Spitball is a literary baseball magazine founded in 1981 and dedicated to poetry, short fiction, prose, art, and book reviews; all devoted to baseball.
Spitball (which I found out today somehow still manages to exist, having dedication on its side, I suppose) is a good read for the casual fan, be that of baseball or literature. Most of the pieces are rather light reading and accessible to the average Joe. The Jim Brosnan interview is the cornerstone of this issue. Steven Schmidt's "Stopping To Watch The Ballgame" is the best poem in this issue.
