This book is very dear to me as the author was my neighbor as a kid whom gifted it to me. His name was Ted and he tried to teach me saxophone and card games, and would gift my family the most delicious olive oil from his own olive farm in Italy. It's a very simple yet eloquent story, with beautiful imagery and symbolism that with only a few pages has made me think as much as books much larger. I've reread it at different points in my life, getting different, beautiful interperations each time I've read it.
