intent on tearing them apart but also Abby's transformation into a Strong competent woman as her dreams come to fruition.
This is the first time I have read this author and I was completely absorbed by this couple and their story and also by the unique 'thirty days' ldea.
This is a set of books you will find difficult to put down.

(September)
Taylor's attraction to Abby is instant from the moment he saw her, he knows he should keep away but soon finds that impossible even though he knows his presence in her life could put her in danger.
I love Abby's character and I was right there with her as she went from the depths of despair when she'd totally hit rock bottom and the gradual climb to becoming the woman her Nonna knew she was but had yet to find in herself.
At times I was so lost in the emotions that I didn't realise I was crying till I couldn't see the words clearly.

(November)
With the threat still lurking in the background and the trauma she has suffered Abby tries to put her life back together and move forward, but as things start to look positive for the fist time in a long time, a new danger raises its head.
Each step in this book makes you believe things are finally getting better for Abby then, bang, something else pops up to try and destroy her, lesser women would have caved by now but with the support of those that love her, what shines through is Abby's strength and determination to make her dreams a reality.

(April)
As Abby and Taylor try to maintain normality in their life, the strain is showing on both of them with the impending trial and with Richard doing his best to scare and intimidate not only them but his little sister too, Abby wonders if they'll ever be free of the threat, but when some new evidence comes to light they realise this may just be the turning point they've been desperately hoping for.
This book keeps the emotions rolling throughout, you can't help but feel the despair and fear as well as the anxiety throughout the trial but also the deep love that Abby and Taylor share.

(June)
Just how much more will Abby and Taylor have to deal with ? Quite a bit it seems, the tension in this book holds you in its grip as the drama spirals out of control leading to its dramatic and deadly climax. I think it's clear from the storyline that someone is going to have to die but who and how many ? Is it really possible for Abby and Taylor to have a future where they and bean are totally safe ? It doesn't appear as though that is meant to be !

This was a cheap buy at the end of summer as a stress-relieving/distracting kinda book. I think I got the whole series for $1 and I was looking for one last book that was an escape (not something to make me think). This book definitely met those requirements. It was a fun distraction, but not exactly quality writing. There were several grammatical errors, which part of me wondered if it was due to it being written in UK English, but either way it rubs me the wrong way. More importantly, I really struggled with the fact that the main character tries to commit suicide after her love interest dumps her. Especially since she finds out she’s pregnant beforehand. And then after she survives, everything’s better and he goes back to her. I feel like it’s glorifying suicide attempts; like if you do something drastic, your guy will have not choice but to be with you and support you. Which is never a good message for readers. Furthermore, the crazy twin brother who just wants what his brother has (I believe stating that his brother has to share everything, including girls, with him???!) was a little too dramatic. And then the crazy twin brother (who is appropriately named Richard) convinces a girl to fake being in love with his brother? And then she goes crazy and wants to kill his new lady? I mean... it’s a little cliche and overly dramatic for my taste. I found myself LOLing at times because it was a bit much. And not only the drama, but the sex scenes.... my hubby read over my shoulder at one point and was cracking up. However, it’s a good guilty pleasure book- if you’re looking for something like Fifty Shades (aka a lot of XXX but little plot), this is a good book for you. Though there’s more plot in the last book due to her pregnancy, though that whole book seemed rushed- like if there’s no XXX scenes then she’d just sleep through the day... lol. Again, not the best book ever but served its purpose!

As other re jewels have said before me, this series is certainly a roller coaster of a ride. Initially I enjoyed the thirty day concept that the book was written around however by half way through I became tired of it - I needed the action to move along faster. As a result I felt that there was a bit too much “padding”. Yes, I understand that Abby was tired because she was pregnant, but I seemed to read this a lot. There were quite a few sex scenes but these too became a bit repetitive and I started to flick over them. There are some proof reading errors which appeared to jump out at me more from the middle onwards. In all the story was okay but I’m more a “quality over quantity” kind of gal, and for my liking I would have condensed thirty days into twenty!

Thirty days complete series

What a fantastic series , from start to the end I was hooked the characters in this series where written brilliantly I was drawn in . The books feel to me a bit how some lives could be like this which is a bit scary when u finish and think back to what happens in these books, from love to feeling unstable and frightened to coming out in the end being stable and finding peace . A must read brilliantly done, well done Bibi here's to reading more of your books.

Incredible series!!

Another “new to me” author I took a chance on and I am VERY GLAD I did!! This series was/is INCREDIBLE!! Augh! I absolutely FLOVED it on every level. It drew me in from the very first and kept me there from there on. Abby and Taylor are an awesome couple. Soo dang good together. The story of their developing relationship was soo good. I could hardly stop reading long enough for a decent night’s sleep. I will tell everyone I know what a perfect love story this is AND how much I enjoyed reading it!!!

Love Taylor & Abby!!!

Excellent writing & storytelling (still a few editing issues but not enough to deter reading). I really liked the concept that each book took place in 30 days. And trust me, a lot happens!! But it's not unrealistic. The characters came alive & were believable, normal people.

I can't believe this has such a high rate. It's so boring, poorly written and full of cliches that I could barely make it past Nonna's funeral.
I wanted a light read after my last book, but instead got a non-read.

Editing/proofreading could have made this a five-star read. Worthy of four stars as is. If you can read around the sentences that sometimes make no sense because there's a word missing, etc., it was fun, sometimes tear-provoking, and angsty. A "good read."

Omg! I just loved this series I actually read each book as they were released and now I'm ecstatic that they are available in one complete series.

The author kept it flowing from one day to the next, wonderfully written with a mixture of drama, tension and not forgetting the steamy, smexy scenes..

Set through the Months of September, November, April and June..

The Thirty Days Series kept me glued to my seat in anticipation... Great continuing storyline with captivating plot and some amazing twist that were to say the least unexpected..

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this book to all fans of romance! Especially if you like a little suspense.

So far from my usual genre that I must say I wouldn't have read this is the synopsis hadn't caught my attention......And I am glad I read all 3 together......would have been unbearable to wait between books.
Abby and Taylor are such a fantastically believable couple thar you can't help but feel for them no matter what emotion is warranted......the Rollercoaster is addictive though!!!

Let me just say I'm so glad that I read this all together I couldn't wait it would have been horrible!! Abigail and Taylor's story is amazing and the authors ability to write this and lay it out like she was able to just shows her writing ability !! I know this is under erotic romance but it is somewhat tame so don't let that scare you. This story is well worth your time!!

I loved Tied To You by this author which was a dirty kinky novel that provied quite a bit of entertainment. Thirty Days, however, was seriously boring, especially the sex scenes. I just couldn't be bothered to continue reading after 60%, as I was neither interested in the heroine's nor the hero's happily ever after. DNF
