It was fine. Nothing really stellar. I picked it up on a whim, trying to learn more about songwriting and my new obsession with electric guitar. There are some great tidbits and some thought-provoking comments. I'll probably wind up listening to it a couple more times before I'm done with it.

A decent primer. I probably should have aimed higher, as I was beyond it. It might be very good for people totally new at lyric writing.

Very basic, mostly common sense stuff. Had some good ideas on inspiration, but I didn't find a lot of the book useful.
