Summer has finally quit her job as an agent.
After she had to kill a friend/colleague who betrayed everyone, she left to go back home to Georgia to be with her huge southern family. To maybe even start a family of her own.

But now her two ex-colleagues and dream men - halfbrothers Falcon and Raeg - found her. They're staying with her and her family to protect them from a russian sociopath-warlord who wants revenge!

But he's not the only one they're all afraid of. Raeg & Falcon have some secrets of their own - a reason for why they can can't ever be with Summer forever-happily-ever-after....

Lots of very suspensy and very erotic moments until Summer can even think about settling down with one, or even both of her men!

What will happen to Summer and her two guys?
READ THE BOOK TO FIND OUT ☺

I've read and loved many or Lora's books. Especially those erotic suspense ones!
And I also read pretty much all of those 15 Bound Hearts books, but I was still extremely and hopelessly confused and lost in the beginning of this book. The prologue and the first chapter is just talk about past people and actions and I only understood 25% of everything. So many full pages of words and almost nothing made sense.☺ For me at least. Maybe you'll understand what's what!
It got a bit better once I knew who was who and why we were where we were!☺☺

And it got a LOT better once the sexiness began! PHEW!

We have sooo many mega erotic moments and lots of suspensy moments and frustrating and sad and funny and adorable moments!

I really enjoyed reading this story! It was a bitt too wordy here and there, but I really enjoyed the whole big southern family atmosphere! All those siblings and family members - all of whom have some agent or military background. Adorable!

INTENSE PLEASURE was an extremely erotic & very suspensy m/f/m romance!!!! Hurry to your nearest amazon for your own copy of this sexiness!

Don't let the title of this book fool you. This story was so much more than the title implies. This is by far the best ménage story I have read to date. Lora Leigh provided the perfect blend of romance and suspense. Usually I find the suspense is the main focus and not the romance in these types of stories but I never felt that one or the other overtook this one. I also find it hard to really enjoy a ménage story because it's not easy to blend three lives. Lets face it, most ménage books are just about sex and not much of a story. Not from this author. She can weave a suspense story like no other while also making the love of three people believable. This book had me at the edge of my seat and I Loved it! ARC provided by NetGalley.

Welcome back, Ms. Leigh, oh how I have missed your delicious ménage with strong women and stubborn men. I loved this book. This book brings back fond memories of the first few books in this Bound Hearts series. This is the kind of book which pulled me into the erotic world of threesomes. Ms. Leigh knocks this one out of the park with the sexual tension, pulling of heart strings and erotic burning up sheets.

The characters in this book are awesome. I have liked Summer as she dips in and out of other books. This book featuring her is fabulous. Summer is tired of working as an agent and she is going home to find her home with a white picket fence. The Southern girl that she is, she is having a huge ball with gentlemen callers to see if they are a match for her. Because she knows the two men she wants, she can never have - Falcone and Raeg.

Falcone and Raeg have worked with Summer for years. They are brothers who enjoy sharing their a woman between them. They are exquisite lovers who do not keep a woman for long. They long to call Summer their own yet they hesitate due to their past. They do however succumb to temptation and finally devour Summer up. There are some very hot Summer nights between these three. Ms. Leigh certain delivers up blazing hot sex in this book.

The conflict of this story is heartbreaking in many senses. The plot device Ms. Leigh uses is a familiar one. It leaves a reader with dread in the pit of their stomach. The anticipation of a train wreck keeps this story on a constant edge. Whilst the love triangle is forming, work history is coming to bite all three of them on the proverbial butt. Between protecting Summer, learning a different perspective to their history and finding out that Summer is willing to move on without them, Falcone and Raeg are run ragged. What impacted me most is the intense emotions pulled from me as I experience Summer's sorrow and witnessing Falcone and Raeg's despair. Learning about the truth behind the partial facts of Summer's violation as a teen and her father's negligence is yet another tear jerker.

