Stone
I was a lone wolf. I left my club to keep the heat off of them. I disappeared to save them and preserve the freedom I needed like air.
My freedom depended on the open road, on being away from civilized people, and on avoiding the law. But that was impossible now. Something has stepped in to pull me out of the ether and into the light. The moment I saw the sun reflected in her hair and her ass filling out those little white shorts I knew I was going to have her. My fate was connected with hers and so was my body and soul. To save her I may have to save a town and end my precious freedom.

Kara
He was nothing like any man I’d ever seen. I wanted Stone to touch me, take me, make me his.
Gold Cross was a mecca for bikers but they were posers. Stone was different. There was a danger about him that lurked beneath the surface. He was the real deal. He’d done and seen things that the posers of Bike Week pretended at. I had bigger problems than the way Stone made me feel. I was trapped in Gold Cross. Trapped by the past and trapped by a debt I struggled to pay. Stone made me forget it all with a look, with his strength, and with my fantasies of what it would be like to be his. Forgetting it all could get me in a lot of trouble. His kiss lighted me on fire. I knew I couldn’t get enough of Stone. I wanted to give him forever but I knew forever wasn’t mine to promise. My first love could be my last.

***This is a standalone, full-length romance novel involving the men of the Great Wolves M.C. Each book is interconnected and part of a series, but they can be read in any order and DO NOT contain cliffhangers. They DO contain dark themes and elements***

"She looked at it at a moment, her eyes lit up, and she wiped away her tears. Oh, did I want to go do that for her."

Well this plotline was different than the usual damsel in distress.
Or the villain plotline has got to do with pirates?
But I think the series as time goes by the romance gets faster and faster.

"My head hurt that he'd left. I told him to leave, but the idea that I didn't have a clue how to find him made my head hurt. That i'd probably never see him again made it all rad. And I hated it."

Stone Calder is a Great Wolf MC member that has to go on the run to protect the club. Stone doesn't want to go but doesn't have any choice in the matter either. Stone heads towards Gold Coast, Florida. Stone running low on cash needs to recharge as well as get his Harley fixed too. Stone approaches the bank only to see the most beautiful woman he's ever laid eyes on. Kara Ross is trying to keep her head above water. She's in debt up to her eyeballs and only needs a little time to make her dreams come true. Even if Kara has to put up with Kevin Potter. Kara is out of options and turns to Stone for help. Stone keeps witnessing shakedowns that bother him inspite of telling himself not to get involved. Whose responsible for the shakedowns? Can Kara come up with the money needed? Will Stone get involved? Your answers await you in Stone.

I'm really love this series! Stone is total badass alpha male with a deep passion. Kara is the kind of female character that I much admire when reading books. The story and characters were real, honest, compelling, raw, intriguing, and down to earth too. Definitely can't wait for the next book in this series.

A MC book where the characters refer to themselves as pirates. Wow.

This book was just bad. I don't think any of the books in this series have been particularly great but this was on its own level of awful. The plot is ridiculous. A small town is run by a rich banker who has his sights set on the heroine, a woman 15 years his junior, whom he molests in public at any opportunity. He employees a loan shark, who goes around to different businesses and beats up old people but gets away with it because he's the sheriff's son or something like that. Then comes our hero, an out-of-town biker who has the hots for the virgin heroine and offers up his boat so that she can find buried treasure on her private island that her dead father left to her.

And no, I am not making this up. This is seriously the plot of the book...

Wow... WTF...again with the poor grammar, typos and leaving words out. This author really needs to fire their proof reader.

The story line is a biker who works with a pirate to find buried treasure...really!

All her novellas really suck. She really must pay for good reviews cause they don't deserve a 1 star. I skimmed through most of the book to get some good reads in...geeze

In this series there are 3 charters to this MC...all the novellas focus on one specific charter...why did she bother sind she destroys all the novellas like this.

Great Wolves MC (7)

Sawyer sends Stone off to lay low after the cousin of a dead man started looking for someone to blame for the death. His destination was a small biker town. Sawyer arranged for money and a boat to be waiting along with contact to the local Great Wolves MC. He finds the town has problems and he finds Kara too..................

I loved the storyline, it was full of drama, suspense, and action and kept me glued to the pages. Stone and Kara are great characters. Stone is rough around the edges sexy and really sweet, practically a perfect guy. Kara is young but she's strong and fiery really lovely. The Great Wolves guys are awesome and it was nice to catch up with them.

