I read the book Gladiator Island; the Arrival by Corey O'Nell, a fiction book. I enjoyed reading this book because is a immigrant story

The story is about a teenager boy who is a troublemaker, hates school and he doesn’t like to play any sports. His mom and dad told him to clean his room but he doesn’t listen to them. His only favorite thing to do is going outside with his friend . One day Reed Mackenzie’s parents sent him to a ship out for three month rehab programs. Reed was so happy because he wanted to stay away from his parents and he didn’t care about them. The ship sent him to a mysterious island. Him and the other kids were confused; they thought it was part of the ship out program.

In conclusion, I picked this book because the title was interesting .

gory, gratuitous language. PG-13 for sure, did not finish the series, might cross over to R if the author adds any sex.

An interesting new series combining the attributes of gladiator fighting and "Survivor." Troubled teen Reed is sent out on a ship-out program for his drinking and psychological problems. The conditions are tough and abusive, but then a twist unfolds that leaves him fighting for his lives and the lives of his new friends.
