Truth Devour is the pen name of an Australian born author who has published works available through various online stores. The pen name Truth Devour was created from the authors life philosophy of devour thy own truth. It stood as a reminder that in a world filled with deception, misleads and lies one should consider ensuring never buying into a false portrayal of themselves. Lie if you must but never to yourself.

What a powerful follow up. Truth's ability to draw the reader in to the story, to completely immerse them and then to make it hard to return back to everyday life is a talent in itself. Insurrection got straight in to where it left off with a clever and short 'recap', which would make reading #2 as a one-off completely ok. The story/ journey was fast-paced, but at the same time seemed to take a step back at times to let the reader take the pause to really think about what was going on. Don't be fooled in to thinking that this would help in predicting what comes next as you read though- it won't. Harper, as the main character, is believable and balanced in her world of violence, mistrust, historical (and even future) influences and ultimate responsibility. She seems to 'hover' above it all and find that way to not only get through, but to grow at the same time.
Read Insurrection with caution- you will have that moment where you find that line between a book and your own reality blurred, even if just for a moment....
Truth Devour has once again created another amazing piece of literature. Overall, I felt that I was right alongside Harper in her struggles and revelations. As the reader, I had to keep my mind open to abstract thoughts and patterns, looking for any clues to what might happen next.
In this series, I have found myself more interested in the stories that Harper reads about her past lives than I do about Harper and her current life. It is, in my opinion, the most intriguing portion of the books, Illuminarium and Insurrection. Though Truth does a fine job with both sides of the story. I look forward to the next installment.
The only downside was I found that there a few, three to be exact, overly crude scenes. This was the only reason it did not receive a perfect score.
In a world where the past manipulates the present we become mere pawns as the truth is hidden.

Along the way she learns more about herself and things she never remember from her childhood. The strange birthday gifts and people along the way What is the meaning behind all of it and what is her purpose? An interesting segment along the way in the se

Book 2 in the Soliloquy's Labyrinth Series sees Harper continuing her journey to fulfilling her requirements and ascending to be with her true love all while learning about the struggle of another reincarnation that her love face in ascending. She also faces the interferons head on and learns that the consequences are great when they bring back Vernon Wreath to enact revenge. The series is masterfully written, well researched and thought out. You are instantly drawn in and you can't help but think about the conspiracy that is taking place in Harper's life. It's an intriguing read.
