I am an unapologetic romance lover. I read it. I write it. Enough said. Well..I also have a warrior way "Never give up on my dreams." I spend a copious amount of time drooling over Rick Grimes from Walking Dead, watching Japanese anime and playing video games with my love, Dusean.

Dear Readers,

Thank you for your amazing patience. I think of all the emails and messages you've sent me and I am awed. I'm pleased to say Eternal Damnation is now available! I do hope you enjoy Shilah and Lachlan's journey to Happy Ever After as much as I love writing it.

Love,
Stacy
***

Hey guys, I wanted to apologize for pushing back the release of ETERNAL DAMNATION which had been slotted to release July 5th. I spent the last few weeks trying to recover from a terrible bout of pneumonia that landed me in the hospital for several days.

While Lachlan and Shilah's book is completed, I was too ill to finish the edits that will make it shine even more. I wanted to put out the best possible book, so I had to cancel the pre-order and push the release date to the latter part of July/August

I am feeling much better now. Thank you to everyone who messaged and sent all the well wishes and encouragement. Special shout out to Naima Simone, Tamara Gill, and Nicki Davidson….you guys are so awesome. Thanks for all the love and support. <3 <3

Eternal Damnation will be live soon! I will update with specifics soon.
Love,
Stacy

What can I say? I saw an update that this book was live and I made the error and started reading at about midnight. I could not stop reading, it was that flipping great. This series gets better and better. This author has a way of writing dark, powerful, appealing heroes and Lachlan Ravenswood is a delightful force.

"His hair crackled around him as if alive, and he raised his head and inhaled. Then he smiled. The man before her was the darkest creature she’d ever seen— merciless, ruthless, and implacable. It struck her that he was also beautiful and wild, but so damn terrifying her heart nearly ripped from her chest." -(The Amagarians Book 3) (Kindle Locations 1075-1077). Stacy Reid. Kindle Edition.

“All the enemy needs to break me is to hurt you.” -(The Amagarians Book 3) (Kindle Locations 1532-1533). Stacy Reid. Kindle Edition.

“By the laws of the Darkage, you are forever mine, by the primal call of the beast I am eternally enslaved, and if I should will it, so are you.” -(The Amagarians Book 3) (Kindle Locations 2354-2355). Stacy Reid. Kindle Edition.

“I must see to your happiness always. I will destroy worlds for you, and lay kingdoms at your feet,” he said with merciless sincerity. “I need not understand the things you ask. Just know I will grant them.” - (The Amagarians Book 3) (Kindle Locations 1823-1825). Stacy Reid. Kindle Edition.

Those are just like a pittance of my fave moments! The books was full of action and some really hot moments with L and his mate. Man, overall I love this book and series and I am already desperate for the next one.

Worth the wait 😬

Aww this series blows my mind every time it's amazing 😇. it has everything you can ever want in a PNR. This book introduces us to princess shilah and her fight to regain her kingdom as well as coming to terms with being the mate to a really scary draken, lachlan.

I'm scared to write much lol more because I don't want to ruin a single thing for anyone 🙊.

The storyline was gripping and had a lot of powerful scenes i loved every single second of this book I just couldn't stop my self from devouring it as fast as I possibly could 😎.

Shilah and Lachlan story is beautifully told and though out. Oooh and how could I forget kala the sister of shilah she is such a lovely and sweet character I hope she gets her own story.

although I read it with kindle unlimited i will definitely be buying it to re read actually with that being said I might go re read the whole series now 😬.

This book is just as good if not better than all the books that have come before In this series so if you enjoyed book one and two you will love book 3.

Or . . .

If you are reading this and have no idea about book one and two 😲 then omg you have no idea what you missing especially if your an avid PNR reader. Read them asap 😎 coz they are mind blowingly good.

Right I'm off I hope my ramblings helped although I never spoke much about the story itself lol 🙊. you'll just need to find out for yourself 😈 mwhaha 😈 what all the hubbub is about.

Oh and at the end we get an authors note about future books to come I loved that little bit of thoughtfulness from the author 😍 while we wait for book 4.

READ THIS BOOK!!!!!!!! 😋

Eternal Damnation is book Three in The Amagarians Series. This is the story of Shilah Symonrah and Lachlan Ravenswood. This book can be a standalone book but I will say the other books where just as good...so you might not want to miss out of them.
Shilah and Lachlan where possibly my favorite paring in this series. Shilah of course was a strong women character that stood up for what she believed in. Lachlan was fighting a demon inside him. Both had fights of their own but they still came together through their love.
This has been such a great series! I am such a big fan of Ms. Reid and this just set firmly in my mind that she is a great writer. Hope to read more books by her soon!

