Oooohhhh... This was quite different than the other books by the author I've read, in that the characters were very sassy and snarky rather than being totally sweet as sin. But I still loved it! I had feared that I wouldn't like it as much based on some of the reviews I had read. But I really enjoyed this. I'm sooo gonna binge-read the author's books...:-P

THIS IS NOT A ROMANCE.

Is very difficult to be close to the main characters. They are HORRIBLE.
They told you a billion times that Gabriel has “attitude” but really you can´t be like that in a new job!! He´s a total arrogant and stupid! And the boss?? Accepting those manners only because the guy is HOT? So UNPROFESSIONAL.

I don't like any of them!!! Plus they don't have any chemistry and they spend the most of the book apart! I hate that on romance books!!!

The plot is SAD and a NONSENSE.

I enjoyed this little story. How one fuckedup, fame, money and career.
Even the start is a little off, the story processed in a smooth flow that is interesting at one point.
Nice for relax read.

Review:
“It was incredible how fast the chemistry could build between them. Seconds of being alone was all it took before they couldn’t tear their eyes off each other.”

4 exposed stars!! Another great book by Sierra!!

Briar is the CEO of one the most famous modeling agencies, Exposed. And while he has men falling at his feet, he doesn’t date models. He spots Gabriel, one day while Gabriel is interviewing for a job at the agency. Blair signs him on as a model and Gabriel is now living the life of luxury. And while he has the life he’s wanted, he’s dreaming of a life with Blair. The chemistry between these two is explosive, but both are too scared to get hurt and don’t want that mess… but how long can these two really resist each other??

Sierra Riley knows how to write a highly entertaining book! I swear everytime I read one, it’s my favorite and then I read then next and that one is my new favorite!! Her characters are exciting, sexy and fun and don’t get me started on the actual stories!!!

EXPOSED, by Sierra Riley
*** Welcome to the wacky, wild, world of male modeling ! ***
Exposed Modeling Agency was interviewing Gabriel for Executive Assistant to the gorgeous, powerful, CEO, Briar. Assisting turned into modeling and a big break. These characters are intense, deep, thought-filled men. They may be huge behind a desk or camera, but basically want the same thing, stability and love.

The London modeling trip is laced with descriptions, juicy cattiness, and anticipation. Of course an enemy of Briar's is trying to steal Gabriel away. Will he? From the runway to the bedroom, we get sexy, erotic scenes, touring, bonding, feelings growing, more photo shoots, rejection, and not enough communication between our main men. We do get a real sense of the backstage hoopla, along with drunken reverie. There is jealousy, backbiting, out of control parties and when the drugs were starting up, Gabriel drew the line. It's not for him. It takes some horrible low dealings with Briar's enemy to bring Gabriel down. Briar to the rescue in dramatic fashion !
This non-stop action tale is a stand alone story. It is flashy, gritty and exposing. ENJOY !!!

Wow, I began reading "Exposed" and immediately felt i have been thrown into a swimming pool in the middle of winter. As a reader, we all come complacent in our expectations of books to go down the path repeated before in previous books. Not with Exposed. Sierra Riley threw a curve ball; totally unexpected and at one point at the start of the book: ready to put it down as a "DNF". We have two MC's with both horrendous breakups in the past so that "dating" became a shiver of dread: Gabriel and Briar.
First of all: I dislike Gabriel right off the bat; 2nd, opening scene pretty much have the MC's both with in"instant lust". I thought who am i am reading? I had to look on my Kindle to make sure I was reading Exposed. I ended up reading it in one sitting. Sierra managed to overcome my dislike of Gabriel and Briar. Gabriel has had a major crush on his idol Briar when he was the upcoming "model" of the year. He managed by his acting skills to get a job where his idol worked and on the second day of employment was "picked" to be "the"model of the year. I liked reading about the industry--to parties, the drug use and the alcohol usage. Poor Gabriel appeared to be out of his element and he embraced the party scene whole hardily. Keep in mind reader: he was only 22 years old and appeared to have come out of an possible abuse relationship and had self esteem issues Heck, yes it went to his head. I would have like to have had more information on his past-more of his family life --possible in flashbacks-to find out why he had no parental support or love; what was his last job and how did he get away from Jordan--it briefly hit upon it but nothing was ever said by Sierra. It appears the two MC's are using each other for sex but not really. I warmed up to Briar at this point. They both appear to harbor feelings for one another but we get then we get the "lack of communication" and all the heartache and angst appears. I ended up enjoying the book. I wish the background of both was better fleshed out to get a more rounded view of their behaviors. I wished Briar would have opened up more and advised Gabriel not to fall into the path of partying: because having "done that" in the past; but this is the "lack of communication" between the two. However, it was a good solid read; very entertaining. I would recommend this to anyone wanting an entertaining read.

