Lexxie’s not a deviant. She just has a deviant’s imagination and a desire to entertain readers with her words. Add the two together and you get darkly erotic romances with a twist of horror, sci-fi and the paranormal.

When she’s not submerged in the worlds she creates, Lexxie’s life revolves around her family, a husband who thinks she’s insane, a indoor cat who likes to stalk shadows, two yabbies hell-bent on destroying their tank and her daughters, who both utterly captured her heart and changed her life forever.

Having no idea how old she really is, Lexxie decided to go with 27 and has been that age for quite some time now. It's the best of both worlds - old enough to act mature, young enough to be silly.

And silly she can be. Just ask her husband who frequently has to endure her bursting into song whenever the mood strikes her, feeling him up in public (one of her favorite pastimes), or rolling around in the sand with their dog - a large mutt of dubious origins who causes almost as much havoc around the neighborhood as Lexxie herself. Or squealing her way down the slide at the local park with her daughter!

Lexxie lives by two simple rules - measure your success not by how much money you have, but by how often you laugh, and always try everything at least once. As a consequence, she's laughed her way through many an eyebrow raising adventure.

Switching It On: A Love Story, is book three in the Stimulated series by Lexxie Couper. While the first two books in this series featured a Menage, this book is about a regular two partner relationship. Is it any less hot? No my friends, it is not!

The story takes place in Sydney, Australia. Michael Bailey is a sports newscaster. Although Mike considers it somewhat of a joke, he is considered one of the sexiest men on TV. All Mike cared about was his beautiful wife, Lena. That is until his wife left him.

 :

Mike and Lena had pretty much fallen in love at first sight. They had the perfect marriage. Lena had been hurt in a previous relationship but she supposedly trusted Mike. That is until their dog walker presented Lena with photos suggesting they were having an affair. Lena didn’t even give Mike the chance to defend himself. In her mind, the evidence was irrefutable. She threw him out and filed for divorce.

Now, seven months later, Mike still hasn’t signed the papers. And his station has hired a new Executive Producer, specifically his wife. This is the first time they’ve seen each other since the split. The first board meeting and electricity is sizzling. Lena keeps telling herself that she hates him, that he hurt her. But her body is telling her something else.

Can Mike find a way to get Lena to listen to him, to prove that he would never hurt her that way? I loved this one! These two together were off the charts sizzling. And Mike’s sister as a secondary character was fantastic. I loved her. This is the last of the series as far as I know but there seems to be a story there. In the short span of this book Lexxie was able to make me fall in love with the characters and not only was there plenty of hot sexy times, there was a good plot as well with a few surprises included and a perfect epilogue.

I suspect that Lexxie Couper is one of those authors that you just can’t go wrong with. I have enjoyed everything of hers that I have read so far. I have loved all three books of this series and highly recommend all three of them.

Mike and Lena have been separated for 7 months after 5 blissful and happy years of marriage. It is clear and undeniable these two are still very much in love, but moving past the hurt of betrayal on both their sides is proving to be very difficult. Mike feels he is being falsely accused of cheating, meanwhile Lena has some pretty incriminating evidence to support her claims to the contrary. What these two both don't realize, is that someone is playing them for their own personal gain.

Now when these two come together for one passionate night of reconnecting, it's almost like an explosion of love and lust. Seriously, the intensity of the connection makes it so obvious that they deeply love one another. The makeup sex is off the charts hot, but I loved that there is still some residual conflict that sexual compatibility in bedroom just can't fix.

Overall, I loved this reunion of lovers story. I had a hard time choosing sides, because I truly believed that love would prevail in the end for these two. You could tell from page one that the connection between them was still very much there, so I'm happy they were able to make things work for them in the end. On another note, OMG do I want Mike's sister RG's story. She nearly stole the show for me, because I think she is one character I can really connect with just from what I saw in this story. Lexxie is the queen of short and sexy stories, so I hope to see RG's story soon!

In book three of this series, the writer takes us on a journey about a couple on the precipice of divorce, but over something which didn't really happen. She guides the reader the through the why of it all, but taps into beautifully the consequences of what happens when you choose not to trust that one person you vowed to. Their sexual chemistry is incredible, but you can't help wondering why the main hero in the story Mike didn't fight harder in the beginning of this entire thing and figure out what he did in the end. If proclaim your innocence and are passionate about it, then first your spouse should believe you and work with you to prove it. This couple wasted a lot of time and went through too much unnecessary pain. They need to remember their professions as celebrities open the door for the crazies out there who wish to hurt them and should have begun with that. Her heroine left me disappointed and disjointed at times.

Can love and desire truly be switched off? After 5 years of marriage and a separation of over 7 months, sports reporter Mike Bailey finds himself in the same room with the woman he still loves, the woman who broke his heart, the woman who didn't trust him and the woman who is now technically his boss and is still his wife since he hasn't bothered to sign the divorce papers. Lena Wilde is prepared to face down her soon to be ex-husband but when she sees him again, she can't deny the desire she still feels or the fact that even after his betrayal she still loves him.

This is one of those books where it was hard to take sides with this couple because Mike was so very convincing in that he hadn't done anything wrong yet Lena had some pretty damn incriminating proof that he did. There was so much animosity between them, yet it was also easy to see that they still wanted one another that there was something more and so it wasn't surprising when they acted on it. Holy mother of make-up sex or angry sex or whatever you want to call it, but damn these two did not waste any time proving that while their relationship might be on the brink of disaster sexually they are more than compatible.

Between Lena's lack of trust and Mike's bag of issues their reunion is a little messy but when they really talk and when it becomes obvious that someone was bound and determined to break them apart they find their way to forgiveness. While I would have liked to see them really talk about what happened and even dig a little deeper into the issues they both have, there was no denying the chemistry or the love between them.

Lexxie Couper is the queen of short, intense and super hot stories and Switching It On is a perfect example.

Switching it On is another brilliantly written story by Lexxie Couper. There is such truth and realism to Lexxie Couper's characters and situations especially in Switching it On. Lena and Mike have much passion for each other even on the brink of divorce. Their sexual attraction and compatibility cannot be denied. Mike's determination and Lena's desire to right their marriage brings about the most intense and vivid sexual scenes. Lexxie Couper's creativity in giving Mike and Lena a second chance at their happy ever after is why we read romance.

I enjoyed this one a lot too but honestly, after REVVING IT UP I was expecting (hoping for) Eli Swanson's story...I hope it is in the works but meanwhile I loved Mike and Lena's marriage in jeopardy story. It was hot and despite it being short it didn't feel rushed and delivered on both hot sex (as I'm used to by Ms Couper) and emotional development.

Love how some of the characters from other series from this author make a cameo.
Switching It On is a story that shows you how strong a mans love can be for his wife. This is a grueling tale of deception and love that will end up winning you over.