Pirate plunder

Wow......Stone is on the run and ends up in a small town. This is a great town but like all others there is someone trying to muscle in. He ends up sticking around and gets more than he bargained for.

JAYNE BLUE!

Another amazing book by Jayne Blue for the Great Wolves MC series! Definitely a five 🌟read! Stone's story seemed a bit rushed and shorter than the previous stories. There were also a great many typos. Regardless, the story and the characters were terrific!

They say the memory is the first thing to go, which may be why I don't remember hearing much about Stone in the previous books of this series. But he is a member of the Great Wolves MC charter in Michigan, which is the focus location of most of the books in the series. Stone is a man on the run. Here's the first sentence of the story:
“When I killed it wasn't out of rage, it wasn't out of jealousy, and it wasn't out of a loss of control. I killed to wipe an evil motherf#*#er off the face of the earth and send the monster straight to hell.”
Now if that doesn't grab your attention from the get go, I don't know what will.
But in this particular case, Stone's target was related to a local politician. Never a good idea. So that's why he's on the move and staying off the grid.
Per the advice of Sawyer, the president of his charter, Stone is headed to a small tourist town in Florida called Gold Cross. It doesn't have that name because it's religious, but because there's quite of bit of pirate lore connected to the city. It's also a haven for bikers, so it's a good place for Stone to mix in.
On his first day in town, Stone meets a beautiful young woman named Kara Ross. She's so sweet and innocent, she's even a virgin. She's being worked over by the bank manager over some money she owes. Then Stone meets her in the bank vault with the security boxes. While he's retrieving some cash and the keys to a boat Sawyer left for him to use, she's retrieving an old and unusual map, marked with a gold cross. Yep, the kind of map pirates were known to have.
It turns out that Kara is the owner of a small island off of Gold Cross, known as Ross Island. But it was mortgaged to the hilt when her father left it to her, and now the bank is about to foreclose on it and take it away from her. In fact, many of the small businesses in town are also highly indebted and about to be closed down.
Kara is into protecting the wild birds in the area, and is always on the lookout for them. Of course, doing her part time job with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Department also gives her the cover to be out on her island, looking for buried pirate treasure. Her father had told her legends of the island's history...
This book is a crazy good mash up of the story of the lone outlaw biker and the lore of the pirate history and possible treasures buried and hidden for a long time. Treasures that could get Kara, her family, and other townsfolk out of trouble and free to run their businesses. It's unique to any other biker stories I've read with the way it combines the pirate and biker themes. And seriously, who doesn't want their own private island? What a fantasy!
This was a fun and exciting book to read, with a lot of twists and turns along the way. And it has a wonderful HEA story to go with it. Highly recommended!

I received this for a honest review. I am so loving this series. This makes the 3rd book I have read in this series and it has been so great. Do not worry if you have not read any books in this series for it works fine as a standalone.

Stone was part of the Great Wolves MC. He was on the run for murdering a very bad man that the public thinks was a good man. This had to be fate stepping in because on this journey he meets the woman of his dreams. He would of never crossed Kara Ross’ path if he would not of been on the run.

I guess you can say Kara should be thankful that she met Stone. Stone was this perfect bad boy. Handsome, rough around the edges, and believed in doing what was right. She saw pretty quickly that he was one that respected those that deserved his respect.

Kara was having issues with a banker by the name of Kevin Potter. Kevin was this sleaze ball that had not respect for others. Kevin wanted two things, he wanted Kara’s island and he wanted Kara. Kara hated that she had to play nice with Kevin. Kevin was always touching her inappropriate and trying to kiss her. This did not set well with Stone seeing a woman treated like such..

Kara has some serious trust issues. She wonders how much she can really trust Stone. This has to hurt Stone on some level but I love the respect he shown Kara. Things will get hot and heavy between Kara and Stone. Stone will learn how innocent Kara really is.

This small town needs a savior. They are being bullied by Kevin. There is some muscle going around slapping elderly around. Stone is not liking what he is seeing but he must keep a low profile. Will this town get the help they are needing?

The thing I love about biker books is the bikers look at their MC as family. They are brothers and will do whatever to protect their own. Not only that but they will also help the town they are in. They try to keep crime down to a level. You see how much the MC really took care of Stone in this book. This was truly an awesome story.

