Join Bill and Isla as they face new challenges and discover new enemies.
Echoes of Earth is a short story prequel to Becoming Human, set on Earth.
Eliza Green tried her hand at fashion designing, massage, painting, and even ghost hunting, before finding her love of writing. She often wonders if her desire to change the ending of a particular glittery vampire story steered her in that direction (it did). After earning her degree in marketing, Eliza went on to work in everything but marketing, but swears she uses it in everyday life, or so she tells her bank manager.
Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, she lives there with her sci-fi loving, evil genius best friend. When not working on her next amazing science fiction adventure, you can find her reading, indulging in new food at an amazing restaurant or simply singing along to something with a half decent beat.
I received this book from Ms. Green in exchange for my honest and true review.
Ok, I required to say that, BUT, I would have read this book anyways! I first found Becoming Human a few months ago, and it was the first sci-fi exoplanet book. Not typically my type of book, but I loved it!
Echoes of Earth is the first prequel to this series. I'm not typically a fan of big series of books, but this prequel is must. It goes in depth of the back story of Isla and Bill Taggert the situation on Earth that has lead to finding a new Earth.
Whether you have already read any books in the Exilon 5 series, or you want to, I highly recommend Echoes of Earth, perfect to start your adventure or continue it. I'm looking forward to many more amazing works from Eliza Green.
It was fun of the author to send me an advance copy of the book on exchange for an honest review. And the book was honestly such a cool way to fill in the back story for the Exilon books. And this one is set on Earth... So u get the feelings that Bill and Isla go through before the events of the other books. Nice prequel piece.
A prequel to Green's trilogy Exilon 5 series. It was an ok read but not sure it really added anything to the original stories that couldn't have been omitted. With this prequel and the two others, it appears that the author may have abridged the original novels and created these short reads with material she left out of the larger books. They're not a bad read but not a lot of substance, just kind of fill in a few holes in the first 3 books.
I received an advanced release copy in exchange for an honest review. Having read The Exilon 5 Trilogy it was nice to backfill with a prequel that fleshes out the characters in the trilogy. I'm not normally a Sci-Fic reader, but I'm a character reader and Eliza Green really gets into character development. Having read the trilogy previously I got into it immediately, eagerly devouring the story behind the story. No spoilers here though, buy the books, read the story, get into a good author, I have!
Great little intro to Bill and Isla and how they became entangled with Deighton. I enjoyed seeing Bill happy and in love, and felt liked I knew more than he did towards the end when Isla goes missing. Deighton in this novella is still acting like a powerful friendly person, his true colors are well camouflaged as he shows Bill his memorabilia of historical atrocities. Isla is one tough cookie.
After receiving an ARC of Eliza Green’s Echoes of Earth, I couldn’t wait to get my eyes on the rest of this series. I purchased the remaining ebooks from iBooks and read the entire series in a weekend. The plot is intriguing. The characters are likeable and believable. I recommend these books to anyone who likes dystopian, sci-fi, post apoc or similar genres. I give this book 4.7/5 🌟
Boring! Sorry, I tried but this little book was soooo long and boring... I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. That was my honest review, and thanks god I didn't spend a cent in this book.
Short prequel to the Exilon 5 series. Takes place on a future troubled Earth.
Both Bill and his wife Isla work for the World Government but both are impatient to advance from their stagnant jobs. Finally both of them get the advancement they’ve been wanting but Isla gets sent to the colony world: Exilon 5 and disappears.
