Kindled by Fate #3

Dragon Marked

Rate this book
As he watches over the sleeping dragon, Bane wonders why he is strongly drawn to Jaden. Vivid dreams confuse him even more as he aches to see the dragon break free of the spell he is trapped by. When Jaden is finally liberated, and Bane realizes that they are mates, he vows to stay by Jaden’s side. But he fears the repercussions of a witchborn with a dark past being mated to the High Priest of Drakos.

Jaden arises from the spell, healthy but no longer whole. While he is determined to stay strong, he wonders what good is he. Somehow he will have to prove to his clutch and more importantly, to himself, that he is still worthy of being the chosen of Drakos.

Yet the hardest battle he will face may be the fight for his own mate’s heart, for while Bane has given Jaden his loyalty and commitment, he may never give his heart. How can a man who has never known love recognize it, even when it stands before him?

ALL THE STARS FOR THIS AMAZING BOOK!

EEEEEEEK I just LOVED the latest installment in the Kindled by Fate series - each book is better than the previous, and I think right now Bane and Jaden are my favorite couple in the series. I just loved everything about them, both as individual characters, and as a couple. They had insanely good chemistry, a little bit of kink thrown in, and still kept it romantic as hell. I mean, Jaden really wanted to court Bane....ahhhh, so sweet! Their shared dreams, all the "firsts" they got to share together, the support that they had for each other when one of them was worried about any shortcomings...it was just incredibly romantic.

I also love how this author introduces new characters and upcoming couples so seamlessly, and still gives us moments with the couples from the previous books. Looks like Devros and Galen will be next, and I can't wait. And I want those babies to be born! (Note, Bane and Jaden are not the reason why the mpreg tag is being used here, but it is discussed and overall baby plot is advanced). And the overall plot is advanced in this too, and I look forward to learning even more about this world of dragons.

In summary - I love this series and I recommend it to fantasy, dragon shifter, magic lovers!

Oh, and WHEN IS THE 4TH BOOK COMING OUT?! :D

Okay so not gonna lie I read this about a month ago but it was easier just to say that it was today that I read it lol. But I did read it in a day and it was also the first thing I did when I woke up that day because this series is one of my favorites. I ADORE all of these characters. And they keep developing through out the series! Even though each book focuses on a set of new characters (or old characters that are getting their own stories) they others that have been previously seen are still developing and trust me that is not easy to do but also incredibly draining. But so worth it. Sooooooo worth it. Once again I am not going to go into details because I am going to make you go out and buy the book so you will know the amazingness I speak of. But you wont regret it. Not a single bit.

Excellent

I thoroughly enjoyed this take of a Dragon and his witchborn mate. The characters were well written, the story intriguing, and there was a nice but of heat. Looking forward to more.

This is a story of healing and strength. That one can overcome disability and still be worthy. It is not a long story but I enjoyed seeing Bane and Jaden together. I look forward to the next book.

Great addition to this series

Each book in this series just gets better than the last. I was, once again, not expecting the revelation at the end, which added to the thrill of the story. I would have liked to learn more about Bane than what we got here-especially about his past with his mother and the repercussions of that relationship. Instead, this book focused mainly on Jaden and his recovery from, and handling of, the loss of a leg in the last book.
