I won this book in a goodreads drawing.

Fairly typical conspiracy thriller, with an independent presidential candidate willing to do anything to win, while backed by his Marine officer billionaire brother.

Seems a little more realistic this year.

Shocking, twist-filled goodness!

This is an expertly-crafted political thriller.
The writing is tight. The plot is very suspenseful.
The twists are brilliantly-paced.
The characters have that "real" feel.

And there are some REALLY shocking turns.
The ending is so good that I have GOT to read the sequel!

This was an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

This is a very well written thriller. Politics, religion, and extremism clash in a way that makes you really think. I loved the storyline, and must read book 2 at some point.

Got this book for free. So cool that two main characters Robert and Doris Strong were actually my in-laws names. I thought it was a good story. Will most likely read the sequel.

This was a DNF for me the moment they used the word ‘coolie’ in casual conversation. It’s a hard pass on racial slurs for me.

I received a free copy of this book via a Goodreads giveaway.

I had the pleasure of reading “Death of the Republic" another book by F. Scott Andison. F. Scott Andison is easily becoming one of my favorite authors. This story covers two controversy subjects, religion and politics. It contains all the action, drama, and romance that I was expecting. Now, I'm looking forward to reading “Holy American Empire" the second book in the Urisen series.
