Jani Kay

Jani is a voracious reader and would spend her last dollar on a book - always fascinated that for the mere price of a book, she can escape her world for a while and see through someone else's eyes.

Besides reading, her favorite 'thing' is traveling - she has traveled the world, learning about the ways people live and has come to the realization that no matter where we live, we all ultimately want the same things. Her hobby - Scrapbooking - keeps her up till way after midnight and her usual subjects are her family and her travels.

Ever since she can remember, Jani wanted to write stories about people, about their lives and loves. Relationships and Happiness - arguably the most difficult things to master in life and yet exactly what everyone ultimately desires (in her humble opinion).

She would love to hear from you, please email her at janikaybooks@gmail.com

I have one word for this book. FOSTER! Oh my God! Where have u been all my life, forster? I am in love with Foster. Imagine this: a man with a heart as big as Texas. He got into jail for something he did not commit. But yet he still committed to contribute positive into mankind. Saving 1 cat one at the time. And along the way he found the one for him. He is also so adorable clueless.

I smile so big with the HEA. I am not going to summary again the blurp of the story. I feel the plot can be thicken a bit on drama aspect. But i still very much enjoy this book.

Cute.
I liked reading it.
The cover is ... WOW!
The story is exciting, moving, funny, adorable, sexy, frustrating.
It could've been a bit longer, a bit deeper and just a bit ... more. It was too insta and a bit weird here and there .... but I liked it.

Beware of Spoilers!

Star Ratings:
Heroine (Addison): this girl needed her head examining – 2/5
Hero (Foster): 3/5
Plot: 2/5
Grovel: none
Cheating: none
HEA: yes but I think it’s pointless to have an epilogue sent only a few weeks after the ending
Triggers: none

Average score: 2/5

Best Line: “Use your superpowers.”

Worst Line: “I was used to being the best-looking guy in the room without having to break a sweat.”

Personal Review:
This story took me on a confusing ride. I am still not sure whether I liked it. Mainly because the heroine was so self-absorbed that she twisted everything the hero did/said into something bad.

Random Ramblings:
•The way he was looking for a ‘noble’ cause was sweet
•Talk about a whirlwind romance! It happened so quick…a little too quick

Foster is just being released from jail after serving five years for a crime he didn't commit. He is ready to start over with no family and trying to hide away from the press and people hounding him about the past. Fortunately for him, he is still a billionaire from old family money so he escaped to CA.
Addison has been waiting for the last five years to get revenge on Foster for the damage he did to her family. Only did he really do it? Or is she seeking revenge from the wrong person.

I enjoyed this book for the most part. It was actually very funny. I did not expect it to be a comedy, I thought it might be a suspenseful romance. However the comedic part of the book it what I enjoyed the most. Addison's character was just a series of screws up one right after another. She also seemed a little flakey to me. She started out set on getting her revenge, then she sees Foster and does a 180 and decides to jump his bones instead. I did enjoy Foster's character. He was jaded and broady but at the same time humble and ready to correct his past and make a better future for himself. Over all I enjoyed the story line.

“The man consumed my thoughts and I didn’t even like him. Okay, maybe he was growing on me, because that wasn’t entirely true since I’d gotten to know him better.”

5 wanted stars! I’m in love with Foster Cruise!

Foster is freshly out of prison, serving time for a crime he didn’t commit. And now he’s out to prove he’s not the man everyone hates. Addison and her family were destroyed by Foster and his antics and she’s ready for him to pay the price. So she uses him and seduces him but she never thought her feelings would get involved!

This book was hot and I loved everything about it! I loved Foster and I loved Addison. I loved her whole plan to seduce Foster, but when that plan backfires… oh yeah… it’s hot!! I’m a huge fan of Jani Kay and Normandie, so I knew I was going to get one hot book!! So worth the read!

Received from author - Audiobook - It was ok. A bit of instant love and a lot of cursing but it was a bit funny too. Narrated by: Jessica Almasy, Jeremy York - it was only 7 hours so it was a quick read for me. Will review on the blog.

