I was hoping as the series went on from book 1 that it would become more in-depth. Instead it was rushed. Everything was Instant. Insta-love, insta-action, insta-problem solved, and insta-hea. No meat, no details, and no development. It was a very superficial read. I felt no connections to any of the couples in book 2 or 3. This plot had such potential and it just fell flat. It's a shame really.

The World: Earth 25 years after the Verona virus that nearly wiped out most of the human population. Shifters had come out of hiding to offer their blood as an antidote which brought the virus to an end though the world was told the shifters created the virus, not that they ended it. Shifters then ended up branded, collared and forced to live like animals in small compounds. Humans and the SAU (Shifter Accommodation Unit) have put the bears and cats in the wolves’ small compound, and they are running out of room.
BURIED
The Heroes: Gibson, Oliver - Gibson is the tattoo artist for the river pack of wolves and best friends with Cole, the jaguar shifter. He tattoos the pack tattoo on each member, he alo tattoos over the brand that is forced on them by the SAU and later when a mating occurs, he tattoos the mating tattoo. Oliver is a grizzly bear shifter and is the foreseer for the ursine pack. He sees glimpses of the future, though he can’t see the future of anyone close to him. He knows that the visions will kill him someday, though he can’t see his own future so he has no idea when that will be.
The heroine: Mandy - she is a wolf shifter and is one of the submissive wolves. She focuses mostly on helping the pack and healing and is not able to fight like the alphas and betas in the pack. She has had a crush on Gibson for quite some time and her wolf chose, but she never let it be known because she he rarely looks at her or shows any interest in her. When her wolf also wanted Oliver, she felt he was outside her reach as well. Everyone thought she was going to end up mated to her best friend Theo, who had always cared for her.
The Story: Gibson hated the scent of Oliver, the bear shifter, hated it and loved it. He couldn’t keep his focus when Oliver came into the room. He had to admit though there was another that affected him that way, but he thought Mandy was already taken. He knew he couldn’t be with her, or with Oliver, since he is the foreseer for his pack, and Gibson was just a lowly tattoo artist, and a wolf while Olive is a bear. Gibson thought he was completely forgettable.
One night, Gibson was hit in the head with something and knocked unconscious. His alpha was standing over him, telling him he was the pack’s Omega. The omega helped heal the pack from within and Gibson didn’t think he was the person for such a high position. His new position was hitting him hard, they also didn’t know who had attacked him.
This is such an intriguing setup—there’s so much layered tension and rich character dynamics! I love that Mandy, despite being a submissive wolf, is stepping up alongside Ariel to plan for the future, rather than just reacting to the present. It makes their leadership feel grounded in care rather than brute strength.
Gibson’s struggle with self-worth really stands out to me. There’s something compelling about a character who believes they’re forgettable yet ends up holding a vital role within the pack. His internal conflict with Oliver’s scent is a fascinating detail too—it hints at something deeper, something he’s trying to repress. The SAU branding and the tattoos feel like strong symbolic markers, representing oppression and identity. It’s powerful that Gibson is the one altering those marks, turning forced symbols into something meaningful for the pack.
I love the fact that Mandy and Ariel are planning what to do when the way they lived changed. They are making plans for those in their care. The pack isn’t just thinking about what needs to happen to bring the SAU down, and free themselves. They are thinking past the battle to what happens next. The emotional stakes are as high as the physical conflict. It’s not just about surviving the SAU—it’s about building something better after the dust settles.
SHADOWED
The Hero: Sinclair - He is a wolf shifter and is alpha of the unseen pack. The unseen are shifters who stayed hidden after all the other shifters were rounded up and put onto compounds where the SAU keeps them behind fences and guards them like they are animals. They have the ability to mask their sent and are able to appear to be human. Not that the other shifters can’t do that, but they have brands that give them away. He plans on taking down the SAU and his pack has been working toward that goal for years.
The heroine: Mira - she is a genius and tech nerd who works for the CDC and has been working with Sinclair to help find the proof in old CDC files that the shifters didn’t create the Verona virus and that they, instead came out of hiding to save all the humans since their blood was the cure, they were resistant to the virus. She knows that Sinclair had romanced her a bit and feigned interest in her to get her to help him, but she thinks that the truth should come out.
The Story: When Mira disappears, Sinclair has to find her and save her. He knows he has feelings for her that are deeper than he first suspected, and he worried about her even more after going to her house and smelling some of her blood. He knows she was abducted. His plans for outing the SAU to the world are still in process and everything is coming to a head.
This book had a great storyline; it was exciting and suspenseful and a great wrap up to the series. Though I wouldn’t mind a spinoff series of how the shifters deal with finally getting free of the SAU and the oppression. I liked the romance and the characters in this one, there is just enough steam in these books to not overpower the story. I enjoyed it quite a bit.
This audiobook was narrated from multiple perspectives, done in solo narration by Aiden Snow. I absolutely love Aiden’s voice, it is deep, but soft and I could listen to him all day. He is one of the few narrators that I don’t mind at all listening to as solo narration. He does a terrific job. He has a voice that could make reading a grocery list sound dramatic. His ability to carry multiple perspectives solo added a lot of depth to the experience.