Ah, redemption. Ms. Riley has redeemed herself in my eyes. After several less than stellar works, Exposed, brings her back to Guardian’s level.

There’s still that dreaded prologue which gives away the mystery of the two men we are about to meet. Clicking past that, we first meet Gabriel Hunter, who with a turn and a twist, lands his most covets job, modeling for the top company, Exposed, run by former model Briar Fields. (Yes, the author went there...Hunter/Fields...but I’m just going to let it slide). Attraction hits hard and fast, and within days the two have had sex in a changing room. Briar’s sure he can f*ck the attitude out of Gabriel all while still maintaining his bachelor status. Unfortunately it’s Fashion Month, and that Gabriel’s flag has never flown higher. Both men encounter their exes who have conniving plans of their own.

There were several moments in the story that had me laughing at the fun banter and thoughts going through the minds of these men. The story had a nice equal mix of POVs throughout, including the very steamy sex scenes. I was particularly pleased with Briar’s POV sections, they just felt more visceral to me than Gabriel’s.

The exchanges of love were too rushed, I would have liked their relationship to actually get off the bed/floor/wall, before they committed, but whatever...it’s a romantic story. The epilogue was sweet, a nice sneak peak at where the men “might” be several months/years down the line.

Picture perfect romance!
Gabriel loves fashion and modeling and absolutely idolized CEO of Exposed (top modeling agency) Briar Fields. Broke with rent due, he applies for an administrative assistant position at Exposed (lying his butt off on his resume), however, when Briar sees him he is intrigued by his attitude and when a model walks out of a test shoot Briar has Gabriel fill in. After the shoot Gabriel and Briar find they have a wild chemistry they cannot ignore, and Gabriel finds himself thrown into the madness that is fashion week in London. Gabriel is a natural, taking over the runway in Paris and Milan as well; unfortunately, his attitude causes some trouble (not to mention his partying), and every encounter he can get with Briar it seems like just sex between them. Former lovers have burned both Briar and Gabriel, each is adamant not to get their heart involved, both failing miserably. Pressure and ex-lovers stir up trouble and Gabriel suddenly finds himself on a downward spiral with no work and no Briar, however his knight saves the day in the end. Lovely story with sweet, vulnerable characters!

Lovely story about two people basically from different worlds financially but truly made for each other. Gabriel needed a job. After his boyfriend stole his money and took off he needed to figure out how to pay his rent. Briar, CEO of Exposed, was looking for an executive assistant. Gabe took this opportunity and by embellishing on his resume was able to get hired. Then when a model walks out on a photo shoot, Briar gave Gabe an opportunity to be that model he saw in Gabe.

Gabe became the face of Exposed and of course he began to let all this fame go to his head. Having grown up with parents who deemed him a disappointment, he doesn't take it well when Briar tells him he's going to be ruin his career and basically does just that.

I'm not going to give all the juicy drama in between all of this but I will tell you that these two were hurt by their ex's who just so happens to be dating each other. Crazy right? I know but this story does have a happy ending. Please read. It's truly a beautiful story.

This is the first book from this author that I just did NOT click with. Honestly, I feel like I read a different book than the others who have already left a review, because right from the start, I disliked the characters - like, ALL of the characters.

Gabriel is just an ass, to everyone - the HR person, photographers, other models, and Briar. And it's not like a sexy and coy, hard to get type of attitude where he really has a heart of gold underneath once you get to know him, he was just rude, arrogant, and took everything for granted. I didn't see why Briar liked him, especially considering what Gabriel does...and I didn't see why Gabriel liked Briar, either, to be honest. And although Gabriel did go back and make amends with Briar, it was too late for me to buy into it.

If you want to try this author, I definitely recommend you read Guardian, which is my favorite from her to date.

I received a copy of this book for an honest review. Where to begin...Gabriel and Briar had me on the edge of my seat throughout the book. Gorgeous Gabriel interviews for an assistant position at a top modeling agency and ends up in a modeling career that takes off quickly. Along with an unsteady relationship with his boss, he soars in the industry until he sabotages himself with drinking, partying and a bad attitude. Briar his boss thinks he doesn't want a relationship but he can't stay away from Gabriel. The story takes you on a journey of the highs and lows of the two men and leads to them falling in love with each other. I really enjoyed their journey together. Although i did get a little annoyed with Gabriel's attitude, I understand where he is coming from after being hurt by his past. Two Thumbs Up for Sierra Riley!!!!!! Can't wait to see what she has in store for us next!!!!!

Good story about the male modeling field. It takes you back behind closed doors and see how these guys rise and fall from grace. That is what happened to Gabriel. He was on top than got full of himself and start to fall. Briar was the owner of the agency and fell in love with Gabe from the start but didn't want to start anything. He was already burned once by his ex. He couldn't stay away from Gabe and they fall in love. I think in the end they saved each other. these 2 had great chemistry and you could see the sparks fly. The love scenes where hot too. I enjoyed the prologue and where Gabe wound up was perfect fit for him. Received an arc from the author for an honest review. Reviewed for Alpha Book Club.

