Honestly just so good, I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and I feel like it will be really helpful in the future. A lot of this book addressed areas of weakness that I that have already been trying to painfully bear within discipleship or Bible studies. This has given some good insight into making your disciples think more. I will say, there is an implied “I want to learn and grow” that a student needs to have in order for a lot of this to be smooth, but discipleship has never been smooth. Looking forward to how God will use this book in my life and in the lives of my disciples and theirs!
3.5 rounded up. Excellent reference for discipleship and incredibly practical. Most will find it very dry, hence the rating, but the content is tier 1 for the practical discipleship category.
3.5 rounded up. Incredibly helpful and resourceful book regarding the topic of Christian discipling in a one-on-one and small group setting. The book is all principles and examples, so it is definitely a dry read and meant to be used more as a textbook!
Though it's an older book, it contains great information on how to make disciples in a one-on-one approach. He also addresses small groups as well. It's a good book that is worth the read.