This story is not just one kleenex after another. It does contain humour as the dynamic between Summer and her father have her two lovers completely mystified. I have to admit, I too am a little puzzled yet more bemused. Summer's insistence on no sexual discussion around or about her father is a constant source of amusement. I love how Ms. Leigh injects humour at the right moments. This erotic suspense is highly recommended to romance lovers who enjoy ménage between three strong willed characters.

Intense Pleasure is the first book I've read by author Lora Leigh. To be honest, I don't think it lived up to the hype. Don't get me wrong, this book is HOT and if you like menage romance then you might want to pick this one up, but even though I was under the impression that this could read as a standalone, I'm not sure that's accurate. I feel like going into this story, I should've known more up front. Because of this, I didn't connect with the characters as much as I would have liked. The plot was a little drawn out as well. It was just slow moving and the ending was a bit of a let down. It could have used an epilogue of some sort. In any case if you are looking for an erotic read where you don't care if you are invested in the main characters or not...this is a book you will want to try out.

'Intense Pleasure' by Lora Leigh is the story of Summer, Falcone and Raeg. Summer has always been attracted to both brothers: Falcone and Raeg. Falcone and Raeg too have been fighting their attraction to her. Falcone and Raeg find they need to protect Summer from a deadly threat. Raeg is the one brother that has been fighting their attraction the most. Can they help Summer and also move forward with their building relationship? If you read Ms. Leigh's books before you know how hot they can get and this one did not disappoint.

Let’s just put this on the top of my re-read shelf…

I love this author’s books! From shifters to ménage, Lora Leigh knows how to write a compelling, emotional, sizzling read and the Bound Hearts series is a testament to all those good things. In the latest instalment, Summer, Falcone and Raeg are at odds even as they love each other fiercely…

“She was the light to their dark…”
The life of espionage means secrets, lies and intrigue are par for the course. What happens though when you can’t take it anymore? When you realize there is more to life? Summer is at a crossroads and is re-evaluating everything she knows, or believes she knows. What she is certain of? She wants a future with the men she has loved for so long.

“They were already a part of her.”

Oh my southern stars! I can almost hear the lilting drawls even as they drip in sarcasm. Summer was a strong lady – whether in high heels or sporting a Glock – and she held her own whether it came to her alpha male lovers or the family that adored her (and drove her crazy). And to say her family was interesting is a huge understatement as they provided just as much entertainment as the main characters.

There is friction between almost everyone and the conversations are as heated as the encounters between the lovers themselves. I reveled in each and every encounter as there were surprises all the way along… This is the fourteenth book in this series that just gets better and better. There are hints to what has happened before and, even though this is standalone, you don’t want to miss a page in this series!

“I want you to be happy, even if you can’t be happy with me.”

Sigh….

Fourteenth in the Bound Hearts erotica romance series and usually revolving around a sex club near Washington D.C. This story is set in Clifton, Georgia. The threesome focus is on Summer Calhoun, Falcon, and Raeg.

My Take
It's one long whine after another in this tale of three prideful drama queens. The whole story is whining and whining and whining and… Summer runs away rather than deal. Raeg has a one-track mind about his lover's murder with nothing getting through to him. Nobody actually stops to think and analyze what has happened either now or in the past.

The conflict about Dragovich was simply an excuse to put Summer, Falcon, and Raeg together. There was almost nothing in here but talk about him with a soupçon of action.

The prologue begins and then continues into the main story. Why Leigh bothered with a prologue, I don't know. And as much as I enjoy the erotica, this didn't do it for me with all that whining, all that stupid cat-and-mouse crap where everyone jumps to conclusions faster than spit on a hot griddle.

I'm annoyed we didn't get any more information about Gia's family. Where does this "Georgia hick" stuff come from? What's the deal with the rape? Obviously Summer knew who it was. She'd have told her daddy, so WTF?

As for the boys' paranoia about their father? W. T. F. If these boys are crack agents, how come they're too stupid to have figured out their father's reasoning? As readers, we only know through the third-person omniscient point-of-view what their past has been, but even I can put it together!

Ya know, for such intelligent people, they sure are stupid.

Okay, so there are a few bits I enjoyed. The Calhoun family is warm, supportive, teasing, and…paranoid.

