This astonishing book has been one of the most important books in my spiritual journey. The author, almost totally blind when she wrote it, did massive amounts of research into ancient Judaic practices, and also into the "mystery schools" of Jesus' time. She wrote of Jesus "lost years" in the first person, taking on his personality, his questions, doubts, fears and immaturity. Ms. Pevehouse BECAME Jesus to do so, with heart-rending, breathtaking beauty and sensitivity.
I love to contemplate the various ideas people have about what Jesus and his life were like, because he becomes so much more human in the process. He becomes one of us, instead of the image of perfection the Christian church wants us to fall for. This book, along with Christopher Moore's "Lamb" make Jesus infinitely more loveable and even more follow-able.

This is the author's first publishing--unbelievably beautiful. A very different take on the life of Jesus, filling in those "lost years" the Four Gospels say nothing about.

A fantastic book. Now everything is clear. We must make our choices. All the answers are within us.