I once had an exam which was postponed time and again... I was excited at first, glad I got some more time till the third postponement after which it was hard to maintain the same objectivity and it became some obligation I had to fulfill... annoyance was my chief emotion... sigh

When you postpone the release once or twice... I can still maintain enthusiasm and look forward to it... after which I stop caring.. Now I don't even care when or if it is released :(

Eternal Damnation is a tour de force – a really powerful paranormal romance from Stacy Reid. Her hero Lachlan is really not prepared for the possibility of acquiring a mate, especially not one who is racially different. Dangerous times, bloody battles and savage sex as they come to terms with their unusual relationship. Have loved the Amagarian series and look forward to the next.

Still the best!

So the Amagarians are still one of my top fav all time fantasy series. We saw a little bit more of this intriguing world with the Serangites having a more prominent role in this story. Still has kick ass heroines, the Darkans, which I love, action, betrayal, profound love, and intense sex. The underlying plot of several players in a bid for power is still on point, and I can't wait to see how it all unfolds. Eagerly awaiting the next story and so happy to hear much more to come.

Highly recommend!

OMG! just OMG! so i finished it this morning around 2am but i could only do a review right now because of all the homework i had accumulated since Sunday, when i start reading this book and i'll tell you, i didn't slept much those 2 nights ( 0hrs from night Sunday to Monday and only 6hrs from night Monday to today) and i feel it xD but i don't care!!! even if the homework that i now need to do and the one i had to oblige myself to do before coming on the website today well.... it was/is worth it....

So the book ! Good. Very good. Super good. ENORMOUS! I loved it!!!! The plot, the romance, the sex scenes, the angst, the dark emotions and the "light" one, and the secondary ( even the not previously secondary xD) characters just good! Totally amazing and it was powerful, dark, steamy, just good!
I just found it a bit weird sometime that Shilah always call him by his entire name (Lachlan Ranvenswood) even in intimate moment but as it's really into the story and her personality i just kind of dismiss the thought ( it is probably my inward foreigner culture that find it weird haha)

I have to say that when i read the author's note at the end of the book, i was even more happy ( didn't know it was possible haha) because, oh gods, I FELT IT!, i knew my intuition is good but i still sometime doubt myself haha, but when i read what Gabin says about the weakness of his enemy ( trying not to spoil xD) i was like mmmh mate? Is she going to be the one? And usually when i got those thoughts about random new characters in a book, it's at 90% sure that i'm going to see them again in an important role xD Kyaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa so exited !!!

I'm so excited about the next book story also ! I like the title Eternal Promise better ( the sound of it) if you want my opinion ^O^

Thank you so much for the book Stacy!! And don't mind the "fans" that were mean messages you or the community or just put 1 stars review without even reading the book because they think author are machines and don't have a life and the problems that often come with it . I don't think they should be called fans.

Thank you so much for writing for us Readers, Stacy Reid! Just thank you!

Wonderful addition to this darkly sensual and addictive series.

*************

I saw a twitter thread where several authors and reviewers were calling out reviewers on Goodread for 1 starring an author because the book was no released as yet. Here is the beginning of the thread'

"If you give an author a one-star because they were seriously ill and had to delay a release...that makes you a really shitty person.
Life happens to everyone. Deaths, divorces, illnesses, kids, dayjob etc etc. Sometimes the book release comes second. AS IT SHOULD."

The author was not named but then it came up again in a private group on FB that the author was Stacy Reid. This shocked me because this author is known to me and she has been ill, and hospitalized for several weeks. While she is in recovery I know she is not 100% as yet, but there are reviewers on here saying they are "fans" but upset the book is not out as yet. I will only say this once. Life happens and I am disappointed by "fans" reaction. I read the author's review where she said she will update on specifics of release. I have not seen an update. I even tried to check on Facebook and I saw nothing. My take away? There are no updates as yet, and I am glad she is focusing on her health so she can keep writing the books we love.

And that is my reason for the 5 star today. I have not read it as yet, and I will adjust my rating to reflect the story when I do.

Good. A little verbose tho

I read this straight to 95%. Then a ton of stuff fell on me and I was removed from this world for what felt like a month. Gosh I wished I finished it in on fell swoop so I could truly appreciate the story.