This is my favorite Sierra Riley book I've read so far. I couldn't connect with the characters in her last offering and I was worried that that's how it was going to be from then on. Thankfully, I was wrong. I did not like Gabriel that much to start with but he grew and changed so much through this book that I had a real soft spot for him by the end. Brian was more likable to start, though he had his moments of being unlikable also, and also grew into a better person. These two were good for each other and it showed. This book was a little more angsty than her usual fair but not too much and it was needed angst. I definitely recommend this.

I received an ARC for a fair review.

This was a really enjoyable book for a couple of reasons. Well, more than a couple but I'll just touch on two or so here.

Obviously I have a fondness for narcissistic characters. Since this book is about the modeling world, there are plenty of big egos walking the walk for me to admire. Secondly, the leading men had a nice Brian and Justin from QAF (Queer as Folk) vibe which made me all sorts of happy! Again, I show how much I enjoy self-centered guys who are clueless about what they really need/want until it/he shows up and rocks Mr. Look At Me soundly. The romance felt smooth and natural and the sex scenes were well done and spicy. Overall a good book that anyone who likes erotic M/M romance should enjoy!

Oh who do you choose as your favourite character in this one Gabriel with his laid back don't give a sh*t attitude or Briar the young hot CEO of a modelling agency..decisions decisions.

Both these men were electric in their thoughts and feelings from the get go and the tension staying throughout the book is pretty good which is what I like when it comes to any book genre but these two also burn between the sheets. When Gabriel falls off the wagon it's a pretty big, ugly fall and you're swept up in his sorrow and self pity but never fear there's a lovely HEA :)

He's Not All Of That

An ARC was given to me for an honest review. This is a fun interesting entertaining read about a top male gay modeling agency. He needed a job quick his rent is due and he is willing to tell lies to get it. At least he knows about the fashion business enough to possibly get by. When he finds out that he will be the assistant to the CEO, whom he has a hugh crush on, he decides to keep his bluff up. This story is about a young man with too much attitude that messes up his own chances. This is a very well written sexy read. Enjoy I did.

Something fresh and different since the setting of the book is the model business. :3
I liked Gabe's cocky attitude and Briars calm but also hot behaviour. :3
Both had their charm, the drama at the end was necessary and luckly well solved. :3
I liked the flow of the book, the sex scenes were steamy, hot and great. Besides this you got a good insight of a business you aren't familiar with - along with all the ups and downs.

5 out of 5 stars. :3

Apt title

Alt title for the grueling world of modeling. On the outside, looking at the photos of these beautiful people, it seems like an easy job. But this book shows the behind the scenes hard work and sacrifices everyone has to make in order to make it flawless. And, how easy it is to succumb to over indulgence and ego.

Sorry I never really felt vested in the two main characters. You know very little of their backstory. There is a brief explanation about Briar and his ex, and really nothing about Gabriel's (you learn more from the blurb than the storey). Sex was hot but that wasn't enough to make this a winner. Will move on to the next book as I usually like this authors work.

Apparently male models are just not for me, even when the sex is super hot.

Title: Exposed
Author: Sierra Riley
Genre: M/M Contemporary Romance

Main Characters :

Gabriel Hunter is like every other gay guy trying to break into the fashion industry in NYC - broke and trying to make rent. His boyfriend convinced him he could be a model, but then took his money and left. Now he is left desperate to take an exec assistant position at a modeling agency.

Briar Fields is a former model turned agency leader. His agency, Exposed, is one of the top male modeling agencies in the world. Despite his last rising star model using Briar’s emotions to get ahead and then leaving the agency, Briar still sees something in Gabriel, despite him only being there for interview as an assistant.

Plot/Conflict:

Despite both men having been used by others in the fashion industry, they feel drawn to each other as Gabe’s career launches and soars. But with such a quick launch, Gabe is unable to decide who to trust, if Briar is using his quick fame to further the agency before Gabe’s own career. Briar’s former protegee and lover is now is competitor, and even trying to poach Gabe. Lack of communication and trust create enough drama/tension to count for a plot here, I guess.

Loves:

The sex scenes were ridiculously hot and spontaneous.

Likes:

I actually did like Briar, that he understood the arrogance that was needed to be in the fashion industry, but was a truer person underneath that. He can across the way I WANTED Gabe to come across, like a real person rather than a model jerk

Peeves:

I hated the vanity and arrogance that can with Gabe’s character. On one hand he is trying to this whole fake-it-till-you-make-it attitude but even in his first photo shoot the whole arguing with photographer thing really got me, and putting down the interviewer and secretary when he first applies for the job…. He just came across as a jerk without really have the excuse of insecurity to back it up.