**Update**
My Opinion:

Ok so we have this badass (supposedly) that has been in prison and has done his time and is filthy rich, like sick rich. I am ok with that. He went to jail because he was an accessory to a crime. I get it, he didn't commit it and he helps those that were robbed. Great guy, bad attitude just about ... well ... everything. So, I didn't find myself liking him too much. Wasn't my kind of bad boy but others will like him, I am sure.

Then we have Addison. Ugh Addison, I totally wanted to knock some sense into this one. Who thinks she knows everything and is going to get even with Foster for ripping her family off. Great, so we have this girl who doesn't have a clue about how the world works or even Forster for all the research she has done (none) and sets a plan into motion. I think I like the Australian sidekick the most in this whole thing. She was the only one that was likeable.

It did have some funny moments in the book. There were definitely some LOL moments. Other than that, I was not impressed with this book at all. There were some hot sex scenes in it and I was ok with that. I wasn't ok with not liking both of these characters. Plot twists were mediocre at best and the story line was the same to me. I say pick up this book if you like some dirty talk and some sex scenes. That's about all I thought of it. It was ok.

I was not impressed with the narrators either. If their objective was to get me to dislike the characters then they succeeded. I couldn't from a bond with either of them. I didn't like Addison's valley girl voice and at times it literally made me cringe.

I give this book 3 of 5 stars!

Remarkable well-written with a great story-line, strong characters, suspense, humor, and of course some hot, steamy sex. **Review of the audiobook**

STORY: 4 Stars
YORK’S PERFORMANCE: 4 Stars
ALMASY’S PERFORMANCE: 1 Star
OVERALL: 3 Stars

STORY
WANTED is a tale of how a female seeking revenge ends up falling in love with the man she thinks she knows and hates. WANTED is listed as a, “Monster Billionaire Romance”.... There is definitely a Billionaire and lots of romance, but there wasn’t a monster in sight??? WANTED is not a dark romance, it’s also not the most extraordinary or unique storyline. However, WANTED is unique, unpredictable and entertaining!! This was my first book by Alleman and Kay but won’t be my last!!!

PERFORMANCE
I listened to the Audible audiobook narrated by Jessica Almasy & Jeremy York. I am always honest in my reviews and try to use constructive criticism, but Almasy’s performance was literally painful to listen to! It was so uncomfortable to listen to that I debated over quitting this audiobook many, many times solely because of the way she “read” this book! Not only does Almasy have an unbelievably whiny, cartoon-like voice, but she is a terrible actress. Almasy evoked emotion and was obviously enthusiastic about her performance, the problem is that her emotion and enthusiasm were way way way way way way too excessive and not at all appropriate! Everything was at 10,000% to the point that she literally sounded like she was hosting a children’s pep rally. York on the other hand is not the best narrator or actor I’ve ever heard, but he does a good job and his performance was flawless.

“Foster Cruise will pay for his sins but what if the only thing he’s guilty of is stealing my heart?”

What do you get when you take one gorgeously bearded billionaire ex con, a feisty heroine bent on revenge and a grumpy, c**k* blocking cat? A fun, poignant, exuberant romance chock full of hijinks and laughter and hot steamy passion! Wanted: A Monster Billionaire Romance by Normandie Alleman and Jani Kay is sweet and funny and sexy all rolled into one amazingly delectable package.

In a nutshell, this is a story about a well-intentioned, though terribly misguided, heroine, Addison James, who ingratiates herself into Foster Cruise’s life to try to nail him for hurting her family and countless others who he had supposedly stolen from in a Ponzi-like scheme. Her gameplane? Follow the ex con to his fancy Malibu mansion, come up with a great cover story to get a foot in the door, seduce him with her feminine wiles, and gather enough evidence on the sly to throw him back behind bars where he belongs. The one thing she hadn't counted on was being swept off her feet by the sexy beast of the man…or the fact that he actually might be innocent!

