Seventeen-year-old Sydney Long is a fighter. Even on her deathbed at the end of her battle with cancer, she refuses to break. As her heart monitor delivers its final screech, a witch saves her life by making her immortal, sending her family spiraling into a dark magical world.

As she attempts to follow the rules by hiding her ability to heal and kill with a touch, Sydney falls for a boy who is as dangerous and enticing as the lethal magic in her hands.

When Sydney attracts the attention of a ruthless hunter, her chance at a second life unravels before her eyes. Death slithers into her life again, and this time it's waiting to take her parents and everyone she loves if she doesn't stop it.

Fate, magic, and immortality collide in this new YA paranormal romance trilogy.

Of course, I love this book and I really hope you enjoy it, too. It’s the story of a seventeen-year-old girl who is dying but instead, she’s given a chance to live forever. It has magic and danger and a tense love story with teens who can't stay away from each other. It’s available now. If YA paranormal romance is your thing, check it out.

This was an interesting read. It sucked that Sydney and her family had to go through so much. Although, I'm glad that she met Andrew. It will be interesting to see how things will go in the next book.

Loved it! It's really hard to find YA books that are diverse so I'm excited that M. Lathan diversifies her characters. I read her other series and I LOVED it and I think this trilogy will be just as good. I look forward to seeing what else she has in store.
