Right from creation, the angels of God have been playing prominent role in the affairs of men. They have been involved in wars and battles to defend and protect God’s people and God’s interests on earth.
Revelation chapter 12 revealed the first war in heaven involving the angels that were obedient and subject to the LORD God Almighty and the angels that were followers of angel Lucifer, who later became Satan, an enemy and opposer of God and the godly. The scripture says that Lucifer was defeated by Angel Michael and was cast out of heaven with his host. And down here on earth the battle has been on going as far man and God are concerned.