Ahh the conundrum poor Addison faces. She feels she owes it to her grandfather to make this "impossibly handsome crook" pay for bilking billions of dollars from innocent investors while living like a rock star! But the more she gets to know him, the more she comes to doubt the legitimacy of her plan and she finds it impossible to resist this powerful and magnetic man who wants to do good in the world. Suddenly her single-minded mission gets sidetracked by this infuriatingly charming man who makes her question everything she once believed to be true.

Overall, I really enjoyed this story! Wanted: A Monster Billionaire Romance is in high supply of hot, steamy interludes, big belly laughs and warm gushy feels!! It is fast faced, highly entertaining and smoking hot! And omgee...Foster! I loved him. Madly. As far as heroes go, he was sex on a stick! Tall, dynamic and utterly swoony, with a Romanesque nose, dark, thick eyebrows and steel blue eyes that penetrate the soul. This guy was so sweet and hunky and honorable to the core, and he literally did not have a mean bone in his body. And Foster was a LEGEND in the bedroom! This "take charge Alpha male with a side serving of tenderness" just made me melt!

My heart really went out to this noble guy who was trying to make a better life for himself after being unjustly incarcerated for five years but was up against a brick wall because he was being treated like a pariah. I really admired his attitude. You would expect him to be angry and bitter over being wrongly convicted but instead he just wants to move on and make a positive impact on the world. He was truly a decent human being who you couldn’t help but love. And holy WOW…the way he treated the heroine! Like she was the queen of the manor! It was so endearing how much he adored her and bent over backwards to please her. Addison stirred something in him that he hadn't felt in forever and you ached for him to find happiness after all he'd been through. I fell under his spell instantly so was it any wonder that Addison was in way over her head?

Ahh Addison... Speaking of our feisty heroine, I admired her spunk but also struggled with her mightily because of her ulterior motives. On the one hand, I understood where she was coming from. I mean her ailing grandfather's life was destroyed by the supposed crimes that Foster had committed but she was so impossibly hardheaded and frustrating, stubbornly clinging to her beliefs that he was a dirty rotten criminal even when all evidence pointed to the contrary. Her thoughts at times did not match her actions. It was evident that she was falling for Foster—hard—and I got a real sense of her conflicting emotions and inner turmoil over the fact that she might be unfairly taking advantage of a good man's generosity and kindness to pursue her own hidden agenda. But she still refused to give up on her quest, despite her attack of conscience, and there were just times where I honestly wanted to smack her upside the head and tell her to get over it already! I was also a little dismayed by her lack of contrition when all her lies and deceit were finally exposed, and thought that Foster let her off the hook too easily. But hey...maybe that's just me!!

That being said, there is still a TON to enjoy about this book. The chemistry between Foster and Addison is red hot, the tone is irreverent, highly entertaining and tinged with charming emotion, and Mac the Curmudgeonly Cat is just too funny for words. So if you have a hankering for a book with a clever plot, swoony Alpha male who will make your panties melt, and an entertaining storyline, Wanted: A Monster Billionaire Romance is guaranteed to hold your heart captive!

This is the first book that Jani Kay and Normandie Alleman has written together. I have read just about everything that Jani Kay has written but Normandie Alleman is a new to me author. When I read the blurb, I got excited. I was looking forward to a sweet revenge story.

Foster Cruise has spent the last 5 years in prison in upstate New York for a crime that he claims that he did not commit. Fresh out, he relocates to sunny California in an effort to rebuild his life and to clear his name from he crime he is associated to. Fortunately for him, his wealth has been able to help his transition from prison to the real world. Materialistically, anyway. What he finds is that he desperately needs just one person in his life that understands him and believe that he didn’t commit the crimes he served time for.

