Cole and Sadie have great chemistry. Lies, Lies and more Lies...don't guys know that things are always bad when the woman finds out that you lied to her?
Cole is a published author of a comic book called HAMMER and when he finds out that Sadie is an editor he doesn't want her to know what he does so his friends Mike and Eve tell her that Cole's an Escort/Manservant and before he can think better of it he goes along with the lie. Sadie doesn't trust men or herself since her disastrous marriage to Jude, he cheated on her the whole time they were married and it changed her, she is no longer a risk taker like she was when she married Jude after only being with him for two months now she does things that are safe and easy like vacationing in the same place year after year. I loved how playful she had become when she was with Cole, she only put up her walls when she started thinking about him being an escort or about the fact that she didn't really know him. This was a fun sexy quick read, another great story by Tara Crescent

First book I have read by this author and I really liked her writing style. Likeable, light, fun romance. I would read more by this author. Most of book was 4 Stars for me, however, while the sex was consensual, it was a bit brutal for my taste. Final Rating: 3.5 Stars

I really enjoyed this quick read - I loved the characters. What hilarious friends, to tell someone your friend is interested in that you're an escort! After a few steamy scenes, this does have a HEA. I only wish that Cole had punched Jude though. :)
I haven't read many of Tara Crescent's books, but after this, I'll have to look for some more!

A very fast fun read.
Sadie, a book editor, with a dirt bag ex, has been off men since her divorce, not only off men, but in a rut.
Cole, has worked his way around the world, but a year ago he broke down and finally put his love of drawing and cartoons to paper and drew a best-seller comic book. Now he has more money than he ever thought he'd have at one time, but he also has writer's block.
When he meets his temporary next-door neighbor, Sadie, he is immediately taken with her. But, when he finds out she's in the publishing business, he wants his "business" kept secret. So, his friend being "helpful" says that Cole is an escort.
Sadie desiring to get on with her life, at least non-committal sex, "hires" Cole and has the best night of her life, and then runs. So, Cole doesn't know how to confess and Sadie cares, but is jealous of his clients. And Sadie presence in his life, has broken Cole's writer's block. Can Sadie and Cole break through the lies and misunderstandings and become a real couple.

Quick, cute,sexy read. Sadie was cheated on and lied to by her ex-husband and now she has major trust issues when it comes to men. Cole is a bestselling comic book author who is pretending to be an escort/manservant because he panicked when asked what he does for a living.He knew he should of told her the truth before it got out of hand but when she asked for his professional services how could he possibly turn her down. One lie led to another until he didn't know how to get himself out of the lies without losing the girl he was falling for.
Sadie was growing closer to Cole as the days were passing but knew it couldn't go anywhere due to his job as an escort. Then everything comes crashing down when they attend a party. Can she forgive him and her friends lies or will she walk away ?
I thought it was a little rushed at the end but overall a sweet quick read.
I'll give it 4 🌟🌟🌟🌟 overall

I enjoyed this conquest and yeah I'm using the word conquest because it fits for this book. The book however starts off a little bit off the wall then really goes full scream till you almost hit the end of the book.

Fast, fun read
This was a fast, fun read. I think it was the first contemporary story I read by this author. I didn't quite buy the premise that the hero's friends would blurt out that he was an escort, much less "manservant" and anyone would take them seriously, or that she would take it so well when she found out that everyone had been lying to her, even her friends. But it made for a fun little story set up and I enjoyed reading it.

This was just okay to me. I enjoyed the journey, but didn’t care for Sadie enough. Her thought process just didn’t make sense. I didn’t like the lying for so long, but I understand the author was using that to get to the climax. They only have sex twice, so don’t expect too much if that is what you are looking for.

Another very creative and funny story/novella by Tara. I've read most of her work on Amazon Unlimited and purchased a few series as well. Constructive feedback would be to vary the sex scenes more among her books. They're all very similar, to the point for me wanting to skip them. But that's not why I read rom-coms! I want good storytelling as well as steamy sex. Doesn't everybody!

Cute story. Less sexy times than Tara’s other ménage books, but still s few good ones. Sadie doesn’t trust men. Her ex cheated on her her whole marriage. She meets Cole, a cartoonist who doesn’t want to be recognized so he lies and says he’s an escort. She hires him and they have a fantastic night. They become friends and he eventually wins her over and they begin dating.

The spice and sexscenes are hot.
BUT the whole thing is waaay too easily resolved and anger forgotten. Missed some character depth at the end. Too much put into the build-up and not enough in the crescendo when everything came to a head.

An enjoyable quick read about a connection forged through miscommunication with good intentions. Interest is sparked on both sides, yet a need to not divulge certain information spirals the situation and misunderstanding ensues.
Reading the beginning and then the unraveling of the scenario is quite enjoyable.

Short but very entertaining. With no time to waste this story gets straight to the heart of it and never slows down. The characters are fun and I loved their first meeting. My first book from Tara and I liked her writing so it won't be the last.

It was an okay read. Cute and quick. I didn't feel the connection between the characters because it was so fast paced. Also the h was annoying with her constant reminder of H being an escort. Overall though fun little read.

I loved Cole and Sadie, 2 very different people with one thing in common, actually probably more than one, but their story was fun to read, humorous and sweet. I’ve fast become a big fan of Tara crescent, this is another fabulous story!

Great storyline, there are lots of quirky laughs and steamy scenes. The characters are lovable and well developed for such a short story. I can't wait to read more from this author. I received this book as a Free copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.

A Short, spicy, insta-love romance with trauma healing & in my opinion, golden-retriever escort 🤭🫶💚 absolutely loved Sadie & Cole's story! even tho he wasn't entirely truthful, it ended up being exactly what Sadie needed in order to get over her duschbag ex!