What happens when an Omega, a submissive wolf and a bear, that also happens to be a foreseer, feel the urge to mate? Denial, that’s what!
Mandy cannot believe that she, a submissive wolf, feels the urge to mate not with one but two strong shifters. She knows it won’t be easy but nothing good ever is. Mandy may be the submissive one but when it becomes apparent that both Gibson and Oliver are struggling to approach each other, she doesn’t hesitate to take matters into her own hands.
Buried is the first story in the series that features a mating bond between 3 shifters and it was ridiculously awesome! Mandy, Gibson and Oliver had a lot of issues to deal with, especially considering that Gibson only recently discovered his Omega abilities, but one thing that was never in question was their love.
At the end of Buried we also get to see some important changes regarding the Shifter Accommodation Unit which are further explored in Shadowed.

This is Sinclair’s story! I repeat this is the story of the ALPHA of the Unseen pack.
Sinclair may be a free shifter but he can’t rest until the SAU is destroyed and all shifters roam free once again. He is really close to collecting all the evidence needed to prove that it wasn’t the shifters that caused the virus but it was man-made. Just before he acquires the last piece of the puzzle though, he realizes that Mira, the computer genius who helped him get his hands on the evidence, is missing.
Mira has known that Sinclair approached her because of the computer skills from the beginning but that didn’t stop her from falling for him. Now Sinclair has come to save her but something has changed and Mira isn’t sure whether or not she can still trust him.
Sinclair was such a sweet but at the same time strong alpha. He thought he was fooling Mira while in truth he was fooling himself. When he thought that something might have happened to Mira because of his mission, he was determined to leave everything behind hoping to find her.
The Branded packs have been found innocent and they are now (almost) free to live again. But can it really be so easy?

This was a great story and I really enjoyed it. This story is about a menage between a trio...Gibson (the tattooist for the wolves), Mandy (a submissive wolf) and Oliver (the foreseer of the Bears). They all have a mutual attraction but they have been separate up until now because of different reasons. In this story, they finally come together and I liked seeing them become mates. There is some addition drama/danger taking place as well....one part gets settled and the other is a progress with the SAU and their imprisonment (but things are still a bit iffy). I do wish it had been a bit longer because while Gibson, Mandy and Oliver are a trio of mates at the end, I would have liked to see how their particular situation (I can't say more without spoilers) plays out.

This was a great story and conclusion to the series. Mira and Sinclair made an unlikely but well matched pair that I really liked as characters and as a couple (once they worked everything out). While Mira and Sinclair are working through their relationship issues, they're on the run from the SAU and taking the last steps in bringing out the truth and getting the shifters freed. Things will still be difficult and there will be years of prejudice to get past but things look very hopeful in the end.
I really liked both stories in this book and loved how things finally turned out. I do wish maybe there was a spin-off series that tells how things go for the shifters once they're free and reintegrating into the world but I guess the open- endedness gives you room to dream. Overall, I really liked the series and would recommend it.

Typical paranormal romance
I’ve read all 3 in this series. If your looking for a quick read, these were good. They’re the type of books I like to read on my lunch hour. I have no problem putting them down and later picking up where I left off.