Addison James’ family was a victim of the crimes that Foster Cruise was committed for. If it wasn’t for him, her family would be in a much better situation. For the past 5 years, Addison has been plotting her revenge against Foster. To make him suffer like he made her family suffer. She had a simple plan. Seduce, infiltrate and implicate. Easy enough, right? Unfortunately for her, it isn’t. She knew he was handsome but what she didn’t know what the real him. Once she starts to discover the man behind the infamous name, she might be too far gone with her heart. Can she carry out her plan for revenge if she has feelings for him?

Although I read this book fairly quickly, I felt like something was missing for me. I just couldn’t fully connect to either character. I’m not sure what held me back. I think I was expecting a little bit more on the revenge part. Their connection was immediate, which I’m fine with but it was pretty much insta-love. I didn’t really get the angst that I was expecting.

I did enjoy Ruby, Addison’s friend. She was a nice breath of fresh air. She was quirky, easy going, rebellious and you never know what that Aussie has up her sleeve.

Overall, I did enjoy this book. and would recommend it ff you are looking for a quick read with insta-love and some laughs.

This is a hard review to write!!
The idea and the plot of this book is great, but for some reason I just could not connect. I've spent a while considering whether that was just me or not, and I'm still not sure.
The main issue I think I had was Addison, I didn't connect with her at all, I didn't even like her. I could sort of understand where she was coming from in the beginning and why she was doing what she was doing. However once the story got going I understood her less and less, I found myself picking at her actions and losing respect for her because of the way she handled things. An example of which I'm going to attempt to give without giving away any spoilers. Her and Foster have a falling out, she leaves and then feels content to stay in an upscale hotel on his dime! She's mad at him when she should be the one feeling guilty. And her staying at a luxury hotel he's paying for makes her no better than what she accused him of early on in the book. That probably won't mean much to you if you've yet to read this book but those are my thoughts lol. Basically I didn't much like her as a person, I found her to be a hypocrite and actually rather cheeky and presumptuous. I'd have kicked her out on her a$$!
Now Foster I found I had a soft spot for. I liked that underneath it all he was actually quite unsure of himself and self-conscious about certain things. I liked that he was a bit bumbling at times, it was very endearing. And I suppose I kinda thought by the end that Addison didn't deserve his forgiveness, well maybe she did but he didn't make her work hard enough for it and her attempt at apologising was pretty lacking.
Overall the story is a good one but I feel it could be improved upon with a bit more excitement, it's a bit slow in places. This review is very much expressive of my personal tastes so if you've an interest in this book, don't let it put you off. Give it a go, you may love it, because I can definitely see how some people will.

I was given this ARC in exchange for my honest review from Normandie.

I can honestly say that this book is a great page turner, I couldn't put it down and when I had to because there is this thing we all have to do and sleep, I kept thinking about it and where it was going to take me to the next day.
When I first heard about this book and that the MC was a billionaire I thought it was gonna be something like the pair was gonna fall endlessly in love and so on but this isn't your typical billionaire book and I really enjoyed where Normandie and Jani took me to.

I fell in love with Foster and I have to say that he is funny and smart but what was a done deal for me with him is his determination to prove that he isn't the evil horrible criminal that he was made out to be, he wanted to be a better person than what people thought of him and even though he spent his money like he was a king, he just wanted a better life to look forward to and leave his past behind.

Enters Addison...she is a fire cracker, I loved her determination to get her answers she so badly needed to prove that she is capable of pulling something like she had planned off and to help her grandfather, she was amazing, I found her cocky banter so funny and real...like I could picture her doing her thing and laughing at it.

I love seeing these too together because you read about couples e.g money power and mostly virgins before but with these too together and MAC they are like the perfect couple, they are so funny and witty and I might add sexy as hell, their chemistry is off the charts hot, she isn't a silly virgin who is afraid and he isn't the typical meathead.
A solid 5 star for me and I'm hoping that these two brilliant author's will continue to write more books togeyther

"I knew this was a defining moment for us.
The moment that was going to break us.
Whatever us was in the first place."

