This duet follows the story of several couples in the lifestyle, personally, I was only interested in Dmitiri and Mariah's story. Sometimes I am in the mood for sugar kink which this author delivered perfectly. Nice, safe and entertaining but nothing to write home about. C

Loved it..
A book that keeps you reading till early hours is a joy. This is the second book of Pleasure Island and a continuation from Dimitri's Desire, another book I just couldn't put down. A BDSM dream series.

Great characters
The story follows 4 couples and their bdsm connection. Every couple was different but all were engaging. The plot wasn't too hard core and the series kept one interested

I liked it better than the previous one, but still too many couples coming together somewhat distracting. Also it is a bit tame for this genre.

I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an advance review copy. Upon finding out that it was a sequel, I had to read the first book first. You can read this as a stand alone but I believe you will get more pleasure out of it by reading Dimitri's Desire (Pleasure Bay on goodreads) first.
I enjoyed the first book but this one is better. The story focuses mainly on the three of the staff of Pleasure Bay (the owner, the doctor, and the chef). The chef's arc is my favorite and I am so glad the authors gave him a perfect match.
The story flows much smoother than the Fantasy Island type story of the first book. It is a pretty fasted paced book. Yes, the sex scenes are hot but as I am more for the story, I can say that even if the scenes were shorter or less steamy, the book would still be a great read.
Looking forward to a third book in the series as Gunnar, Vance, and Brody need their stories told.

Two of my favorite authors together with one sexy, steamy book! I was so excited to read it and it was everything I hoped for and more! I don't want to give you a synopsis of the book because you can read it for yourself, but I will say I was on the edge of my seat! This is a sequel but it stands alone nicely. The book is very well written with danger, suspense, adventure, romance, and quite a bit of steam and kept me turning the pages until the very end! I hope there will be another as I have become quite attached to the characters :) I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy!

Nice BDSM romance. Love on a private BDSM island resort. Danger lurking with a hurricane and a maniac. Four different couples learn to adapt to each other. Good but nothing sizzles.
