I love when I discover that a series that has been on my to-read list for years is available from my local library’s online audiobook subscription!
This was a sweet story - if not a little unbelievable (there’s no way a 13 year old would be allowed to buy two bus tickets to another state OR a man would be able to get a child he doesn’t have legal custody of testing for ADHD...but whatever!). But I love stories with big families like the Luchettis, and I really liked how the hero and heroine’s relationship developed slowly and realistically.

Rayne discovers that her father is still alive so she packs up and sets off to find him. She travels from Los Vegas to Illinois. Her traveling companion is five year old Tim who she found hiding on the streets and took him home to take care of him. This thirteen year old travels across the country to meet her father. Meanwhile her mom Nicole is going mad trying to find her daughter. She calls Rayne's father on the off chance he might have heard from her. However when she finds out Aaron had not become the priest he wanted to be she hangs up without asking about Rayne. Aaron flies to Vegas to find out why she called and discovers he has a daughter. They search the streets together to find their daughter. Such a good book and the story just sucked me in. I kept reading until I finished the book.

Sweet easy to read Romance.
I enjoyed reading this sappy story about 13 year-old Rayne who discovers her father is not dead so she goes on a quest to find him.
Nicole met Aaron when she was 16 and working as a stripper. When Nicole became pregnant she never told Aaron because he was destined for the priesthood. Fast forward 13 years later.
My only complaint is that my local library didn’t carry this book so I had to buy it off of Amazon!

como todas las historias de los hermanos Luchetti, esta historia es bastante llevadera.
tiene un toque de religión (cosa que, personalmente aborrezco) pero es tan poco lo que habla del tema que perfectamente puede pasar desapercibido.
personalmente me identifiqué muchísimo con la hija de los protagonistas y con como congenió enseguida con su abuela.
relaciones así no se leen muy seguido...

Aaron and Nicole found their way back to each other when their daughter ran away. The Luchetti family got bigger and louder in the blink of an eye. Great series that focuses on a single couple but we get viewpoints from myriad characters. I am loving these books. Onward to number three!

Sometimes where you think you should be just might not be it
This is another second chance romance. Aaron and Nicole both have to come together to get it right. A lot of heart and faith. Plus you still have all the family dynamics.

I'm really enjoying the Luchettis Brother series by Lori Handeland. This author has a great technique to keep the reader interested by including the first chapter of the next book in the series at the end of the previous book. Makes you want to find out more. I truly enjoy all the character in this series, especially the matriarch, Eleanor. I'm looking forward to reading the entire series.

I am fascinated by this family and the stories of each of its members. It's all very real and the different relationships each person has with God is straight on point without making these "religious" books.

A little unusual for a Harlequin. Insightful but story was a little slow. This could have been about 25 pages shorter.

Again a nice little story. These are lovely, likable characters and simple but satisfying stories. I enjoy the overlapping and layered story lines.