Foster has spent five long years in prison for a crime he did not knowingly commit yet his ignorance made him guilty by association. Working for a man that he thought would please his father Foster didn't pay enough attention to his job to see he was being used. Now infamous as part as a swindling scam he is out and looking to make his mark using his inheritance. Unsure of where to start or who to trust Foster finds himself isolated and a little lost.

Addison was an in direct victim that left people penniless and homeless. Her grandfather was a victim of the scam losing his investment, his home and his health. Addison has sworn to make Foster pay and so upon his release she sets off on her crusade to make him suffer.

Not everyone is as they appear and the best laid plans sometimes go awry. Addison doesn't factor in her heart or the way he sets her alight with need. He doesn't realise how quickly a woman can burrow underneath his skin. Lies, accusations and misunderstandings make Wanted an angst filled read. With situational humour in the form of a stray cat and witty banter this is a light hearted fun filled read with a pinch of drama and a sprinkling of hotness. Addison is very narrow minded initially blinded by her family's pain and closed off to the truth. Foster quickly falls under her spell forgetting the first rule of being independently wealthy...trust no one! Can they resolve their issues? Ruby is a great supporting character adding a little fun and common sense along the way. Overall a fantastic romance.

A four star heart of gold read.

If you're a Jani Kay fan and have read her other books you'll know that they are all mostly fairly serious and angsty. This one is NOTHING like them at all ! Yes the subject is a serious matter but Jani's written this and added a lighter side to it in the process.
This will have you laughing from the start when we first meet Addison James who is chasing after the man who was jailed for apparently stealing millions of dollars, not just from her gramps, but also many others too in a ponzi scheme.
Foster Cruise has just been released from a 5 year stretch in prison and Addison is out to get her revenge...... Even though he just wants to forget everything and move on but also try to clear his name by using his family's wealth to help those who need it more than he does.
What follows is an absolute calamity of errors where Addison is concerned and had me laughing many MANY times !! I thought the characters were fantastic, but, for me, the star of the book has to be "THAT DAMN CAT" !! OMG the things the cat does and puts Foster through are hilarious !!
Absolutely fantastic read !!

Addison James is not who or what Foster Cruise thinks she is...

Let the games begin :)

I really liked this story. Not only for its plot, but also for the characters. I'm very new to both these authors and they impressed me immensely as a duo. The story-line unfolded seamlessly and the characterization was spot on throughout the entire story.

The plot was intriguing and twisty and sexy hot! It held my attention both in wondering what was coming next in this shenanigans of a plan Addison started out with and the ridiculously scorching hot sexy tension Foster and Addison held.

This is most definitely a winner.

Wow Wanted: A Monster Billionaire Romance was not what I expected at all. This book by these two authors was outstanding. I loved reading Wanted it was an amazing story, likable characters, steamy sex and the story is filled with some humor and also suspense. This is going to be a great start to a new series. I have read Jani's other work from previous books but not by Normandie Alleman these two brought this story to life with their writing and you will be hooked on it for I was hooked on the first page and didn't stop reading until late at night. Can't wait to see what happens next by these authors in the future.

Normandie Alleman has not let me down yet. This book from her and Jani Kay will keep your heart racing in more ways than one. Between the suspense of seeing what happens between Foster and Addison, the suspense of what Addison is pulling, and the dripping panty action from the heat between those two. I think Foster is my new book boyfriend. He is such an intrinsically good man. Also, Ruby ends up being a barrel of laughs, and not what I expected at all, after what happens when she shows up at Foster's house for Addison. Do yourself a favor and read this.

This book is much different than any other book I have read by Jani Kay. I have not read any books by the co-author, Normandie Alleman.

I had a hard time connecting with the characters in this book. I understood where Addison was coming from but felt she held on too tightly to her anger, even after she started doubting Foster's guilt. I felt Foster was a bit naive. I absolutely loved Mac, thought he was a great addition to the story. I really wanted to like this book more than I do, I just felt there was something missing for me.