And I loved that porch.

The Story
It's the threat of a Russian crime lord against Summer that pulls Falcon and Raeg in to protect her.

Can they find a way to keep Summer safe—or will their own bitter past stand in their way?

The Characters
Summer Calhoun is her real name. Summer Bartlett, a.k.a., Belle, was her spy name when she was in the CIA. Daddy (Major Caleb "Cal" Calhoun is a former Delta Force commander) and Momma (Leasa is a former CIA analyst). Caleb is former Special Forces; Brody, an expert in native warfare, and Bowe, a crack sniper, are her brothers. Aunjenue is her younger sister. More family includes Aunt Mary; Calista with her newborn baby, Dawn Rose; and, Calista's husband, Frank, who is with his unit.

Others who interact on the farm include Whitt Grayson, one of Caleb's Special Forces teammates and Clay's assistant; Clay Tucker is the farm foreman; Joel Wyman is Cal's best friend; Luke Jagger is still with Special Forces; Drew Stillman is an agent for the Bureau; and, Mike Taggart is a friend of Summer's brothers.

Esteban "Falcon" de la Cortez Falcone is a wild Spanish boy who has been Summer's partner. John "Raeg" Raegent is his half-brother, and both need to share their lover. Raeg is currently chief of staff for David Allen. Roberto "Cyclops" Falcone is their father, an elite CIA assassin who ghosts through life; their mothers are Maria Mendoza and Selena Raegent, respectively, and Roberto's working partners. And, yeah, "pops" has his own threesome goin' on. Hailey Anne is Falcon and Raeg's sister (Maria's her mother).

Near as I can tell, the Lucien Connor mentioned in this might be the Lucien Conover who has appeared previously in the series. Other than that, I don't know. Steve McGillan is Summer's personal hairdresser. Trina is the dressmaker. Marilyn Dempsey had been the young agent with whom Raeg had been in love. Jennifer could have been another mistake.

Alyssa Hampstead is Summer's best friend and Senator David Allen and Margo Hampstead's daughter; Summer is their goddaughter. Seems the Hampsteads had also been in the spy game.

Dragovich is a Russian crime lord related to the Russian ambassador to the U.S. who wants Summer. Gia Barrett was the woman Summer had thought a friend.

The Cover and Title
The cover is in soft browns ranging from chocolate to toast with one of the brothers and Summer in a naked embrace, a toasty band spanning the relevant bits *eyebrow waggle* The author's name is white against the soft warm brown and the same toasty color for the series information at the bottom. The title is in a scripted gold for the first word while the second is in a roman white.

The title is what they all keep resisting, Intense Pleasure.

Good read. Although at one point I almost gave up.

I didn’t like one main character. Being an asshole for half the book with no explanation or justification means he was a villain.

So I read the epilogue and understood why. So went back reading. But it was the same plot over and over... guys loved her. She loved them. They couldn’t have a Long term relationship... for few hundred pages...

So I read it. Liked some parts. Hated others.

No issues with style, typos and grammar, this author knows her draft.

If you like tormented menage a trois MFM with an asshole in the middle up to the very end with a glimpse of a southern family taste.

It is a standalone book but #14 part of a saga/series. Which means that the author made multiple references of secondary characters and if you didn’t read the previous book, you are lost or you miss the plot and general context. That is probably why I didn’t relate or fall for the characters.

I read #8 Forbidden pleasure which I adored and it was the complete opposite.

"Their weakness."

FINAL DECISION: A menage story, but more than that.  This is a great suspense story with some hot sexy moments with two brothers and their fellow agent thrown in.

THE STORY: After years of working as an agent, Summer has had enough.  But when her identity is revealed and an enemy intends to eliminate her, two men who worked closely with her for years come to help her.  Falcon and Raeg are half-brothers who share their work and their women.  Now they want to protect Summer and there is a strong attraction between them all.  But Falcon and Raeg have secrets of their own and it might mean that having summer will break the brothers apart.

