Kenrick Royce. Say it with me, darling.

I could not have chosen a more fitting moniker for myself if I tried. It means ROYALTY, and that's what I effing royalty. And don't you forget it.

As the soon-to-be king of my castle, I'm used to getting whatever I desire. All I've ever had to do is flash my panty-dropping accent, famous last name or hard washboard abs, and I can get any fair maiden in the land waiting on me hand, foot... and mouth .

Now that Addie has moved into the palace, I have to change my whole game. She doesn't think that I'm "good" enough for her – can you believe that?!

I am the future king, after all, and I won't stop until she's in my bed , under my rule...

Please call me Addie.

My full name is Adelaide, but that's much too fancy for a commoner like me. And a commoner is what I would like to stay.

I never wanted to be a princess... one of "those" people who feel entitled to everything through their birthright, like that royal S.O.B., Kenrick . God, he's soo full of himself!

And he expects me to be impressed.

Well, I'm not. I don't care if he's a prince. A man who can buy me anything I desire. He's only looking for a good time... He'll give me a mind-blowing you-know-what , but never his heart.

At least, that's what I thought ...

Royal S.O.B. is a stand-alone, 60,000+ word bad boy romance with a HEA and ZERO cliffhangers.

I just finished reading Royal S.O.B. (A Bad Boy Romance) what a PERFECT name for the title, but an description of Kenrick. This was definitely a whirlwind roller coaster! It's full of emotions you wouldn't expect from a Royal, however Kaitlyn did a great job expressing those ideas. I felt like I was right there along for the ride. This is the first book by Kaitlyn I've read, but it won't be the last. I enjoyed her writing style and imagination. I gave her 4 stars for this HEA story. Although Kenrick is sexually aggressive with the hired help, they seem to enjoy the act itself so I didn't think it was abusive or unwanted.
Kenrick an only child is a spoiled prince who has always had everything handed to him, if not he greedily takes it. He's a womanizer who doesn't think twice about how he treats the women he beds, they are inconsequential; it's all about him. That is until his father the King takes a commoner wife to be his Queen, she brings along a 20 year old daughter who becomes a princess and his stepsister instantly.
Adelaide's (Addie) perfect middle class life is completely turned upside down when her mother an English teacher is chosen to wed the king. The king's health requires a woman's presence in the royal household, one that would oversee the affairs of the royal family and personally look into issues concerning the king and his son. Addie an only child and her mother shared a deep bond with no secrets between them until she became inaccessible due to her royal duties.
How does the womanizing prince react to a commoner that became princess who is not excitedly impressed? How does the commoner thrown into royalty handle the loneliness and pressure from now being thrown into the royal family? Can they find common ground or do they stay on their own sides of the castle? Will either change? You'll have to read to find out! Due to explicit sexual content and adult language this novel is recommend for readers 18 and older. I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review! I also purchased a copy as well.

Prince Kenrick pretty much does what he wants at any second he wants it, that includes woman and he doesnt give them the chance to say yes or no. What he says goes, every time. That is until he meets his new step-sister Adelaide the new Princess by marriage of their parents. Addie is a commoner and doesnt take easily to this new life, where appointment's are made, and her life with a governess etc. She is a bright young woman who puts her studies on top of everything, until things change and her heart wants what her heart wants and that is Prince Kenrick.

What I enjoyed most about Royal S.O.B. is watching a playboy who has counted every conquest he has ever had and throw them pretty much away after he has had his fun, to change into a Man that is admirable to be the upcoming King of his Country. Kenrick will go through alot of changes and growing, and he has Addie that opened that up in him to do better. Watching both Addie and Kenrick become friends again after all the troubles that has come along the way.

This book is good, if you like Royal stories, with a Playboy Prince who thinks that he granted anything he wants, but things change when one woman will tell him no for the first time in his life. A story of a Woman who is really smart and puts her self out there, and will try to better her Country with her new resources. Then a Prince who also wants to start Charities as well, while she thinks he does it spit of her's but it isnt what she thinks. If you like stories like this, then Royal S.O.B. is a must!!

Er...

According to the title, Royal SOB ===> Son Of Bitch... Yep... The Hero really an asshole... Forget about his royalty, forget about his atribute. His behaviour is really sucks...

When I read this story, I hope I can find the girl is a tough girl... But...

Until the end, I hope to find something wow... But? Er... Just like that? Really? No more?

Prince Kendrick was exactly as the title described through most of the book, a total spoiled brit. His attitude sucked, treated women like trash and generally was about as unlikeable as you can get.

Adelaide was his exact opposite. A commoner, elevated to royalty when her mother married the king, she was thrust into the place and a life of protocols she neither seemed to fully understand or care for. She despised her new stepbrother almost as much as she later came to love him.
Through their relationship, Addie forced Kendrick to look at the kingdom, and his role within it, with new eyes. The reader grows to like his character, much as you imagine the kingdom embraces those changes within him as well.

The characters were likeable and well-developed and I really enjoyed this story. I was glad to see that the epilogue got added on because it tied up the book so much nicer in the end.

When reading about the book I was thinking arrogant prince has to change his ways in order to woo his soon-to-be step-sister. I love reading about alpha males and strong, smart women. This book was not that.

The prince is an A class a**hole and forces members of the staff to engage in sex acts for fear of them being fired by the prince. He doesn't feel remorse and his only true friend can't believe he did it either.

Step sister Addie is smart and finishing up college. She falls for his charms and gets royally hurt.

Didn't like this book. I kept hoping it would get better, seem maybe a tad bit more believable, but nope. Even when the author emailed out an epilogue I was like "really? that's how it ends?" Had potential but fell short. ...plot, characters, all of it could have been way better.

DNF.

Oh wow. Where do I start?

First, I feel bad for giving a low rating. I know how much work and effort the author has exerted to publish a book. It must have felt like a great accomplishment when the book was finished. But Royal S.O.B was not really for me. I read the reviews, mostly bad ones, but I pushed through because I like stories with royalty. I have only reached Chapter 20 and after that, I just skipped a lot and read the epilogue to find out what happened between Kenrick and Addie.

Second, I am not really a fan of third person point of view.

Lastly, Your Royal Highness, is really a son of a b... Like really. After the assault, I thought I can handle reading a few more, hoping Kenrick will change but I just can't. Especially the dumping after the banging. What even was that?

I am sorry but this is not worth reading.

I wanted to hate it because really I just didn't feel it. The characters were developed individual but as a couple I felt like they did not click. What kept me reading on was their inner thoughts, they gave me insight others all would have been lost and the epilogue. 2.5 Stars, so much potential just feel like I it wasn't delivered like it promised to be, it's like an classical old fashioned aloof romance try to be contemporary and failing.

Wanted to love it but really I was confused but I'm a softy for a happy ending although abit rushed for my last, definitely a after thought from the author but better really it was more personal.

This is my first book by this author and  even though I didn’t finish THIS story,  it was not to my taste. It is not to say that it was a bad book -- It was not my preference and this shouldn't count against the author, I'm a nerdy habitual reader with specific taste!!

Not as good as the title

The book had a great plot, but it dragged greatly. I rarely say this but it was a hard read, I bored greatly with the characters due to the lack of development, and the way the chapters were broke down was hard to follow sometimes

OK, I could only manage to read 25% of this book. It was that bad. Too many inconsistencies. This appears to be the author's 1st book. Hopefully she will continue, but I am not sure I will read any more of her stories.