In actuality I don’t really read criminal/felon stories because I think in my mind I have all ready prejudged the character even before reading the book which is a gross miscalculation on my part. I now regret my error after reading this book. This book by Ms. Jani Kay and Ms. Normandie Alleman really sounded very interesting plus very different than what I usually read, a criminal or rather a felon with a conscious. I have read a few books from Ms. Alleman and enjoyed them but Ms. Kay is a new author for me still the book intrigued me enough to capture my interest that as soon as I picked it up I could barely put it down. The cover was solemn but compelling enough like the man really had a story to tell. The synopsis pulled me in just with the first sentence I spent the last five years locked in a cage for a crime I didn’t commit.
Foster Cruise has been in prison for the last five years. Foster is wrongly accused of being part of taking hundreds of people’s money and is finally free to live his life. Foster decides to leave his old life behind creating a new life in California but there is someone, Addison James that wants to make sure to put Foster back where he belongs back in prison. Addison will use everything to trap Foster to give up his secrets her body, her soul and even her heart.
From the get go I was apprehensive to like Foster because I didn’t know whether to believe he was innocent like he said he was but as I read further into his viewpoint I begun to understand him. Yes, he was definitely a victim of circumstance and much like Addison I fell for not his glorious descriptions of his manly physique or being very well endowed but his compassion and his heart. Addison on the other hand I didn’t really like her. I understand her anger and vengeance but I didn’t like how she was using Foster just for sex. I kind of wondered how she was able to live when she wasn’t constantly in Foster’s bed. I got the sense that she should have just charged him for his services because it still seemed quite cold to me. I mean eventually I started to like her but it wasn’t until about 84% into the book. I did like Ruby and Mac though they kind of made the book for me and at times even though Foster couldn’t stand them I did want something good to happen to them both. I do hope to see more of Ruby in the next book and that’s why I rated the book four stars, can recommend it, plus will get more books from both Ms. Alleman and Ms Kay whether they write together or separately.

This is the first book I have read by Jani Kay and Normandie Alleman. This writing duo did a great job with this dual pov story. I was engaged from the first page and had to keep reading until I reached the end. I found it to be fairly fast paced and a quick, light, funny, sexy read. The characters were well developed and I felt like I connected with them. Wanted is well written and a great start to what is a new series for the Kay/Alleman team.

Deception. Lies. Confusion.

Foster Cruise has just been released from prison after spending five years behind bars for a crime he didn't commit. Needing a fresh start and to put as much distance between himself and the city that convicted him, he boards a plane for California and sets to work creating a new life for himself. With Foster what you see is not what you get. His exterior may be all sexy, hard and gorgeous, but what lies beneath that is someone who wants to make the world a better place. To help others who are not as fortunate as himself. When Foster crosses paths with Addison, he feels a strong connection and doesn't hesitate to see where it leads. Can he finally take a chance and let someone in or has he learned to trust to easily once again?

Addison James has spent the last several years trying to pick up the pieces to her families lives. When her father died leaving her and her mother destitute they moved in with her grandfather. He has been her world for the last several years. When he receives devastating news he suffers a heart attack and this fuels Addison to go after the parties responsible. With a plan in place Addison follows the one man she thinks is responsible across the country. She will do just about anything to get to the bottom of her families loss and rectify the situation. What she didn't consider was the fact that maybe the man she thought was responsible, really was innocent. When Addison gets to learn more about the real Foster Cruise will her plans change? And when her heart becomes involved will Foster be able to forgive her for her Deception. Lies and Confusion?

Overall I really did enjoy this book. It was well written, engaging and entertaining. I look forward to the next book in the series and to see how this writing duo progress. Grab your copy of Wanted today and be sucked into the world of Foster Cruise.

