The first person perspective works great! I felt the beginning was a little slow but some of that is because I’m not into history but found that once he dug into the actual mystery the story moved along quickly and I could not not stop reading. I finished this book in two days! A fabulous read!

Zombies, secret societies, hidden truths.. this book has it all. It did get a bit long and I found my self scanning the last quarter of the book.