OPINION:  This book is grounded in the suspense story of the man hunting Summer and also the secrets that Falcon and Raeg have. There are two dangerous stories at play here and plenty of action to satisfy readers.

Summer is a complex woman.  A longtime agent, she can take care of herself.  Yet Falcon and Raeg are surprised by the woman they see when she is with her family. She is sexually attracted to both men and willing to engage in a relationship that many would see as extreme and yet Summer is also entirely emotionally attached to these two men from the beginning.  She is hurt by the standoff nature of Raeg. She is also haunted by the necessity of her killing the woman she thought of as her best friend -- even though the woman betrayed Summer and resulted in the enemy who is hunting Summer now.

Falcon is the most approachable of the brothers. Charming and easy going is what people see in him and yet he also possesses a dominant side which comes out with Summer.  I loved that Falcon likes brushing Summer's hair.  That attribute is so sweet and yet so sexy. He is the more open of the brothers to Summer's allure. Although he wants his brother as part of their relationship, he insists that Raeg be an equal partner and not absent himself emotionally from the relationship.

Raeg is especially haunted by the brothers past.  While Falcon can accept that they might not be able to hold Summer forever and yet wants what he can have today, Raeg is afraid of emotionally opening himself up.  He is the dark, brooding, jerky brother. His dominance is dark and especially strong. It is his emotional journey which makes up most of the romantic conflict in this story.

The relationship in this book is complex. The two brothers are different and each fulfills something different for Summer. Having a triangle romance emotionally is a difficult enterprise especially where there are secrets and difficulties that the brothers are not revealing. Half of this book is about the developing relationship between the three main characters and the remainder is the suspense story which keeps the plot moving quickly.

The one weakness of this story is that what happened with these characters before the beginning of this book appears central to the connection between these characters (working together and being "friends" for eight years) and yet that building of the relationship is completely absent.  Everything happens offstage and thus truly feeling the connection between these characters is more difficult to feel for the first half of the book.

Despite this, I enjoyed this book and it fits right in the Bound Hearts series.

WORTH MENTIONING:  This is a MMF romance with an emotional as well as a sexual relationship between each of the men and the woman.

CONNECTED BOOKS:  INTENSE PLEASURE is the fourteenth book in the Bound Hearts series, but this book can be read as a standalone.

STAR RATING:  I give this book 4 stars.

A sizzling story filled with emotional moments, hot interludes, and tests of both trust and love.

What Summer "Belle" Calhoun wants is very different from what she can have. Her partner Falcon and his brother, Raeg, are the same way and what is at stake is so much more than desire and wants.

She wants out of the business and Falcon knows this. She's had to kill her best friend, whom she didn't know hated her. She loves two men and can't have either because they will not take her unless they both agree and while Falcon is all sweet and sensitive and charm, his brother, Raeg, is not.

When it comes to loving a woman Raeg has his reasons that he won't. He been very clear about a sexual night or two but nothing more. He will protect Summer no matter what and it's against an enemy that both he and Falcon have in common. He will walk away to protect Summer.

Falcon has loves Summer for years and while he feels the way he does he will not push a physical relationship because Raeg is fighting it so hard. He almost lost Summer though on their last job and he doesn't ever want to feel that way again. It may come down to leaving Raeg and not Summer for him.

When her life is in danger both men are at her side as will as her family, who all know how to protect people and don't mind killing when necessary. When they arrive back in Georgia for Summer it's a homecoming for the men a revelation.

This is a serious page turner and will heat you up and make you smile. There is danger and LOTS of alpha males in the same place so there is definitely tension.

This is a yes to any book she writes author for me. I love this and every book I've read by her and you will too.
There are vivid sex scenes and they are multiple person so if that bothers you do read this. If not, you will certainly want more of this author!

