For years, and in countries around the world, supernatural enthusiasts have turned to the Ouija board for their first glimpse of what lies beyond—a dimension where ghosts, spirits, demons, and devils roam free. With such a long and diverse history, it’s unsurprising that Ouija has thrown up some interesting experiences. To some, it’s just a bit of fun; a spooky parlor game to pass the time with friends. For others, however, the terrifying encounter haunts them for a lifetime; an experience never to be forgotten. These people would instantly erase their experience, if only they could… Haunted Ouija Boards dives into some of the scariest encounters, giving us a spooky glimpse into the paranormal world—the book is filled with true stories from non-believers, believers, and Spiritualism fanatics, giving you a wide range of sources. Disturbing tales of lingering ghosts, ominous warnings, and implausibly correct predictions for the future are contained within. As we dig deeper, though, the stories become darker—demonic encounters, spirits physically attacking houseguests, and even the Ouija board becoming the motivation for murder. Never underestimate the powerful entities that the Ouija board can connect you with. As well as the compilation of terrifying true tales, Haunted Ouija Boards highlights just how dangerous this “simple board game” can be, and how to enjoy it safely—if that’s even possible. Haunted Ouija Boards will challenge skeptics to become believers. All of this, made possible by one board, with 26 letters, ten numbers, and a few simple words. And a little help from the spirit world, of course. Ready to scare yourself senseless? Scroll to the top of the page and hit buy!
An internet search of Ouija stories would provide you with the same thing that his book does. In fact I felt like this was literally how the book was written. There are some good stories but there is no investigation or fact checking. Simply short blurbs about different encounters. Pass on this one.
This was ... ok. I do believe in the paranormal, that's not the issue. Some of these stories sound made up, even with an agenda. It was a nice read. Not sure I believe it all, but it was a nice read.
Disappointing. Although the stories are interesting, the recurring issue is that each builds to anti-climax, promising some form of conclusion, something we can draw on. But, they don’t arrive.
The seemingly factual encounters of otherworldly entities, demonic beings, and benevolent spirits are all brought to life in this novel by Zachery Knowles. More of a warning than a entertaining read; his book has us riveted, provoking us to think twice before using a Ouija board. And if you're unsure of the risks? Try telling that to the characters that endured torment and fear when curiosity made them unwittingly conjure up a demon, or tormented spirit.
This novel will have you on edge, and make you think twice before using the Ouija board at parties for entertainment - because entertainment they are not.
This collection of Ouija stories has a good assortment of examples of why we shouldn't use the board, ever. I've had experiences of my own that I could add. In the end, curiosity can get the best of us. But, never fool yourself into thinking it's just a harmless game.
This was a real true creepy read about Ouija boards that our haunted. It gave me the willies and makes me not to want to fool around with these boards. I gave it five stars as it kept me riveted and I didn't want to put it down. Would have read it faster, but I was reading something else at the same time.
Thanks for taking the time to collect all of these accounts and compile them into a awesome book. It was great I could not put it down. I love reading about the paranormal.
Amazing! Gave me slight chills, but i learned all about Ouija,... please read!! Again..awesome wonderful book i felt like this book was another world!!
Its one of those books where I feel like I'm in another world, deserves 5☆☆☆☆☆, i got lost in interest, and quriosity.
I am writing from the perspective of a Christian demonologist and spiritual deliverance minister with experience with the occult and the dangers of communicating with evil spirits. I have battled evil spirits and know the doorways to evil that are opened when using a ouija board. I found this short book to be interesting but too many of the intriguing tales had no closure. I would have liked less stories but more depth. The tales about the demon of the ouija board, contacting the devil, and when spirits attack were the most chilling. Mr. Knowles does provide enticing narratives but more depth and detail about the impact of these negligent dabbling with the ouija board would improve this book. If one is going to focus on the evil of the ouija board then a full-blooded picture of the evil and the divine resolution is required. Overall, I found this book interesting but it could have been more. I encourage the author to flesh out some the stranger tales with caution.

This is nothing more than a collection of stories taken from the internet (mostly Reddit or Creepypasta dot com). The only thing the author did was add some cheesy "warning" texts before each session of the book, apart from that, he just summarized tales that you can find online.
The worst part is that the original stories are much better written and far more engaging, especially because Knowles took whole chunks out of several accounts.
Do yourself a favor: save your money and just search Ouija Board on the NoSleep and/or Creepypasta subreddits, you'll have a much better time and it'll be free.
This book is a collection of stories of the awful things that happen when people play around with Ouija boards. The stories are interesting, but way too short. They also don't relate very much about what happens afterwards, which is just as important. Many of these ended without a resolution, I hope that will be added in another version. I read this book using immersion reading, while listening to the audiobook. The narrator did a wonderful job with a clear concise voice.
Ok I will never play with a Ouija board just because I heard it can be a portal. Reading these incidents though, some of them sound made up, especially the stories with kids only. For them to be able to recall every detail while in fear seems far fetched. I still will never play with one because I believe you can get an evil spirit who would pose as a deceased loved one.
I am a true believer and a deeply spiritual person. I have never and nor will I ever partake in playing with any kind of spirit board. But if I ever did contemplate playing Ouija, this book would have definitely changed my mind, that’s for sure!! This book was extremely enjoyable to read and the stories are just awesome. I loved every page. It is also well written, no spelling or grammar errors. I will be searching for more Zachery Knowles books.
It was a good book with a lot of background on the board itself and the stories surrounding things that has happened to people both believers and skeptics alike. Now this book doesn't cover every single meeting or seance with a board. Out of all the True Ghost Stories books I didn't like this one as much as the others but still liked it none the less.
I wish some of the stories had been expanded upon, and it feels like some were just...cut off right when they started to get interesting. Another thing that didn't make me really enjoy this book was that some of the stories just sounded like the author had made them up, and that's coming from someone who believes in the paranormal.
Decent, quick read if you find this sort of thing interesting.
This reads like a super cheesy after school special series. Really basic, no finesse. I’m uncertain of the validity of the stories BUT I can say that these stores scared me. That’s why I’m giving a 3 star rating rather than 2.
I've always had an interest in the paranormal but kept well away from the spirit board because of the danger they pose. This book gives some interesting stories from those who have used the spirit board and had good and bad results from it.
Enjoyed listening to what I see as cautionary tales into the unknown. Kept my daughter and I entertained for the whole book. Even downloaded the audiobook.
This book read more for a teenager. It definitely didn't peak a well read, middle aged reader such as myself. This being said, I think all pass on his other books.