This book kind of takes a departure from the rest in the series. In this book Stone is on the run from his charter in Grand City due to taking out a pedophile. Noble for sure, but now the guy he killed has a cousin in politics looking to make a name for himself while solving his cousin's murder. That sends Stone south to Florida to lie low for a while until his prez Sawyer can handle the situation. Once he arrives he's not only taken in by the beauty of the area, but also by a beauty on a boat--Kara.

Kara and her family have a bit of a reputation in the sleepy little town of Gold Cross, FL. Her father was known for trying to discover buried treasure that his pirate ancestors supposedly left on an island he owns. He left the island and all the fascination to his daughter Kara after he passed away. Always intrigued, Kara loved listening to her father's pirate tales. But now that the bank is trying to foreclose on the island, she's under the gun to try and find the treasure to save the island, her brother's business, as well as her aunt & uncle's bar. Oh, and the whole town knows she's a 21 year-old virgin. No pressure right?

Loved the treasure hunting adventure that happens with Kara and Stone. The chemistry between the two is just what you would expect in a Jayne Blue story, but I really liked the departure from all the grisly stuff that the MC has had to deal with in the recent past. This story focuses more on what's going on with Kara and whether or not Stone is going to be able to stay with the woman he's drawn to, or if he has to continue on down the road and on the run. What starts off first as a conquest for Stone (the taking of the virgin) turns out to be something more, and neither one knows how to handle it. Lots of funny to go along with the heat!

Stone is devoted to his brothers in the MC. When he gets them unwanted attention, he hits the road. In a small Florida town, he meets Kara. She and her family are struggling financially and he decides to help them out. He is attracted to Kara and doesn't want to leave so fast. Kara is attracted but scared. She has focused on school and a man like Stone is new to her. His tough guy appearance doesn't stop her from trusting him. She just doesn't know how long it will last.

I love MC stories. Stone exemplifies that good in the clubs. There is a strong sense of family and belonging. It is hard for him to be separated but he wants to protect them. When she meets the young and innocent Kara, he is very attracted. He doesn't want her to get involved if it is not something she really wants.

Kara is not experienced but she is pretty independent. She has been working on her father's dream even without the support of her family. She believes in his dream and doesn't want it to end with his death. She has to tolerate a lot of garbage from the rich banker in town who wants her too. She plays him the best she can while hating to have to be anywhere near him. She is realistic about things but it doesn't stop her from having dreams.

It is well written and has a lot of great characters included in the story. I really enjoyed it. It is a standalone so you can jump right into the series.

I received a copy in return for a honest review.

I have read all of Ms. Blue's books and I love the Great Wolves MC books and I couldn't wait to read Stone's book. Ms. Blue is one of the few One-Click authors for me. Though this is a stand alone, I highly recommend reading all the books in order, in order to get a true feel for the characters and the back stories. I think it helps to have that knowledge so you are fully engaged with the characters and story lines. However, you can read this without the other books, I still recommend reading all her books.

This book is about Stone and Kara. It takes place after Sawyer and all that went down in the town. Stone had to make some tough decisions in that book and Stone is a great H. Stone was been thrown into a bad situation and now has to get out of town in order to protect his MC. During his road trip, he and Kara (h) crosses paths.

This story just went by way to fast for me... I always want a little more but this one was very quick. I wanted to dig into Kevin and Butchie a little more, and I wanted a little more on Stone and Kara. Kara is feisty and a good h, and Stone is just wonderful. The only thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is the ending, which was just a little to rushed for me. I would easily give this five stars if the epilogue gave me a little more HEA. I am big on my HEA's. I definitely recommend this book, as well as all of Ms. Blue's books!

Cute

This was a cute story and I enjoyed reading it but to date it is ,my least favorite book by the author. Not sure why but I had difficulty connecting with the characters and the plot. Hunting for buried pirate treasure just felt a little too implausible for me so it was hard for me to feel emotionally connected to the story.

I did like Stone and I liked the beginning of the story better, before it focused on Kara trying to see if there was buried treasure on an island she owned. I liked the characters who lived in the small tourist town and I liked the new Great Wolf MC who will get his own book next- Ryder (although I wish we could have seen more of him in this book).

