Nice way of cheating readers....
Three part series book, where 1st part is free and then to read further you have to buy the other books...

I have never read this author before. She offered the first 2 chapters of this book for free.
I was intrigued to see where the story would go once her boss achieved his objectives. When the author finishes the book I would definitely read the whole story.

Unbelievable that anyone would actually pay to read this watery, washed out Harlequin abuse wannabe with it's over tones of contemporary trash, which were water colored on with too-thin paint.
This was like getting water with food coloring in it when you paid $5 for a mini glass of sweet peach tea- a shockingly offensive joke.
It was so lame and colorless. It felt as if the author wanted to write a book and so found the most used up clichés and re worded them in a manner which stands out mainly for the lack of lustre. This may possibly be the hugest literary fail I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot of those.
In ending, I would recommend this book for: Absolutely no one whatsoever.

I read the whole story including the other two parts. I think the plot is great but wanted it longer. SPOILER NOW....The hero is the boss of the heroine. He is desperately in love with her and she's not interested at all. She loves someone else so he sat her up for a charge of rubbery and bullied her into marrying him. He's afraid she will leave him and he treats her terribly (he had some childhood trauma and his actions with her is terribly unfair). In some scene he makes her eat dog food and drags her to police and threatens her of jail making her beg and cry to get her under control. Any way he tries to redeem himself and gain her love and trust but then as he was starting ti succeed in showing he can be a good husband all the manipulations and deceit is suddenly revealed. She hit him and tells him she's leaving and he's very heart broken. There's a HEA and the plot is good I just think it could have been longer.

I was intrigued by the plot concept, but regretted having read it. Thank goodness I got it free on my Nook. "Book One" was 16 pages long (or should I say short) with an offer at the end to purchase Book Two. (??) In the meantime I was trying to figure out if I'd missed something. The start of the book jumped right into the thick of things without giving the reader a chance to see or feel any development between the characters. The author states that the characters have known each other for two years, but from the get-go I did not feel any familiarity between them. Poorly written with missing or mispelled words here and there. Great concept, but (at least for "Book One") fell flat.

If you liked pagan lover , shattered dreams and run by Eve vaugn then this book is for you . Other than lost love by carol mortemer , I can't remember a book that got me that hooked from the beginning . But still I couldn't give it more stars because the hero was too much real bully for a romance . However , the three stars are for the reality that I couldn't turn away for one moment. I never read for this author before but I certainly will think of her when I'm in a mood of reading something intense without caring about courtesy and moral limits.

So-so-so bad!
It's a telling story not a showing story. The characters are cubical, in the sense that there's no emotional give. The girl secretary can't fathom that the ass-hat CEO could be interested in her, even though in this really short story, the clues are all over the place. She has resisted his overtures for a year but caves in such a pathetic way when he uses one more manipulative tactic. The author needs to make her characters smarter. I have no stomach for poorly written stories.
And to add insult to injury, this ridiculously short story is part 1 of a 3-part story. Authors such as this one abuse us readers by pulling us in with a free Book Funnel book, and then try to cheat us by overpricing the next 2 books that should have been 1 extremely short novella. Ms. Ban, I'm unsubscribing from your newsletter.

Not only was this “book” just a few pages long, but it also contained many grammar and spelling errors. Run-on sentences, bad capitalization, and horribly misused words are only a few examples of the errors found in this story.
I also hated the story itself. The heroine was a weepy pushover and the hero sexually harassed her.
I hate to leave negative reviews, especially for free books.

One Chapter book.
This is not even a novella. It literally consists of on chapter. The story needs major editing from an English speaking person because it seemed to be maybe a translated story or a story that's written by someone currently learning english. The concept is ok. Its not unique at all. There are too many books out there that are at least novella word count so I wouldn't reccomend this to anyone.

OKAY. So officially it is the WORST book i have ever read. The poetic license taken to depict one community is utterly deplorable. It's so far fetched that it is racially, culturally offensive to that community.
The author should do some fact search before writing false , lame stereotypes. It is a 'grammatical monstrosity' that never should've been published. Period.

Couldn't get into it. It's about Jinna who works as a PA for Demetrio. When she enters the office one day there is police all around. Demetrio accuses her of stealing her money. When she says she didn't he says he'll tell the police she did than makes her break off her wedding and work for him for a year.

A great beginning to a story, very interesting and makes you want to know what happens next. The hero uses his power and influence to manipulate and force the heroine into cancelling her wedding and staying with him. She begs and cries and you can feel the jealousy and anger of the hero.