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

'Intense Pleasure' by Lora Leigh is part of the Bound Heart series and this is the story of Summer, Falcone and Raeg. In this we see Summer attraction to both brothers: Falcone and Raeg and that it has always been there. Falcone and Raeg have fought their attraction to Summer but now Summer is fighting a deadly threat and they need to protect her or they will lose her , perhaps forever. In this book, there is one brother who fights his attraction to Summer over the other the most and he seems to be the one who doesn’t want to give in to the attraction so we get to read why while they fight who is stalking Summer and protecting her and finding out her secrets. Will Summer let the men in or will she push them further away as she has been pushed away? The passion and the heat is intense and delicious. The suspense and action is fantastic. I really enjoyed myself and am eagerly awaiting to read the next book in the Bound Hearts Series. Lora Leigh did a fabulous job leaving a door open to visit a character in this book , for them to visited down the road. I am psyched to see if that happens.

••••••••

REVIEW: 3.75 stars--INTENSE PLEASURE is the fourteenth installment in Lora Leigh’s contemporary adult BOUND HEART erotic, romantic ménage, suspense series. This is former CIA agents Summer Calhoun, Estaban ‘Falcon’ Falcone, and John Raeg’s story line. INTENSE PLEASURE can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information is revealed where necessary. Falcon, Raeg and Summer were first introduced to the reader in the previous installment-SECRET PLEASURE-Summer is Alyssa’s best friend.

NOTE: INTENSE PLEASURE is a M/F/M storyline with graphic sexual situations and language.

Told from three third person perspectives (Summer, Falcon, Raeg) INTENSE PLEASURE is a friends to lovers story line that focuses on the struggling professional and personal relationship between former CIA operatives and one-time partners Summer Cahoun, and half-brothers Falcon Falcone and John Raeg.

Summer was tired; the threat of death always a step behind and our heroine is willing to walk away from the men that she loved to face a quiet future at home, and alone. But an old enemy has come out of hiding, and Summer and her family have been targeted in a game of revenge. Enter Falcon and Raeg, the two men who are willing to walk way from the woman they love in order to protect their hearts and her soul. What ensues is the struggle to remain professional in the face of danger; and the battle between family and the path your heart has chosen.

The professional relationship between Summer, Falcon and Raeg has already been established prior to the story line premise. It is Summer’s decision to walk away that forces half-brothers Falcon and Raeg to go after the woman that calls to their heart-a woman they know they do not deserve. Raeg’s backstory is heartbreaking, and his love for Summer struggles with demons from his past. Falcon is a man determined to hold onto the woman they love for as long as possible even if is means walking away when their latest assignment is done. The $ex scenes are intimate, erotic and intense. There is plenty of palpable sexual energy between the leading characters, and some heartbreaking moments as Summer comes to terms with losing the men that she loves.

There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including all of Summer, Falcon, and Raeg’s extended families-all members or former members of the CIA, Special Ops or various covert government agencies.

INTENSE PLEASURE is a seductive story of three people who have fallen in love but refuse to admit their deepest desires. The premise is moving and stirring ; the romance is passionate, intimate and captivating; the characters are colorful and inspiring. INTENSE PLEASURE is a sexy and engaging tale from the pen of Lora Leigh.

I have read plenty of Lora Leigh books in the past and have really enjoyed them.

I am not going to lie, I was thorougly confuzzled for about the first 30% of Intense Pleasure. Sure, it was intense, and there was plenty of pleasuring going on, but it took me that long to really get my head around the dynamic of our trio - Summer, Falcon and Raeg.

And it may be just me, but I felt like I was coming in halfway through the story, or that this was part of a series that I hadn't read earlier parts of - but that is probably just my brain!

Once I got my head around who was who and what was what, I really got into the story.

It is a sexy, erotic, suspenseful story, full of twists and turns. It was a case of who was who, could you trust them, and what would happen with our confusing and loving trio.

There were some things that popped up near the end that had me confused again - but this may also have just been me.

I loved the vulnerability of the characters in their personal lives when they are such badasses professionally. And I adored the southern family dynamic that shines right on through the story.

I should've known better than to pick up this book for review. But I love Lora Leigh and this series holds fun memories for me. I used to love it! Sadly the book before this one was a DNF and I wish I would've listened to my gut feeling and not started this one. INTENSE PLEASURE does feature what Lora Leigh does best, two brothers sharing and loving the same woman and wanting to keep her for their own forever. Mixed in with that is a level of danger as there is something lurking in the backdrop that threatens the heroine and the big alpha man are meant to protect her.

