As a small-town girl turned teen mom, reality TV star, bestselling author and social media celebrity Kailyn Lowry has been through some crazy ups and downs. Now she’s sharing the inspiration that got her through it all.

From bullying, sexual assault and body image to motherhood, marriage and career challenges, Kailyn wants you to know that there’s nothing you can’t survive—with a little bit of hustle and heart.
There is no reason for this book to exist. I didn’t learn anything new about Kail. Majority of the book was a rehash of her first book. She gives a lot of self help advice but no one in their right mind would ever take advice from this woman. Lame!!!!!
Thankfully this was only a two-hour audiobook because if it were longer I probably would have DNF it. It was pretty boring and more of a self- help book than anything. I didn't learn anything new about Kailyn.
I felt like it was a summary of her last book with the only difference is now she had 2 kids to talk about. It was motivational in some areas and a good read overall.
Okay okay okay — I definitely agree with most of the reviews here; it definitely is a self care book. But I gave it five stars because I like being open minded — and learning how other people manage/handle/ express their opinion about how they took care of the situation/themselves/everything that they went through. I like learning how people are. And I always like Kailyn.
This was a good and inspirational book. It has a lot of interesting points and quotes. Really enjoyed it. This was nothing like her first. Highly recommend this. It gave me whole new perspective on kail
I enjoyed her first book, but this book was alot of repeat from the first. It also felt like more of a self-help book in a way. There was alot of "love yourself" in this one, which is great but it is a little much for my tastes. A good read if you just really like Teen Mom 2.
Just wasn’t a fan. Felt like a repeat of her first book. I just found it boring because everything she talked about she already talked about in her first book. Just adding motivation into it.
This was my first audio. I wanted something that i could easily follow for my first time. Kail is one of my favs from the Teen Mom franchise. It was an ok book. She has some good advice and it was easy to listen to.
Honestly speaking for me personally, this book fell into my lap at the perfect time in my life. When this book came into my life, I suddenly found myself recovering from years of narcissist abuse and the end of an emotional exhausting relationship. This book was so uplifting and inspiring for me while going through all the new changes in my life.
No lie, at first I was extremely hesitant to read this book because I did not love her first book: "Pride Over Pity." Much to my surprise Kailyn knocked this book out of the park! This book is uplifting and inspiring. Nothing is held back - not even the truth. On a personal level, I found myself relating to Kailyn throughout the entire book the entire time. It is very well written compared to her first book! You can tell that Kailyn has matured as an author and writer.
This is definitely a book I would love to read over again especially when I need some inspiration. I happily have a copy of this book on my coffee table - just in case I need that little reminder.
The first half was mostly flowery writing. Seemed like a self help book. With a lot of " just be who you are", "follow your heart", " being happy for you is the most important thing" type stuff. I had to force myself through it, mostly skimmed to be honest. Although I don't expect the Teen Mom authors to be amazing writers I read Kail's last book and enjoyed it. This one not so much. The second half was better, got a little bit more into her life. Idk not a one.
This book is clearly a money grab from her fans £15!!!! for a tiny book!. full of obvious advice and lacking any real substance or depth, so glad i was able to return this rubbish.
I am a huge Teen Mom fan and Kailyn is one of my favorites. She is one of the smart ones. I was always touched by her a Joes story as teen parents and I always knew she spent a lot of time finding love in all the wrong places trying to make up for her horrible childhood. She has an amazing work ethic and is an amazing mom. Her writing was youthful in this book but with so many good rules to live. She is the perfect example of living your best life. This story is from 2016 and she has been through so much more but it was a nice blast from the past to hear some of the beginning of her stories.
I thought this book was another memoir, but it was a book full of things she has learned through her lifetime and advice to help the reader if they are going through similar situations. Kailyn's advice throughout this book can definitely help people who are going through a tough time in any type of relationship they have, whether it be with family, friends, or significant others. I ended up enjoying this book a lot more than I thought I would, and I also learned some things too. If you are a fan of Kailyn, I would definitely suggest picking this book up.
It's amazing how Kail has changed from Pride Over Pity, to Hustle And Heart. Such an inspiring journey, and some wonderful words of wisdom from a girl who has been through so much! Thanks for sharing your story, and thank you for the inspiration! As a young mother myself, I can relate a lot to some of the things in this book, but you can never stop learning. Can't wait for the next
Read this as a fan of the Teen Mom franchise. I have not read anything else she's written. There was some nice insight in to her life which I enjoyed, and it was nice to kind of get a view in to what her thought process is. However, this did read more like a personal journal or a psychology homework assignment on introspection. That's not necessarily bad but I do feel her editor did her some injustice.
1/2 a star for at least being coherent (the bar is low) and brief (it’s <100 pages, so not a colossal waste of time)
This just reviewed things from her first book mixed in with a lot of passive aggressive validation of her actions along with regurgitated therapy speak in the form of advice. It read like a self help book, but no one is taking advice from her.
The only positives are that she does seem to take care of her kids.
Good book, but not what I expected. This book was lost somewhere between a memoir and self help book. Although there wasn’t much self helping going on and rather more Kail reflecting on her past and how her decisions have helped her to have hustle and heart in her life. I’m a huge teen mom fan so I enjoyed reading Kail’s inner voice and found some inspiration in her book.
I wanted to like this a lot more than I did. This book is supposed to be inspirational...but it isn't. I think I would have been happier if it was presented as more of a memoir. It was way too stream of consciousness and I couldn't catch how she was putting some of her ideas together, or why she was telling us certain experiences and how they were supposed to motivate us.
I have never watched Teen Mom so I don't have any prior knowledge of the author. That being said I didn't come into this book like you might when reading more from a "celebrity" that you may want it know going in. She touches on a lot of subjects that I experienced personally and felt she did a good job on the advice she has learned through personal experiences. Overall a decent read.
It’s short so it was a quick read, but it just felt like a summarized version of her first book (which I loved). It kind of felt like this should have been the first book, and then Pride Over Pity could have been a more in depth look at her life.
FIVE STARS!!! Read it and you’ll get it… Watching Kail grow and mature over the years has been the true glow up so it’s easy to tell this was written in her early/mid 20s, but it still has great messages and points that everyone can learn from. Loved it.
