A very enjoyable double-bill, clearly focused on narratively depicting the mechanics of Games Workshop's model wargame 'Battlefleet Gothic' but also managing quite surprisingly to weave an interesting tale that reminded me quite pleasingly of the Aubrey and Maturin 'wet navy' series. The Eldar who appear in the second story are also very well depicted, feeling aloof and alien, which greatly increased my appreciation of what a writer with a good grasp on how they're trying to depict the Eldar can do.