There were things about this story I liked. Like I said above, Lora Leigh is good at making me feel on board with the brothers permanent menage trope. All without feeling icky. But then there is some over the top family drama that for me in this book may have gotten a bit too close to Jerry Springer-esque. Our heroine lets her family walk a bit over her and disrespect her and I found that out of character because she's supposed to be part of this group of badasses, so I couldn't quite connect the two aspects of her persona.

When it comes to the erotic part, yes, this is very hot. That is not an area where Ms. Leigh has ever had problems. But I feel at times, even that can start to feel like it follows a certain formula. The men being completely dominating and at times overbearing. Yes, they are alpha and they want things their way. And the woman ends up being a bit mousy and submissive. I have wanted to see more from this series for a while, and I'm not sure I'm going to get that.

When it came to the danger and the development of the story, this was also a bit of a let down. The ending was nicely and easily tied up with a bow.

So while INTENSE PLEASURE was sexually charged, it lacked depth and connection and it ultimately let me down. It made me wish for the days when I was reading about the hot twins in WICKED PLEASURE and hope that the story would grasp my attention like then.

I have wanted to see more from this series for a while, and I’m not sure I’m going to get that.

I found most of this book tedious to read due to the contentious relationship between Summer, Raeg, and Falcone. The 3 of them fighting got old fast, each one too proud to admit what they really wanted, too proud to reach for what they wanted. What made the whole book worth reading was the bit at the end with the family. So much wasn't what it seemed and the older generation had their own secrets they were hiding, secrets that might have made things easier for the "kids" had they shared.

This book gave me some major PTSD! I’ve enjoyed books like this in the past so that wasn’t what got me so… eww. It was the fact that the men WERE BROTHERS and banging the same girl TOGETHER. The main woman, Summer, is a former CIA agent, but she was so soft and weak, I don’t know how she would have made a great anything. Her family was delusional and did not depict what a real southern family was all about. The main men, Falcon and Raeg, were majorly turned on seeing each other pleasing Summer and that was not okay with me! And when Summer started talking about wanting their babies… AHH! Brother/Cousins. Just NO!

This is a sexy read and features M/F/M relationship/sex.

A CIA agent wants out but someone from her past is after her. Luckily for her 2 sexy men are happy be there to protect her, if she needs there help!

The characthers are good but I do feel I would have connected more if I'd read a couple of the previous books.

This book is a good read and the sex scenes are extremely hot and show Intense Pleasure!

I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

This was a long, drawn out story. I haven't read books in the series in order, but you don't really need to with this book. Despite the complexity of the story, you never really felt that you didn't know what was going on.

Summer's life is threatened by a Russian boss - Falcone and Raeg search her out to ensure that she remains unharmed. Their relationship with Summer is complex, strange, hidden and from afar all wrapped in to one.

Falcone is the more laid back of the two brothers. He has understood Summer and his desire/need for her for a while. What he doesn't know is whether or not he can walk away from her when the time comes. He knows, with his family history, that if he shows any weakness, it poses a threat to Summer - she is his weakness.

Then you have Raeg. He was definitely the more complex of the brothers. Hiding his feelings, suppressing them to the point where all he can do is push people away. He has lost someone in the past and knows that Summer would be in danger from their father, if she were to become a permanent part of their lives. However, he is becoming less and less able to hide his desires.

I thought that Summer was very fierce at the beginning and seeing her personality change when she was finally able to go home - that was somewhat strange, but a good change for her. The parties, I thought, were somewhat frivolous and unnecessary. I think that her family was well equipped to scare Falcone and Raeg off with their own ways.

I thought that Summer and Raeg had more chemistry and that the sex between the three of them was definitely hot. That being said, their relationship was not really developed that well. It was surface only. Even with the big reveal at the end, you never really got to see the relationship between the three of them develop in to a real relationship.