I liked Kara too but couldn't connect with her as well, I think part of the problem for me to really see them as a couple was I thought Kara was too young for Stone and while they had great sex scenes, I just didn't feel there was a strong emotional connection between them. The book could have been edited better, I was surprised at the number of typos and grammatical errors in the book, something I did not see in other books by the author.

So, I liked the book but didn't feel very enthusiastic about it because I really love the author's work and have come to expect GREAT books from her. I am still a huge fan and eagerly await the next book.

I loved Torrid & signed up Jayne Blue’s website and I was lucky to receive *free ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*
I got straight into this book and couldn’t put it down. The book mentions Sawyer, Ryder & some other characters from previous books it also talks about the club going legit through the GW new businesses.

Stone Calder has to leave his Charter of the GW and hit the road to save himself from a murder charge. He hits the open road and ends up in the small town of Gold Cross where a lot of bikers hang out so he can go unnoticed. He sees things going on that are not right happening to good people. He especially see’s Kara the sweet and innocent small town girl he wants her from the moment he set eyes on her. She has no idea he’s part of an MC but she needs his help.

Kara Ross is a girl on a mission to find out if her father was right about the stories he told her. The town she lives in is under threat by the bank. She needs help fast and Stone is the one to offer that. She’s instantly attracted to him but she’s shy and still a virgin. Stone makes her feel things she’s never felt before.

Will there be a brighter future for the people of Gold Cross?
Will there a HEA for Stone & Kara?

Stone is now my new favourite Great Wolf.

Stone Calder is on the run, Sometimes doing the right thing gets you in trouble with the Law. His biker (Great Wolves) family have his back and have set him up with money and a boat to hideaway until the dust settles back home. The plan is to keep a low profile, stay out of trouble and avoid being noticed. Not easy to do for a hulk of a man covered in tattoo's.
That all changes the moment Stone rides into Gold Cross, it captures him. It would have been easy enough to stay hidden amongst the large bike festival that was going on. Until he sees the pretty little thing in the hot white shorts. At that point His life changes from being a lone wolf Biker to a Sea Captain willing to put blood, sweat & tears into proving Kara his Pirate Queen's theory, she believes the family island holds all the answers.

Another Great Wolf bad boy biker to the rescue. Stone Calder is running from Grand City, Michigan after their covert takedown of the Russian mob and a sex trafficking ring. Suspicions surround him and he runs to Florida. But in true Great Wolf fashion trouble finds Stone. Trouble of the female persuasion and trouble of a criminal element. Add in hot sex, sandy beaches and a very high end boat Jayne Blue blows this storyline out of the water! Oh did I mention a map and possible buried pirate treasure? Aargh matey!! Stone will have you shivering in your boots or hopefully out of them as helps beautiful Kara save her family's legacy.

Stone Falter is on the run to protect his MC, and he ends up in the small town of Gold Cross, Florida. He sees Kara Ross while in the bank being groped by the bank manager, and not enjoying experience. Stone knows he needs to move on as soon as his bike is repaired, but finds himself protecting Kara and her family from a corrupt banker. Kara doesn't know much about men, but she does know that she is drawn to Stone and wants to let him in her life. Wow, sizzling hot lead characters, corrupt banker, loan shark muscle man, endangered species, pirate treasure, and bad ass bikers. This book is fantastic, and I loved it!

Stone is on the run, leaving The Wolves Den MC he heads to Florida to lie low for a while, only to meet Kara an innocent twenty one year old trying to hang on to what is hers, only to become embroiled in this small towns woes. I absolutely loved the story line, it was exciting, sexy and mysterious. Stone and Kara were great characters full of depth and feeling. I felt some of the sex scenes were a little rushed but all in all I enjoyed it a lot and would highly recommend.

I have loved Jayne's books and in particular this series. Unfortunately this one just didn't do it and I was left quite out of sorts after having expectations from the previous books.

Jayne I'm not sure who your proofreader is, but I think you may need to look for another or a stern talking to with this one. There were too many places where words were missing, more words than necessary (almost like it hadn't been decided which context you were going with) and it simply made it hard for the story to flow.

Fingers crossed for the next!

He Will Do Anything For His Club

An ARC was given to me for an honest review. Stone is a man who does what's necessary to right a wrong. He is a man on the run until his club can take care of everything. Kara is a down to earth young woman with her head in the clouds like her daddy. This story has violence, intimidation, destruction along with a hot love story. Enjoy I did.
