Do you love cats? :) I'm working on new series of books for kids with cats, find out more here:

Ekaterina lives in New Zealand, travels with her husband, and creates coloring books and funny picture books for kids. They have cats.
From the author: "Love of cats has inspired me to create a series of children books. Characters are based on my Scottish Fold cat Margo and her baby kittens.
Flowers, sunshine and new horizons are my inspiration.
Even a mention of travel for me is thrilling. In 2014, my husband Ed (he is an artist too!) and I packed up two small backpacks and went to live in Vietnam for 5 months. We got married on a tropical island in Thailand.
On our second trip to SE Asia, full of impressions, I have created my first coloring book.

SOOO MANY GREAT IDEAS ESPECIALLY FOR NEWBIES

I hadn't considered coloring at all until six months ago on my 73rd birthday when I received a so-called adult coloring book. The thoughts of coloring brought me joy and excitement. Working with gel pens didn't help to achieve the look I was hoping for, so thought colored pencils might help with shading. WOW, what a huge difference those pencils made!! Then, when I was looking through the long list of adult coloring books on Amazon, Ms Chernova's book showed itself among that list of coloring books for which I was VERY grateful for! Even though my pictures have turned out well, I feel my next endeavors will show much more improvement just by the application of the principles of choice of colors, ways to apply each chosen color, ways to full in background areas, and that I really didn't need to color right up to the line!! That idea was quite a shocker after spending so many years of telling my children to try their best to stay within the lines!! I'm looking forward to looking at her other ideas and READING her blog. I liked the size of this book for it made me feel each instruction was do-able, which has raised my level of confidence. Thank you!

Decent instructions

This is a great book for beginners and shows basic techniques and explains why you use them. I was a bit surprised to see her examples we're colored like a child did them. She would do wonders to include blending with a blending pencil or white.