I am a huge Lora Leigh fan and was so excited to get my hands on this one. I have not read all of the books in the Bound Hearts series but that did not take away from this one at all. It can definitely be read as a standalone. That being said, Lora Leigh is a fantastic author and I strongly suggest reading all her other books. I know for me personally I will be downloading the ones I haven't had the chance to read. It has been a while since I have had the pleasure of reading Ms. Leigh's work and this one reminded me of how wonderful her writing is. She writes where there is the perfect balance between the sexy hotness and suspense. Lora Leigh is one of the first menage authors I have read and definitely one of my favorites because it isn't all about the sex but there is substance to her stories. Falcone and Raeg are completely different and that is what makes this story work. Summer is the object of their affection and personally I think together they all three make a whole. This story wouldn't work with just two of them. There is so much they have to work through and each of them have their issues. I absolutely LOVE the ending of this book. It couldn't have been better in my eyes. I definitely was a little shocked by a couple things that I am not going to spoil for you. All I can say is pick this book up and read it. I rate this one 5 AMAZEBALLS stars!!

I fell in love with this series back before it morphed into Bound Hearts. The men and women we read about all have complex natures and none more than Summer.

Summer is tired of living the life of an agent and of being nothing more than an irritant to Raeg and a toy to Falcon. Neither of the men seem to want her enough to bring her to their bed, either individually or together, no do they seem to want to let her out of their sight. She wants to go home, to become the Summer of old, and to find a place to ease her soul. Doing some is not as easy as it would seem, as both Raeg and Falcon are determined to keep her in DC with them.

Falcon and Raeg both want Summer, but Raeg has been traumatized by an act that has left him damaged and unable to show his love. Falcon doesn't believe that the same thing would happen again, but there is no convincing Raeg of that fact. But now that Summer's life is danger from an other faction, Raeg can't deny his feelings for Summer even though being with her could cost her his life. Falcon's feelings are more obvious and less threatening to Summer, while Raeg's intensity both scares and exhilarates her.

Once again, another great story of love and intrigue from Ms. Leigh.

This is one sizzling hot read. If you like a lot of tension, and a lot of super hot tension relievers, then this is for you!

It is part of a series, and I do think that it makes a lot more sense if you have the background to this trio's work and the tension between them. The situation is explained, but obviously not all the details. I think that knowing how tough Summer has been would make the difference when she is home much stronger. So my advice would be to read at least a few books earlier than this one if you can - I promise it is no hardship!

There is so much angst between Summer, Falcon and Raeg, and then unbelievable heat, followed by danger, and all manner of family complications. I loved the scenes between the men and Summer's father. I spent a lot of the book rather nervous that things were a bit precarious, and I did not see the ending coming at all - which made it even better than I had hoped.

I am looking forward to having the time to reread the series and know this will be a real treat at the end (for now).

You know, I've read all but two of the books in this series and those were two of the very early books that are out of print. This is after all one of my favorite menage series, but these last two books just haven't sat right with me. Intense Pleasure had all of the key elements I've come to expect from Leigh's writing, but the suspense was so lacking and the heroine was just...blah. I didn't like her and I didn't like the heroes either for that matter. And for three people who have spent their careers in danger working covertly, they were all so easily fooled by the bad guys it was almost to a comedic level. The pacing was sluggish and the plot was weak, but I will admit that the sex was pretty darn hot so it at least had that going for it. I just wished that the suspense elements were just as engaging as I've come to expect from Leigh's writing in the past. I think if you are just looking for a hot read, you may enjoy this. Unfortunately for me, I was expecting a bit more from this one and I just didn't get what I was looking for.

This was a good read. This story gets your attention right away and keeps it throughout the entire story. The sexual chemistry between these three, as well as the connection they all have, makes the sex scenes quite steamy. Danger brings them all back together, where a BDSM relationship ensues. They have all desired one another for quite a long time and now is finally the right time. There are other secrets going on as well as the danger. They have to jump over all of the obstacles in their lives in order to finally be together and get their HEA. Sometimes as stubborn as three were, I just wanted to smack them with my kindle. It also irritated me somewhat how easily they got away with their bad behavior by having sex, as opposed to apologizing and being forgiven. Overall, it was an enjoyable read.
I voluntarily reviewed and ARC of this book.

