Somewhere deep in the Andromeda Galaxy lies a planet with a secret – a secret that will impact Earth and its inhabitants right to their very cores.
A colony of humans have made a life for themselves on the mysterious planet. A life which they are quite content with, until an Earth-sanctioned ship crash-lands on their homeland and turns their lives upside down.
But back on Earth, the new-found planet isn’t the only thing that the so-called Company (an elite group of men that run the political landscape) have to deal with. A precious resource is being transported near the planet that they are now calling Second Earth, but the resource is volatile and starts to infect whatever it touches.

Do not like writing style
Started reading when I received the book. Gave up after a few chapters. Started over last week, and pushed thru to the end. Editing is poor. Misspelled words or wrong words used. I.e. "brass tax" should have been "brass tacks" in last chapter.
