I thoroughly enjoyed reading this super short story. Morneau shares his personal journey of prayer for himself, family, friends eventually co-workers and beyond. He realized how powerful prayer is and it soon became his purpose for living. Though he suffered various ailments, hardships in his personal life, prayer made him stronger and gave him hope and success in every area of his life.

Truly inspirational, motivational and direct.

As christians we neglect to see that we may have problems but so does our brother/sister. And seeking the needs of your brother does not mean that you are neglecting our own, but simply showing that we love. Intercessory prayer in itself is an unselfish act of love, seeking divine help/healing for someone who probably just dont no how to seek it for themselves.

It help me to understand the order in which I am to present my request to God as appose to just saying " God I need money", "God I want a house", God I need/want, this that and the other. It brings home the point that the relationship with our Lord is paramount to all our needs, because these material things cannot and will not bring us happiness. The more of Christ we input in our lives, the more we see the things that we crave for are of no consquence to our salvation.

I was truly blessed.
I feel like I can read it all over again

Every once in a while, I find myself going back to Morneau - his books, his interviews, his life - and feel the need to read a bit of him every day. Few people have the background and experience, not to mention the Biblical literacy, to articulate the practical need to live as members of YHWH’s kingdom in the spiritual reality of this world. A lot of Christian books try to be inspirational. What I love about Rodger Morneau is that he is USEFUL.

Roger Morneau's stories about his life remind me that when we are spending a lot of time in prayer and immersed in the truth of Jesus and have a bold faith that God will act in our lives the same way He did in the lives of people in the Bible, we will see spectacular divine intervention in very specific situations in our lives. I feel much more confident in God's working in my life after I read this book. I recommend reading it once a year to get back on track.

I bought this book shortly after I heard the author speak. I am awed by the stories and was very upset when the book ended. It is so amazing, that even with the history he had (deep in spiritualism)-- God managed to use him in glorious ways, now if only we could grasp the power of prayer the way Morneau does, I believe this world would be a LOT better off.
great read.
highly recommended.

Great inspirational book for an even better price. I only gave it four stars because I wish there had been more stories in it! But then it wouldn't have been such a nice size and price...
