I won’t lie, Manacle made me cry. Maybe it’s my current state, maybe it’s Bella’s never-fail writing. Whatever it is, I fell hard and fast for Danny and Skye. Their story was so real, so hard and so heartbreaking for me. I loved every moment spent with them all from the very beginning.
You see, Bella is my sure thing. I know when I need a book that will lift me up, break me down, and bring me back, she’s who I need to go to. This time was even more perfect.
Danny has loved Skye his whole life. She’s loved him back. But just because you love someone doesn’t mean you don’t dream of other things. This is Danny and Skye. Two people who love each other hard but when one person has dreams of seeing the world, their world comes crashing down.
The chemistry is off-the-charts. The angst left tears flowing from my eyes before I was even aware of it. This is the book where love flows and you’re always rooting for it—even when the characters can’t see it.
This isn’t your typical motorcycle club book. It’s so much more. It’s the story of how a family becomes a family and protects each other at all costs.
Maybe it’s time I start from scratch! ~ Heather, 5 Perfect stars

Welcome to the next book in a must read series! If you loved the first generation of bikers, you will fall head over feet for the second generation!
When you grow up in the world of bikers, you are accustomed to how things work. You also know fairly early on if that is the life you want to live.
Skye has loved Danny for her whole life. She would do almost anything for him, except become an old lady. She knows the dangers associated with the club and refuses to “settle” for that type of lifestyle.
Danny has been groomed to be the next president. He loves his life, and he also loves Skye, so when she wants nothing more to do with the club, it’s hard for him to process.
This series just gets better and better with each book. I am so in love with Danny and Skye and their journey, I have already marked it as one book I will make sure to revisit when I need to forget the real world. Even if you have not read the rest of the series, you will be able to enjoy this book with minimal confusion. ~ Devlynn, 4.5 stars

“We belong together—you fuckin’ know it. I can give you it all, Skye. I can give you everything you want. I can take you around the world. I can give you babies. I can give you your white fuckin’ picket fence.”
I’ve wanted to read about Skye and Danny since Pandemonium. Not knowing what was happening with them made me so much more interested to get their book. I needed to know what was going on!
Skye and Danny are at a standstill with their friendship/relationship because they want different things in their life. Danny wants to be the President of the MC while Skye wants to travel the world and not be an old lady. They’re neither of them willing to give up what they believe they want in their future for each other.
Starting this book I didn’t know what I would be getting into. Skye and Danny want each other but they realize that they can’t be together because of their own wants, and that made for an interesting story of them pushing each other away despite being miserable without the other.
I was addicted to reading this book, wanting to find out what would happen, as it seemed like they were always surprising me with their actions—both with each other and on their own. I have to say, while I enjoyed reading this book, Skye got on my nerves. After a few of her questionable decisions, I no longer felt too bad for the situation she got herself in. Her decisions made me shake my head and want to tell her to get her head out of her a** so she could be actually be happy with Danny. Despite my slight annoyance with Skye, the book was still interesting and enjoyable.
While they had some questionable moments, they also had some great ones together. Even though their romance took a while to shape up, they had always been friends first and, even when times were tough between them, they still had that friendship deep down. No matter what happened, Danny was always there to rescue Skye from whatever she got into.
It was great to catch up with the MC and see how their lives have been playing out. I’m intrigued by the new things happening, and I’m interested in seeing how things will play out in future books.
Bella Jewel was able to write yet another MC romance that kept me flipping the pages ‘til the end. I look forward to reading the next book in this series. I hope it’s Max’s book! ~ Leah, 4 stars
