A fast and interesting introduction in zen and meditation. Though short, its enough to give you a starting point from which you can follow your own path. Being comprised of different types of meditations, koans(short stories), haikus(poems), paintings, gardening tips, and even cooking tips, it has a decent re-read value as a workbook.

Pengenalan cukup singkat tentang Zen disertai ilustrasi ilustrasi yang bikin mata sejuk.

Teknik ala Zen : merasakan setiap tarikan nafas meditasi, persis latihan saraf serotonin Prof Hideho untuk menghilangkan stress.

Apa itu sebenarnya esensi Zen? trus dikasi contohnya di buku ini daaaaan...anjir gak ngerti ..tapi kayak kata prinsip Koan, kalau gak ngerti yaudah nanti kalau udah saatnya bakal ngerti ngerti sendiri karena Zen lebih ke state of mind.

Trus bahas menyusun halaman ala Zen (yah maybe someday bakal dicoba)
Bahas menyusun bunga ala Zen (Ng...kayaknya sih gak bakalan aku coba ya..bukan panggilan jiwa)
Memasak ala Zen : masak nasi, bumbu balance dan jangan buang2 makanan jadi makan secukupnya (woilah ini mah sudah tiap hari, asian people gitu loh)

Zen in the art of Tea, perhatikan setiap momen, warna teh nya, bentuk uapnya, aromanya..wah ini sudah aku lakukan sih, bener2 bikin relax..ini harus kulakukan sebelum menghadapi hari hari gila di kantor and it's work!!

Belajar membaca dan memaknai Haiku
Coba bikin 1 ah :

Daun teh dalam keramik
Bersama dengan panasnya air
Dari kosong menjadi isi

Overall Good cuma informasinya terlalu sedikit padahal bukunya cukup seru.

This was one of my quarantine readings. Hehe. The book was more of a brief guide on living and practicing a “zen” life on a day to day basis. It’s quite helpful if you are new to the whole concept. You can pick up some of the methods mentioned in the book if you are willing to live a calmer and a peaceful life. Well in my case I was truly intrigued to learn about zen gardens. I was so entranced from the whole concept and the story behind it. And now I’m in the process of creating my own miniature zen garden. Also the book comes with a really nice cover. Hehe :)

Not for me. Picked up this book from the library because the cover is beautiful. Didn't find this book useful for anything of I'm honest, but that's just me!
