Even Though I'm Married: A Tale of Temptation
From the outside looking in Tiada Sinclair has it all. She’s beautiful andtalented and married to a wonderful man named Dre. They aresuccessful business owners. She owns Urban Diva, one of Atlanta’s most popular salons and Dre owns a lucrative landscaping business.Together they own a beautiful house and nice cars and she’s use to the finer things. It’s the life most women dream of. However, things aren’t as perfect as they seem. Tiada really wants children and when she and Dre find out that may not be possible, he becomes withdrawn from the marriage sending their relationship in a downward spiral. He starts pouring all of his extra time into his job and leaves little to no time for their marriage. Naturally Tiada wants to work on the marriage and mend what’s broken, but Dre won’t open up. His neglect leaves her feeling vulnerable and when she is presented with a business opportunity from one of her clients, she soon realizes just how much she is lacking in her marriage. Temptation presents itself in the worst way and she indulges in a taste of it. Will Tiada be able to pull herself from the grips of temptation or will she indulge too much, leaving her world crumbling around her?

Great Read
For this to be the authors first book, it was good. I hate that Tiada stepped out on her marriage instead of being patient and working on it. I thought Tiffany was truly a great friend but, I was way off on that one. Bring on part 2!

Hot!
Now that was hot! I don't condone adultery but that was a good read! I really liked the characters and storyline. I do recommend!

Killing me softly!! PLEASE READ ENTIRE REVIEW!!
This book has me deep in my feelings...I had to keep putting it down and I found myself just wishing it would end! I couldn't understand why nor who gave Ms. Smoothe the right to tell MY STORY in such a way. How dare she??!! I felt like Lauryn Hill's Killing me softly song...it's one thing to experience the in's and out's up's and downs of marriage but then to read it and the story gives you an entirely different point of view my goodness! Ms. Smoothe you did a great job of penning A REAL STRUGGLING MARRIAGE!!! I understood Tiada so much, although I do believe her route was wrong...she gave up and checked out on her marriage and her husband. Even when Dre did put forth an effort she emasculated him repeatedly. Her quest for what she felt she was missing caused her to completely overlook what her husband was doing to be better, he was actually trying. She allowed her pain from the situation to make her selfish. She also was 100% wrong for telling Dre's friend their business. Dre should of opened up to his wife more, there were ways he could have done so without revealing what he was planning. Men aren't taught that it's okay for them to open up and express themselves but at some point as an adult you have to stop living off of what you were taught as a child. I really felt bad for Dre cause I don't doubt that he loves his selfish wife. Don't get me wrong they BOTH were wrong though! Tiffany was a snake from page one. I don't like her at all, although Tiada was wrong and you are to correct your friend's Tiffany's advice seemed to stem from jealously because even when Dre was wrong she was all for him. I BELEIVE Bo is code for Dre! If the incident happened as Dre said then Tiffany has been eyeing him for some time and Tiada needs to check her with a high five in the face!! I DON'T TRUST ADONIS!! I think he's a pimp and trying to turn Tiada out!!! I pray the baby is Dre's and that they work things out! Ms. Smoothe awesome job I can't wait for part 2...I won't lie and say this was a easy read (that's not a bad thing it's really good), it was hard to read because I lived this! You did an amazing job penning a reality that so many are so afraid to talk about. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this story!!!! #CCCMember

This is a very very good start to I'm sure will be an excellent writing career for Ms. Denise Smoothe. I would rate this book 4.5 stars if I could. I took off a half star because it was too damn short. LOL. This story was so intriguing. I so HATED Tiana. Believe me, I understand that she was unhappy about where her marriage was with Dre at the moment. They were in a "rough" patch. I get that. Marriage isn't always rainbows, sunshine and cupcakes. Marriages aren't always perfect. Instead of being patient and fighting for her marriage, she couldn't wait to spread her legs for the next man. The very first time she met Adonis, she wanted to have sex with him. I absolutely HATE her. Now, Dre did enough on his own to cause damage to their marriage as well. He made plenty of mistakes. Even so, his love for his wife never faltered. He loved Tiana with all of his heart. Tiana on the other hand, gave up on her marriage a long time ago. She kept saying that she still loved Dre, but if you love someone, you would never do what she was doing. It didn't take Adonis long at all to make her his b#*ch. I hope nothing good comes out of anything they try to have together. They both deserve to rot in hell. I can't wait for part two because I think Adonis is about to make her life a living hell. I really hope Dre never looks her way again. He deserves so much better than a trifling wife like Tiana.

Tiada has been married to Andre for some years now and it has hit some bumps in the road. She has tried talking to her husband about fixing things but like some MEN he has fallen prey to da there's nothing wrong and you just tripping type deal. She has tried talking to him about going to counseling which was an even bigger NO NO!!!! I have to give her props not saying it's right but ole girl warned him if "u don't get it together brother I don't know how much I can take before......" Welllllllll, in walks Mr. Adonis into her hair salon one day andddddddddd..,... Tiada, confides in her besties Tiffany whom is more like a sister to her and she is sooooo team Dre that it starts to send Tiada on a fishing expedition. And then there's Chris I just love him he's Tiada assistant and he's her true ride or die hut he's been thru sooooo much. Great story, great LOVE STORY!!!!! Can't wait for part 2!!!!!! Hurry I need to know what happens Ms. Denise Smoothe.

This book was great ! This is something women deal with everyday. I only hate the fact that she checked out on her marriage even when he was trying and told her these reason he neglected her. I can relate to this in more ways than one. He made a mistake and was man enough to not do it again. I hope she gets it together. For some reason I don't trust Adonis. Hmmmm I need part 2

This was my first read by this author and I was hooked from the beginning through to the end. The characters were well written and the mixed feelings in addition to the turmoil in their relationships was written realistically and interestingly.

GIRL Denise Smoothe......your last name didn't lie.... That was a Smoothe read. OMG... I was so taken with this story.... I cant even explain how much I enjoyed this series. A little too much

This story got to me on so many levels. It was a great read and I could relate to it 100%. Every woman meds to read this book. Loved it. On to part 2.

Very good fast paced read. Tiada has a lot going on, I hope she chooses wisely. Great drama! Planning to read part 2 soon
