Yyyyyeeeeessssss, that's what I'm talking about. It picked up right where part one ended. Sire knew that he loved Lady, but because of the mess that Lexus did, made him lose respect for women. Lady actually calmed Sire down, but he was hurt, when he found out about her past from Omar, instead of from her. Lady decided that she needed a fresh start, so she relocated once again. She didn't know anyone, until she met Gerard, who tried to wine and dine Lady, but she wasn't the least bit impressed.
You would have thought that Gerard (Drill) was a complete gentleman, because that's how he treated Lady. I somehow believed that when Gerard (Drill) ran into Lady, it wasn't by accident. Gerard (Drill) had to have been part of Omar's crew. Everyone knew that when it came to Sire or Ryan, the best way to send a message, was through Lady. Ryan loved Lady like a sister, and of course, she was the mother of Sire's children. The way that Drill popped up at Sire's birthday bash, meant that he had eyes on Lady, Sire, Ryan, Monty, and Toine. Drill had now started a war, and for him to cause havoc where all of Sire's loved ones were, was a big mistake.
Ryan and Tasha had came a long way. They had put their differences to the side, and were civil toward one another. At first, Ryan wasn't too happy about Tasha being a part of his future, but the closer Tasha's due date, the happier he became. It was bad enough that Candace found out that Ryan was the one behind her first love's death. Ryan knew he had made a huge mistake, but the damage had already taken place. Ryan couldn't take away Candace's pain, so I felt bad for Ryan. Ryan was a great catch, and I wanted Candy and him together. Candy just needed to at least hear Ryan out, because he didn't know Candy at the time, and it was a simple mistake. Candy needed to hear what Ryan had to say, even if it was to give her the apology she deserved.
I'm so happy that Lala and Toine were finally down the right path. It was cool, how all of Toine children's mother had a relationship, minus Heaven. Heaven was anything but heavenly, but in fact, she was trouble. Everyone could see that she wanted the love Toine gave Lala given to her. Heaven just couldn't see that Toine kept her around for a good time, but she wouldn't ever carry his last name. Heaven needed to raise her standards, and find her own man. Also, Alisha needed to go on somewhere. I didn't believe that Toine was the father of her baby at all.... if she knew what went through Toine's mind, she should have ran for the hills.
Monty was wrong for how he asked Cola to bust those guns. Cola, Nylah, and Monty were placed into that situation only because of Monty. No, it wasn't intentional, but they were after him. When it came to Cola's rape, it was Monty's best friend that did it to get back at Monty. Monty had brought a lot of chaos into Cola's life, so I was even surprised that Cola would have any type of relationship with Monty. Cola needed therapy to deal with all the hurt, pain, and turmoil that occurred to her, but instead she had seeked the comfort of pain pills. Cola was a good girl, and I pray that she stayed that way. Part two was so much better than part one. I was on the edge of my seat when it came to what may have happened next. Thank you for a good read.

Even with everything going on it just seems like the series is dragging out for nothing. With all the drama it all came to a stop so quick that I’m guessing the mess with Drill will end the same way. Hopefully someone on the “goon squad” is actually going to fall because the story can’t keep going the way it is without them taking a loss. For them to be “running” the city they have too many problems with outsiders coming in causing drama. Someone out the group has to fall in order to keep the series interesting and it can’t be one of the ladies.

This book was simply amazing. After reading another book written by this extremely talented young lady, I decided to go and find EVERYTHING that I could that had her name listed as the author. As expected, I WAS OVERJOYED with the caliber of work that she yet again turned out for this release. Lady and Sire were two of a kind. Both of course came from very dark backgrounds and the very pieces that they were missing in themselves they found in one another. The fact that Lady held no punches with Sire is what I loved about their relationship. She didn't allow him to get away with the usual and the same can be said about Sire. He did not want or allow Lady to pull the wool over his eyes when it came to her possibly slipping back into old habits. Overall I can't reiterate enough that this was a top-notch read. Antoine with his baby mama's and all of their drama, Ryan with his hot-headedness, Monty and the added addition of Cola aka Lil' Bear and Nylah and the charming Charm. All of the cast help to round out this riveting tale. I would be remiss in my duties as an AVID READER if I did not share that you definitely won't want to miss out on this FANTASTIC READ!!!!!!

I enjoyed this book more than the first book. Although Sire is still an a-hole, I saw a softer side of him. I loved that he was man enough to apologize to Lady and try to make things right. I also loved that they showed affection toward each other and finally worked out their differences. As for the rest of the crew....smh. Monty's story was a surprise and I hope he and Nicola can work things out, Antoine....smh, not another one, I love Ry, I hope Candy can forgive him and Charm.....LMBO, he is another Sire. The ending though.....OMG! Lastly, am I only the only one that thinks Lexus did something to Lady's brakes. I really don't think it was Drill aka Gerard, but I could be wrong. I can't wait to read book 3 and I hope that will be the last book, because I just can't with the cliffhangers.

I know that Ms. Saquea is going to stop playing with these endings. Finally we get Sire to act reasonable and up turns this Drill person. Lady can't seem to catch a break with the enemies. I felt sorry for Ryan with the whole Candy situation. Poor Toine couldn't catch a break with those baby moms to save his life. I hope Monty and Cola get it together now that there's a kid involved. I liked Charm his personality was a mixture of Sire & Ryan I can't wait to read more about him. I can't wait for Lady to drop those babies so she can give Lex that work she's dying for. This was most definitely worth the read, can't wait for part three.

Very Interesting!!!!
If there were ever some Dysfunctional, Rude, Loyal, & Hilarious characters that you ever wanted to read about....this is definitely the book to read...lol!! Sire was the ring leader when it came to being a Disrespectful individual but call it crazy, I'm still Team Sire & Lady!!! I really enjoyed Part 2 and anxious to see how it all plays out in Part 3. Also looking forward to seeing how the newest member, CHARM, plays out!!! Great read....Highly recommended

Another page turner. Part two was just as good as part one. I was so glad the bullet didn't kill Lady. I want Lady and Sire to have healthy babies and a relationship but it seems like something always has to come mess it up. I knew Gerard had some secrets . I can't wait for part three.

I'm so glad Sire and Lady got their selves together. I knew something wasn't right about Gerald. I like Monty but Cola is getting on my nerves. She knew Monty was in the streets b4 she got with him. I'll glad when Lexus gets her karma. Poor Toine can't catch a break. I love Charm!!!!

MUST READ!!!!
This is definitely a must read. I didn't think it was possible for this book to be better than part 1 boy was I wrong. Charmanie did the darn thing with this book. They just get better and better. I know part 3 will be out of this world...I can't wait to read it...

I love everything about this series so far. I hope Sire and Lady make it out alive because the book wouldn't be the same if they not in it. I hate that the book had to end because I was enjoying it so much but now I can't wait to read book 3.

May 5, 2016Just as good as the first book. I'm going to need both Lady and Sire to get it together. Somehow it continues to look as if Lady is scheming when she's really not. The ending left me wanting more. Patiently waiting for part 3.

Didn't enjoy this book as much as the first. It felt drawn out and Lady and Sire's egos, immaturity and pettiness was annoying. Still like Ryan and with Charm on the scene it's more fun. Those two are a mess.

Even though I didn't like how it ended ,this read kept my attention through out . In the last read I was looking at Sire sideways but he kinda redeem himself in this read even though he's bat shit crazy . I can't wait for Lady and Sire to finally get it together.