This review is based on the ARC received from the author and/or the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest opinion.

It was obvious that this was part of a series. If I was able to read the first 14 then I would have better understood the decisions of the characters. It didn't take long to be involved in THIS part of the series though. The author is very consistent in her excellent sultry menage. She doesn't disappoint. There is even quite a bit of action happening in the background of this novel.

Sinfully sexy M/F/M read that has an intense and complex storyline. Two brothers lusting after the same woman. A woman who has serious trouble trailing her. How much are these men willing to sacrifice to have her? This is part of the Bound Hearts series and while you don't have to have read the prior books to follow the story, I think it would have been helpful for me to connect more with these characters. Overall though, the story is good, the sexy times are HOT, and it's a book I would recommend to anyone who enjoys menage romance.

Intense Pleasure
Bound Hearts series

Lora Leigh represents book heaven for me. She was my introduction into erotic romance many years ago. The first time I read one of her books, I was flushed and my heart was hammering in my chest. All this time later, nothing has changed.

One thing I can always count on in a, Lora Leigh book is a complex plot line. Sure there's tons of steamy lovin', but there's a solid story filled with details. I love a book that really makes me think and pay attention. Intense Pleasure delivered on those things!

The chemistry between, Summer, Raeg, and Falcone ( yes, it's a delicious ménage story...woot! ) is palpable. There's so much desire and want sparking through the pages. The brothers are in lust and love with Summer, though they won't admit it. Summers heart is all but on her sleeve. The push and pull between the characters was constant throughout the book. There was a lot of internal conflict going on. They all had their baggage.

I found myself getting choked up on and off throughout this book. Lora Leigh writes emotional scenes like a boss! You know they want to be together, but there's so many obstacles standing in their way; at least that's what they believe. I wanted to shake them and tell them to get their shit together and just be with each other. When a book provokes that type of reaction from me, I know I'm reading something that is going to consume me until the very end.

I really liked, Summer's personality. She's fierce. She can take care of herself and kick ass while doing it. Raeg and Falcone would like nothing more than to wrap her in cotton and keep her completely sheltered. Ha! She's having none of that!

Despite the constant internal and out loud struggles between them, the bedroom antics are wickedly seductive, and will leave you breathless!

Like almost all of, Lora Leigh's novels, this one is full of spine tingling suspense that will keep you guessing until the end. And this is where all that detail comes into play. The amount of research regarding government agencies and the life of a spy or Russian mob hit man, must have been ridiculous. I'm no expert on any of these things, but it sure seemed accurate to me!

The one thing that left me feeling a little disappointed, was the fact that characters from previous books didn't make an appearance. I know they've had their story already, but I like a little glimpse of them after their happily ever after.

This book can be read as a stand alone. You wont feel left out of the loop. However, because the series rocks, you should totally read them all! Lora Leigh is an auto buy for me, and I don't anticipate that changing.

An outstanding addition to this series! I have been a big fan of Lora Leigh since the beginning of her Breed series, which has lead me to reading all the rest of her series and books. This particular series, Bound Hearts, is different from many of her novels because all of the 'couples' are trios. In that they are all about two men and one woman finding happiness in a committed three-way relationship. The reality of this is probably few and far between but it really works in these books.

We were introduced to Summer and Falcon in the previous book, Secret Pleasure. It was nice seeing Summer get a happy ending. It was an interesting road they were on, because there's still some fall out from Secret Pleasure that Summer needs some protection from. Raeg and Summer have some weird beliefs about each other that would take some major work getting over. And Raeg and Falcon have an interesting perception of their parents live and actions, but in the end everyone comes to a happy resolution.

I do still wonder sometimes. Although I am a fan of all romance novels having an HEA, the menage stories, which are becoming more common, very easily have family members and friends accept these weird circumstances. I like it, but the reality of it happening is also unlikely and frustrating.