ARC REVIEW
A brilliant series by two fantastic storytellers. Buried and Shadowed continues the overall story of the Branded and Unseen shifters after the world epidemic forced to bring the shifters out of hiding and basically into reservation style internment camps. The SAU forcing the cats, the bears and the wolves to live together hoping that they will destroy each other. Instead they join forces to take down the SAU and reveal to the world the truth of the Verona Virus.
Buried is Carrie Ann Ryan's light menage, it's a menage but it doesn't go into graphic erotic detail between the three of them. (If you want that read Ink Enduring, damn!) Here we have the Ursine Packs Foreseer Oliver, the submissive wolf Mandy and, Gibson the tattoo artist who is on the verge of something massive. Carrie Ann Ryan is brilliant when it comes to building tension, both sexual and conflict. Her narration and dialogue together create a sense of foreboding that ties you up into the story. She emotionally pulls you in so you find yourself holding your breathe or crying out when something happens you totally were not expecting.
Oliver as the foreseer believes he will never be able to claim his mate; his visions take too much out of him, his visions are slowly killing him. Even knowing Gibson and Mandy are both potential mates he tries to keep clear of them. Gibson keeps to himself and because he feels sympathy for his Alpha who takes on the pain of his pack members when he is forced to brand them Gibson feels like he doing his part by tattooing them making the brand their own. As a submissive wolf Mandy never really though her role in the pack was very important, but her ability to soothe and calm comes in handy more than once and once Gibson comes to his true potential he will need her and Oliver more than he ever realized. But the SAU isn't the only threat to them as Oliver's visions lead him to believe something sinister is coming from inside their own walls.
Shadowed is Alexandra Ivy's, my favorite of her's so far. The Unseen are the shifters who managed to escape the round up and containment. Their goal has been to infiltrate and destroy the SAU fromt he inside and reveal all their dirty secrets and lies. Sinclair has managed to do so they are now just waiting on the final piece of the puzzle before they go public. The whole time Sinclair has worked with someone on the inside, someone with the ability to hack into the CDC computers and leak information to the Unseen about the true origins of the Verona Virus. Mira knows Sinclair has been using her from the start, she doesn't have a problem with it she believes in their cause and she is in love with Sinclair. But now so close to the end of it all Mira goes missing and Sinclair won't stop until he finds her. Mira has discovered for more than Sinclair hoped and together they can tear down the SAU and free all the Branded packs.
Overall, this is probably my favorite of the series so far. Shadowed is very intense. Buried is well damn.
A brilliant series by two fantastic storytellers. Buried and Shadowed continues the overall story of the Branded and Unseen shifters after the world epidemic forced to bring the shifters out of hiding and basically into reservation style internment camps. The SAU forcing the cats, the bears and the wolves to live together hoping that they will destroy each other. Instead they join forces to take down the SAU and reveal to the world the truth of the Verona Virus.
Buried is Carrie Ann Ryan's light menage, it's a menage but it doesn't go into graphic erotic detail between the three of them. (If you want that read Ink Enduring, damn!) Here we have the Ursine Packs Foreseer Oliver, the submissive wolf Mandy and, Gibson the tattoo artist who is on the verge of something massive. Carrie Ann Ryan is brilliant when it comes to building tension, both sexual and conflict. Her narration and dialogue together create a sense of foreboding that ties you up into the story. She emotionally pulls you in so you find yourself holding your breathe or crying out when something happens you totally were not expecting.
Oliver as the foreseer believes he will never be able to claim his mate; his visions take too much out of him, his visions are slowly killing him. Even knowing Gibson and Mandy are both potential mates he tries to keep clear of them. Gibson keeps to himself and because he feels sympathy for his Alpha who takes on the pain of his pack members when he is forced to brand them Gibson feels like he doing his part by tattooing them making the brand their own. As a submissive wolf Mandy never really though her role in the pack was very important, but her ability to soothe and calm comes in handy more than once and once Gibson comes to his true potential he will need her and Oliver more than he ever realized. But the SAU isn't the only threat to them as Oliver's visions lead him to believe something sinister is coming from inside their own walls.
Shadowed is Alexandra Ivy's, my favorite of her's so far. The Unseen are the shifters who managed to escape the round up and containment. Their goal has been to infiltrate and destroy the SAU fromt he inside and reveal all their dirty secrets and lies. Sinclair has managed to do so they are now just waiting on the final piece of the puzzle before they go public. The whole time Sinclair has worked with someone on the inside, someone with the ability to hack into the CDC computers and leak information to the Unseen about the true origins of the Verona Virus. Mira knows Sinclair has been using her from the start, she doesn't have a problem with it she believes in their cause and she is in love with Sinclair. But now so close to the end of it all Mira goes missing and Sinclair won't stop until he finds her. Mira has discovered for more than Sinclair hoped and together they can tear down the SAU and free all the Branded packs.
Overall, this is probably my favorite of the series so far. Shadowed is very intense. Buried is well damn.

