This story grips you from the very first line and doesn’t let go. The idea of a husband so desperate to save his wife that he sacrifices his own soul is both heartbreaking and mesmerizing. What follows, a century and a half later is a chilling collision of past and present that feels both tragic and inevitable.

I really enjoyed this reading by the author. Its a very strong story. The story held my attention from start to finish, and I really enjoyed the characters. I liked that the author took the time to read her story, the personality behind it really moved this read along.

I was quickly lured in by the Pagan aspects of this paranormal thriller, which has captured the laws of witchcraft so beautifully. Dead Sleep is an incredible story of a doctor who discovers that his wife has been struck down by her own dark magick, with his grief not only sending him insane but causing him to attempt an unjust retribution. Casey and Declan are the best of friends; I found myself shaking my head many times at Declan being so blind to Casey’s true feelings. Masterfully written, T. Lynne Tolles has blended two different eras into one, with so much intricate detail that I could easily picture myself standing there, watching in real time as each event unfolded. Ever mind the rule of three; what goes out, thrice comes back to thee. Good magick, dark magick, jealousy, lust and greed are the ingredients to this epic novel, which I recommend to mature readers who enjoy their paranormal tales with a touch of romance.

Great story about the past and the present colliding. Once you start this book, it is really hard to put down. This book has suspense, romance, and adventure with a paranormal twist. Declan is a well off adventurer that takes lots of risks, luckily he has Casey to help clean up his messes. Declan falls into the path of Kat, who is wearing dated clothes and has no recollection of who she is. Kat seems so perfect but looks can be deceiving.