Sometimes you read a book and all can remember is all the hot, sexy details, the story behind the couple gets lost in the shuffle. I love all the sexiness and Wanted is all that, but it also gives you more. The love story between Addison and Foster is real, emtional, and intense. The writing will capture you from the start and keep you entranced until the every end. The reader will be drawn to Foster and Addison and be able to relate to their issues, understand their thinking, and feel their heart with each passing page.

Foster may have made some bad decisions when he was younger, but he's grown over the past several years and seen the error of this ways. He's vowed to make things right, one way or another. He wants to find that someone special that will see him for him, not just his good looks and what is in his bank accounts. And he may seem like a tough, macho man but inside he's got a heart of gold.

Addison is young, beautiful, and out to set right the wrongs that have been done to her and her family. You can't help but love her for her passionate desire to help her family. Her heart may be in the right place, but her plans are not well thought out at times. And in the end, you have to admire her for her ability to admit when she is wrong, even though she jumped to conclusions without known all the facts.

I really enjoyed this book, more than I expect to. Once I started, I couldn't put it down until I had finished. Jani and Normandie have brought us a story that is has heart and passion that will leave the reader satiated and pleased. I can't wait see what these two talented authors will brings us next.

Wanted: A Monster Billionaire Romance is the first book in a new series by authors, Normandie Alleman and Jani Kay. I have to say, this one, as I like to say, hits it out of the park! (Proud member of Red Sox Nation doncha know.)
Foster Cruise has just spent the past five years in prison for a crime he hasn’t committed. His boss, Arnie, set him up in a massive Ponzi scheme to bilk families out of their life savings while lining his own pockets. Foster decides to move to the other side of the country and start his life over, but he doesn’t count on one little hiccup following him…
Addison James. Her grandfather is one of those affected by Foster’s boss, but she’s convinced Foster was in on it, and she’s determined to see him pay. She decides she’s going to mount a campaign of seduction against the man to get evidence against him, which she hopes will place him back in prison. Where he belongs.
But along the way, things don’t always go as planned. And with a quirky new friend in the mix, Addison finds that maybe Foster isn’t quite what she expected. But what happens when the truth is all laid bare? You’ll have to pick up a copy and find out for yourself!
This was a blast to read and I loved Foster’s Alpha, dominant, scenes in the bedroom, (and shower, and kitchen, ect..) This was definitely one of those books I kept on reading right through, and at time I just wanted to shake Addison and tell her to “Wake up!” But this is definitely one for the keeper pile, and I can’t wait until the next book, Relationship Goals: A Monster Billionaire Romance comes out about Foster’s soccer buddy, Benedict Morgan.
A screaming 5 Orgasm Book!

I have discovered Normandie Alleman just recently and loved every book I’ve read by her so far. So when I heard that she would be co-writing a new series with Jani Kay, I jumped at the chance. Jani Kay is not unknown to me either, but WANTED was the first of her books I’ve read. And I am glad I did, I’ll have to put her books on the top of my TBR pile…

WANTED definitely surprised me, it was so different from my expectation, but in a good way. It is very well written – in a way you won’t exactly be able to tell both the authors’ writing apart. The pacing is fast and flows effortlessly, which made it hard for me to put my Kindle down.

Foster spent the last five years in jail, for a crime he did not commit. Now free again, he sets out to create a new self and trying to make the world a better place in the process. But the past is not yet ready to let him go… and comes to haunt him in the form of Addison.
Addison, the granddaughter of one of the many people who Foster was being accused of having deceived, is out for revenge and will stop at nothing to see Foster behind bars again.

Those two have sizzling chemistry right from the start. Whereas Foster has no clue about Addison’s true motives, Addison soon has to realize that Foster is different from the evil man she pictured him as…

There is some serious hotness in the book, along with a great couple that is just made for each other. It is sweet and humorous, with some little twists perfectly placed to keep you glued to the pages until the very end.

I am looking forward to the sequel of this series!

*** ARC Provided by Author for Honest Review ***

This is a first time reading this authors work and I have to say that's it's totally not what I was imagining. It's a good read but to me just fell a little short of being great.