Alexandra Ivy’s and Carrie Ann Ryan’s Buried and Shadowed were an amazing addition to the Branded Packs Series. Just when I think, the duo will never be able to top themselves, they prove me wrong. I love the originality of this series. In Buried, submissive wolf, Mandy Calhoun, Omega wolf Gibson Barton, and Ursine Foreseer Oliver Dare fight an unknown danger among the pack. In Shadowed, Sinclair, the Unseen Pack Alpha, is on a mission to rescue human, Mira Reese, who has been helping the shifters by gaining access to the CDC computer system. Both stories are full of excitement and conspiracy. This PNR is suitable for adult audiences.
The characters are well-developed. They grow throughout this story and have lots of dimensions. I like Gibson. He discovers that he is the pack Omega and has a lot to deal with. Mandy is a submissive wolf that does not understand her full values to others in the pack. I love that she is brave and takes charge. Meanwhile, Oliver’s visions are taking a toll on him. I have been waiting to read about Gibson and Oliver both for a long time. I knew they both would have a story I wanted to hear, I just didn't know it would be their story together with Mandy. The triad was a great story to read, Mandy is a great balance for both men who are such important parts of the pack and it was interesting to see how they all strengthen and support each other. I especially loved getting to see Mandy come into her own and show that she could be strong even if it wasn't a natural instinct for her.
When I first saw anything about this book I was very eager to see what would happen with Sinclair and Mira. I knew because of all that Mira was doing and risking that she would be fun to read about. I also felt like Sinclair had to have a reason why he made some of the choices he did. It was great to see him decide to open up to Mira and let her know his past, which in turn let us know what had happened to make Sinclair so eager for revenge. I understand Mira's doubts about Sinclair but I was frustrated at times with her under estimation of her own worth and skills. What's better than 1 hot shifter story??? How about 2 shifter stories!! As if a hot menage romance between 3 shifters isn't enough, we get a hot action packed second story as well. This duo more than exceeded my expectations. It will take you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and hotness. The suspense is also a great bonus factor. I highly recommend this amazing take of shifter goodness.

In this book you have three love interest which makes the story very interesting specially as Gibson is a seers and Oliver start to feel all the emotions of the pack and Mandy seem as submissive in the pack so the dynamics between the three are very different to the other books which I really enjoyed love the story continued and really enjoyed the series so far hope there’s more.

Sinclair is the unseen alpha and been secretly undercover in the SAU to try find evidence the it was man made and that SAU have been holding shifters against there will and torturing them.

I love how Sinclair acts around Mira. He’s struggled with his feelings but not been able to show her until she is kidnapped and he can’t deny his feelings.

2 books in 1. Same series, different authors. The author says this is the last book. That it was planned as a trilogy), but at the back it claims there will be more. Hmmmm.

Don’t expect to find a lot of series storyline movement until the very end. This is mostly relationship angst and some internal power struggles. I skipped through a lot of it.
Shadowed: Now that the shifters are ready to present their evidence to the world, SAU is getting nervous and fighting back with all they can. This puts Sinclair’s’ CDC contact Mira in danger and when he doesn’t hear from her for 2 weeks he goes to search for her and bring her back to the safety of the hidden camp.
Fave scenes: Buried: meeting the guards at the gate. Shadowed: distracting the dogs.

I really enjoyed this one! I was soo happy to get to see the our triad finally come together. They definitely had some things they needed to work through in order to make it work with everything going on and it was interesting with the twists they had to deal with. I loved Shadowed and getting to see Sterling get his mate. He has been working with her for years in order to get information from the CDC, trying to track down proof the shifters did not cause or create the Verona virus. It was a great conclusion to the story as we find out more of the truth and see the puzzle pieces come together for the reveal to free the shifters. I would love to see more in the series and see where things could/would go but this was a good ending for it if not.

Aiden narration brings the next installment of Branded Packs to life and he continues to have me hooked on this series.
Gibson and Oliver are critical to the survival of the shifters but are scared to admit their feelings for each other or their perfect submissive, Mandy. But the inner strength of this submissive is what they need to bring this triad together.
Sinclair is positively sinful when he finally acknowledges his feelings for Mira and his possessive, growly alpha comes out. Mira is brilliant and there is nothing she can’t do with a computer and the Internet. Including solving the mystery behind the virus and helping the shifters set the world straight.

