It's a good intro for younger readers (elementary/middle school) on the subject of information literacy. It briefly goes over the history of literacy within the United States, the birth of the internet, how search engines/social media works, some tips on how to do good research, and the overall importance of information literacy within today's digital world. Perhaps for older readers who wish for a more in depth look into this topic, you may want to search elsewhere.
A good though brief intro into information literacy topics. Written for a YA audience, but also valuable for adults; it isn't written with a juvenile tone. Text is broken up with photos as well as sidebars and quotes. Covers the history of literacy, including the growth of accessibility with the changes in technology, the power of sharing in the digital world as well as touching on fair use, and of course finding and evaluating information.