It was funny, sexy, with hot sexy scenes but it just left me wanting more of the whole revenge plot. It seemed there was a big build up with Addison wanting revenge only to be pushed aside. Wish she would have kept that going a little longer and not just let it fall for instant love.

I really did like Foster he was sexy, quiet, sweet and a gentleman even after just being released from prison his manners never left him. I felt sad for him though as he not only lost 5yrs of his life but he was alone, he lost friends, parents, and now the only person he was feeling ready to let in was just there to bring him down for revenge.

Addison started as a very strong character very sure of herself and what she wanted. She was ready to sacrifice anything to bring down the person responsible for her family losing everything. She was funny. But then I feel like she fell flat and just gave up too easy on her goals.

I'm giving this book 4 stars because although I wanted more there where some great scenes that totally made it worth it.

This book was beautiful. I loved how even though Foster was young and careless, he still served his time. He got out and immediately wanted to help people. He has a very giving heart. Yes there are people who are mad at him but I'm pretty sure they forgave him especially at the end. Foster is drop dead gorgeous and along with the sweet caring personality he has, it makes 100% irresistible. Addison has a plan.. Seek revenge on the man who wronged her grandpa. I was a little upset that she didn't really carry out her plan at all. I mean, she did a little snooping but nothing major. I guess Foster was even to charming for her. I loved Addison and Foster together! Even if she was deceitful in the beginning. Foster showed her a side to him that most people don't get to see. She caved hook, line and sinker into him. Honestly I would have too... I will say one character I didn't like was Ruby.. She was an annoyance to me. She was way to eager to jump into things especially after just meeting Addison but minus all her bad qualities, she was able to get them to see the light and connect again. I especially love how despite the reasonings they met, they still were able to forgive and love each other. I really, really, really enjoyed this book!! So much so, I'd recommend to everyone I know. It has a good message to it.

Wanted: Foster Cruise for next book boyfriend

***** some spoilers*****

I really loved the concept for this book. The hot alpha billionaire who was wrongly imprisoned and the cute financially struggling girl who goes after him to fight for her grandpa who got taken to the cleaners by him!! Or did he? When we meet Foster Cruise he is just getting out of prison for a crime he didn't commit and wants to be far away from his old life and begin fresh again on the other side of the country! Where nobody knows him by face or name.

In walks Addison, the girl that is supposed to avenge Foster for taking her grandfathers savings, house and almost his life. When she meets Foster, she has a totally different opinion of him other than a hardened criminal who bilked millions of dollars from the elderly. In fact she charms her way into his heart and home and falls for him.

Can their love make it through when they finally tell each other who they really are.

I had a little trouble relating to these two characters. That is why it is not a 5 star read for me! Foster was way too naive, and Addison falling for the man she hated for 5 years in only a weeks time!!? Other than that, the story was well written and flowed great. I would recommend this book to anyone! It was very enjoyable!

LEEANN'S REVIEW
4 STARS

So if you like to read a book with lots and lots and lots of sex scenes then this is for you.
While I was reading this, the phrase that kept coming to my mind was ‘Oh, what a tangled web we weave. When first we practise to deceive!’

So we have poor old Foster who has just finished a 5 year stint in prison & is just looking to start his life fresh & right some wrongs.
Then we have the wronged, Addison, who is out for revenge.

Form their 1st meeting the chemistry was lit and things were never going to be the same. The course of starting over changed and the thirst
for revenge was dulled. These two are literally like fire and ice.
At times I found Addison to be a bit wishy washy. The only time she really knew what she wanted was in the bedroom.. or in the pool.. or the kitchen etc.
Whereas once Foster decided he wanted Addison in his life he gave their relationship 100% and held nothing back. The dynamic between the two was interesting &
for most of the book I really didn’t think they were going to get their HEA.

Overall this would make a good quick holiday read. It was a little bit slow in the beginning but picked up pace at around the halfway mark and continued at
a steady pace through to the end.