3.5 stars. I really enjoyed both storis in this book. Most of my pleasure came from finally having a chance to see characters from the previous stories in this series get their (HEA) Happy Ever After. I couldn't give more stars to the book because both of these stories ended too abruptly. There was no easing into the HEA one minute you are in the middle of action and adventure and the next it's "The End." I feel let down as if I had to go to the bathroom and missed out on an important part of my the conclusion.

This is two stories that are different but yet involve the same problems and a few of the same people. The stories move along at a rapid pace and have action, suspense and lust. The characters make you feel for them and with them. I almost enjoyed the Shadowed story a bit more. Mira is a strong female to do what she does then Sinclair is a typical alpha male. There is also a secondary couple that is spicy as well.
I did listen to this on audio. Aiden Snow is the narrator and he did wonderful on both stories.

This last installment of this series was a pretty good read that I enjoyed from the start. In this installment, secrets are revealed and more bonds are formed as this series comes to an unfortunate end. The loose ends are resolved in what continues to be a hot yet action packed read that kept me hooked from the beginning. The narration from Aiden Snow was performed well making it an enjoyable listening experience as he did a great job bringing the story to life. Overall, this was a good read that I would recommend to others but am sorry to see end.

So at minimum one story arc ends. There are still a few more shifter characters that I would love to see get a story so I hope the series will continue.
These are fast paranormal stories that feel like fully developed novels. If you like shifter romance then you will enjoy these.

I love mate stories where the woman gets two males completely devoted to her. It amazing but this took a different turn that I’m not into. I’m not a fan of the guys being into each other sexually because that detracts from the female. With two straight males they are all about their female but with this, the affection and other stuff is separated three ways and not as cohesive and I didn’t expect this from this author. No thanks. Turn off for me.

When Sinclair found out that the beautiful and smart woman, who caught his attention for more than one reasons went missing. He had to put his mission aside for awhile and go save Mira.
Mira Reese, knew that Sinclair was using her to get information from the CDC, but she didn't mind. If it meant she got to spend some quality time with Sinclair, the man who has gotten under her skin.
When the CDC kidnapped her, she realized that the situation was more dangerous than she'd ever imagined. She used her captivity to her advantage and found a way to save the shifters especially the sexy, arrogant, ill tempered Alpha who had stolen her heart.
The Grand Reveal was well executed, the shifters got justice but like them, we know that the Packs are still in danger.
BURIED and SHADOWED (book 5 & 6) in Alexandra Ivy and Carrie Ann Ryan's BRANDED PACKS series was steamy, hot, sensual and oh so irresistible. It was great catching with old characters and meeting new ones.

The final book of the branded Pack series was amazing I enjoyed it these two authors wrote a excellent action packed and suspense paranormal romance that I will definitely revisit. Aiden Snow voice is just perfect so seductive and growly. defenitly recommend and totally worth it should be read in order to get the full picture of how the Branded Pack fought for their rights to be free

Fantastic Series
I loved the series and especially the ending of each book. Because of such wonderful reading, I am now a fan of shifter stories. The story was terrific and intriguing. The end of the series. Things are wrapped up, but left to where they could continue with separate story lines. Leaves some things to the imagination. I mean, if you can read and “believe” in a shifter story, the imagination is already there! It’s nice to escape reality and believe for a little while that shifters can exist.

Buried and Shadowed
I enjoyed the book... but it seems to be loosing it's impetus. Usually I devour both these lovely ladies books... I don't know...maybe I'm becoming too jaded. I do recommend the story it's well written, and the story line flows. I just wish it had "more".

Great stories
These are two talented authors. The stories are great. If you like shifters which I do you will love this book. It’s a continuation of the branded pack series. Strong hero’s with a strong heroine to match. Also a little ménage in the first story.

So good
Really enjoying this series by these two authors. Full of imagination and a story that just pulls you in. Characters were likeable and engaging and death was too quick for the baddies.

Great ending to these novellas
Sinc!air enemies are a force to be reckoned with. While this book seems to be the end, it is really just the beginning of many books by these authors in a world where shifters have to hide in plain site to be free.
Well worth my time and $$

Wonderful Series
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It wasn't your run of the mill shifter story that I've become accustomed to. Great job ladies!!
