Hajime Isayama (諫山 創 Isayama Hajime, born 1986) is a Japanese manga artist from Ōyama, Ōita. His first and currently ongoing serial, Attack on Titan, has sold over 22 million copies as of July 2013. He has mentioned Tsutomu Nihei, Ryōji Minagawa, Kentaro Miura, Hideki Arai and Tōru Mitsumine as artists he respects, but stated that the manga that had the biggest influence on him was ARMS.

La seule chose que je regrette c'est de n'avoir pas commencé ce manga plus tôt ! Cela fait des mois que j'entends pourtant parler de l'attaque des titans. Ce 1er tome est terrifiant et termine d'une manière si abrupte que je n'ai qu'une envie, me jeter tout de suite sur le second tome !

بداية ليست سيئة. قرأت الفصل الأول في العدد الأول من مانجا العربية، لكنني أظن أنني سأضطر إلى إكمالها بالانجليزية لأن المترجم منها حتى الآن لا يتعدى العشر فصول، كما أن الترجمة ليست أفضل شيء.

Je suis rentré dans le monde de mon fils pour plus de complicité. Ça le rend heureux et moi avec. Le dessins ne sont pas terribles, mais l'histoire est original. De plus, c'est rapide à lire.

This book is for those who like blood and gore. This book takes place in the area called the walls after a hundread years of human like giants known as titans trying to eat the humans. The main character is a boy named Eren Yeager and one day a new breed of titan came and destroyed the entrance. Now eren needs to run from the swarm of titans heading his way or get eatin' alive. I rate this book 8/10 mainly because this is a good series but sometimes it gets too gory. I recommend you read this unless you are a "my little pony fan" then you need to log out and completly leave right now and think what you did

So, I was not expecting it to be this good but I kind of loved it. Maybe not loved but I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. I was interested the whole time and basically read it all in one sitting. Not a massive fan of manga( I'm not the best at reading it) but this was interesting and I might even try to find the sequel and read it.🖤

The ending…😭 I’m not ashamed to say that I threw the book across the room - I don’t have the second volume damn it!

This book was very great it had great story line. Giving lots of emotions this book was sad then happy and had character you could fall in love with.It had gore it not for the faint of heart and is made for a older .The character names are easy to remmber and not forgetable

J'avais découvert cette histoire grâce aux animés, que j'avais adoré.
Et puis, après la saison 1, j'ai eu l'envie de découvrir le manga papier et j'ai commencé à dévorer tous les tomes de cette série.

J'aime beaucoup le dessin, réaliste et dur, riche de détails.
L'intrigue souffre de quelques longueurs et il y a tellement de personnages que j'ai parfois du mal à tous les reconnaître.
Cependant, l'originalité, le suspens et l'action maintiennent l'intérêt du lecteur.
Les personnages sont intéressants, présentent une belle profondeur, on s'y attache et on souffre de leur disparition, quand ils finissent engloutis par les gueules déformées des titans.
Mais que sont-ils? Ces monstres à l'apparence vaguement humaine?
Le mystère demeure même si des pistes apparaissent peu à peu et laissent poindre finalement une question inquiétante, qui est le pire ennemi de l'homme?

Une très bonne lecture pour les fans d'horreur et d'action.
