I gave up on this read part way in. I was initially distracted by the constant shift from present to past tense but, as I read on, I was also annoyed by how stiff the writing was. Everything seemed very choppy and a little formal. The story began to bore me pretty quickly. I was hanging in there for the fated couple to meet and the romance to start but then they went right away to some of the unsexiest sex I've seen. I do not want to know that his equipment is so big that you can feel him in your stomach. Or that overfill floods out onto the bed making a mess. Ew. I had to question how it seemed that the humans weren't aware of their alien neighbors when only a fence separated the two populations. Did no one wonder what was behind those walls? No one ever got caught in a flyover? Glad this was a KU read for me.

Another sweet quick read by ALLY ENNE

For the moments when you are looking forward to a sweet and HEA this cute little alien mates will do the trick. Characters are heartwarming, charming and adorable even though they have to get used to each other and the difference between two species. It's a lovely way to spend some fun reading about these characters. So check out for yourself and enjoy.

I think that Alley Enne has got something great going with this series, and I really hope that she continues on with it as far as she can go!! I really like the story and the characters, and the "happily ever after"(with a hunky hot male even if he's an alien!!). I think that makes it all the more interesting and exciting!!