There wasn’t a ton of background on either Gabe or Briar, just a casual mentioned to past (besides their former lovers of course, that was a huge part of the story). It left me unable to emotionally connect to either character, even if I had liked Gabe.

Gabriel Hunter is in need of a job. So when he has a chance to interview with Exposed modeling agency he fakes it till he makes it and is hired. Briar Fields is CEO of Exposed. When he hears about Gabriel from HR he decides to check him out and sits in on his interview. Briar takes note of Gabriel's sassy attitude and model good looks. When a new model walks out on a shoot Gabriel is used as a shoe in. Which jump starts Gabriel's career. Unable to fight their attraction the two succumb to each other. But they've both been burn before by people they were romantically involved with. When trouble comes in the form of ex's, briar and Gabriel will have to fight to stay together or be torn apart.

Like the authors other stories there are a high level of angst. The characters aren't exactly secure in their bond which leads to misunderstanding, feelings of betrayal and hopefulness.

At the start I was very turned off by Gabriel strong sassy personality. I wasn't sure I would be able to finish the book because his attitude was vexing me. He started to grow on me as I read. The thing with Austin didn't really buy him any brownie points. I really wanted to shake him for being so foolish. By the very very end I had forgiven him.

Briar I was rooting for to go and get back on his feet relationships/love-wise. His behavior was easier to tolerate but his reaction to the jerk, Austin made him seem very vulnerable. I didn't enjoy seeing that struggle, it was in a way painful to see him in this state. I wanted to keep him confident and cool and unaffected. I'm happy he found some semblance of happy with Gabriel. Not to say Briar didn't have his moments with his revenge/hate for Austin

The story was promising and well paced, the grammar issues was a lot less. The details with modeling and the worries of models were compelling. The ending was sweet and it pretty touching to see how much change Gabriel went through.

I did like this book overall, but there were parts that seemed a bit over the top for me that made me want to read faster just to get to the next section. Briar and Gabriel had an instant connection, but neither moved toward anything other than a physical "quickie" type relationship. They didn't communicate, they didn't acknowledge their feelings, and Gabe doubted Briar's intentions so much that I felt like I had whiplash at times. It made sense for the character (he is a young guy and was just getting into the modeling business; Briar was the CEO and had a history of a relationship with a co-worker that went bad), but it was annoying to read at times. Briar definitely realized his feelings first, but he was afraid of pushing Gabe away if he followed them so he let Gabe do what he felt was best. It kept them away for a while, but when they finally got together, it was BAM--I love you. That felt rushed, even though it had been building. It didn't seem like they really even had time to get to know each other outside of the physical.

BUT, Briar was a sweetheart. I liked him immediately. He seemed bright and he knew what he was doing. I also loved the epilogue. I thought it was a great way to showcase Briar and Gabe down the road. This was a 3 1/4 to 3 1/2 star book for me.

Review:
From faking his way to becoming "Exposed" CEO Briar Fields' assistant, Gabriel Hunter finds himself by default, the company's number one model. All he wanted to do prevent becoming homeless after his ex used then dumped him.

Briar, former super model, walked away from it all to start his own business and have been succeeding ever since. When his lover turns against him, he cut all ties and promised to never date another model.

When they met, Gabriel and Briar had an instant attraction to each other and the steamy scenes between them were the highlight of the book.

Between exes who just wouldn't quit, underhandedness, jealousy and miscommunication, Exposed felt like an episode of Love and Hip Hop. Read if you enjoy watching drama, hot sexy people and getting even.

This one was ok for me. Not along the lines of Guardian or Takedown but ok. This author is a little inconsistent for me. Anyway right of the bat I will say that the premise centers around modeling so the vapid, egotistical stereotype is in full force in this book. Makes is really hard to give a shit about these two mc's. In the end it didn't really succeed for me. I didn't like either of them or any of the secondary characters for that matter either. The mc's barely spent enough time around each other to fall in love and the times they were together they jumped right in the sack. When shit fell apart which you could see coming a country mile away it was hard to care. 2.75 stars rounded up because the sex was decent and maybe if it was developed better this could have been a better book. Just my opinion. I see from some other reviews this really worked for some people. I couldn't get into, too much stupidity and arrogance masked as being affected by fame.

I really disliked Gabriel for the first 1/3 of this book, but got used to him as a typical bad boy model. Instead, Briar seemed more mature, and didn't demand a lot of him, merely pointed out his mistakes.

As the story went on, Gabriel made more mistakes, and his reputation suffered for it. He then switched to the agency of Briar's ex, and his own ex as well. Even then, Briar wanted a relationship with him, but by then Gabriel was feeling less confident about everything.

Happy ending, good comeuppance, and maturing on Gabriel's part. As far as Briar, he also made some mistakes, but not as bad, and he was there at the lowest point in Gabe's career and stepped in to save him.