Now that we are in book 3, there is a pattern. I was worried these books were becoming formulaic which is a death sentence for PNR. Ultimately, there were nuances with Shilah and Lachlan that were not present in the couple’s before. She’s more than capable- she’s essentially a dark Phoenix waiting to happen! And gosh I really wanted it to but the finale fight was rushed.

Lachlan felt utterly intense but I felt like something was missing.

Have you read Archangel’s Storm? The fifth book in the Guild Hunter universe? The stories are worlds appppppart. But the archetypes of spy and princess were shared. I kinda juxtaposed them at times. Just to draw connections and gauge story differences. In the end, pleasant memories of Singh’s book bled into my enjoyment of this one.

——THIS SERIES IS AS GOOD AS ANY SJM SERIES.

SYNOPSIS :

Lachlan Ravenswood, a brooding assassin, crosses paths with Shilah Symonrah, a badass telepath on a mission against a tyrant. Sparks fly, but things get messy when Lachlan's inner demon wakes up. Shilah discovers a prophecy of her becoming a dark queen, and that their steamy love could wreck everything.

CHARACTERS :

Lachlan Ravenswood is my kind of guy, a powerful darkling with an endless fiery rage and a loose beast within that could consume the world. But gladly he’s found his woman, his anchor, the one who tames his wildness and makes him do crazy things like showing mercy, despite him not knowing the first thing about it. However he's not just a badass, he's also has a sense of duty and honour, considering how he never forgot his duty as a duke and remained loyal to his king. Tbh I did not expect this book to introduce such an incredible character but now Lachlan has stolen my heart and become my favorite, leaving Drac and Ajali in the dust.

Coming to Shilah, this woman was a blast! I mean, seriously, she was such a cool character. One thing I really dug about her was how she was all about doing the right thing, no matter what. She had this strong sense of responsibility that just shone through till the very end. But the thing that amazed me most about her was her powers being an imperial telepath. Other than this her relationship with her sister was just wholesome, they were like two peas in a pod, always looking out for each other. Shilah also has some crazy guts, as she constantly stood up against the tyrant king. Another thing I loved about her was that she knew she her duty as the princess of Dyxriah, and she never let her emotions cloud her judgment, even when it came to Lalchan the male she had the hots for.

ROMANCE :

Okay, hear me out, I'm not usually into the whole fated mates thing, but Lalchan and Shilah's romance? It hit me right in the feels, man. It was legit genuine and heartfelt. They started of on opposing sides but joined forces to fight against the true evil, whilst discovering the true depth of their attraction. And the attraction between them? It was intense. It was like fireworks exploding, sparks flying, all that jazz. They understood each other on a whole 'nother level, and it was beautiful to see especially when they went all in, surrendering themselves to each other, heart and soul.

Lalchan is THE man, respecting his woman’s wishes, even when everything inside him was screaming to go against them? That takes some serious self-control, I gotta give him props for that. Whereas Shilah showed some real integrity, She had this moral compass that never wavered, even when she wanted things that went against her duty as a princess. It's not easy to resist those temptations, but she stayed true to her people.

But what I loved most about their romance was how she thought Lalchan things like mercy but in the end, Shilah ended up learning something from him. He showed her that sometimes, to fight a monster, you gotta become one yourself. It's like they were meant for each other, you know? They brought out the best in each other, and I loved witnessing every moment of it. They literally learned and grew together!

🌶️ : 3/5

REVIEW :

5 stars —— Oh my gosh, Lalchan and Shilah, they're just everything! I seriously can't get enough of them. The way they both stayed true to their duties and respected each other's wishes? Was like a dream come true. And the best part is, they learned and grew together. It's like they were made for each other. The side characters also added something special to the mix. And the plotline? It keeps blowing my mind. We’re introduced to the world of Dyxriah, where Shilah comes from, it's a whole new experience. I loved diving into that world, exploring its depths. And at the same time, we got to revisit the Darkage. It was like getting the best of both worlds. Oh, and the magic system! Shilah being an imperial telepath? That's some next-level stuff, and it's so darn fun to witness. Even the ending was wrapped up so beautifully as there was this whole prophecy thing going on and the way those prophecies unfolded at last, was just perfect.

If you can’t tell, this story has got me hooked, line, and sinker. I can't wait to see what other incredible adventures await in this awesome universe.

RECOMMENDATION :

👍

The setup: When Princess Shilah is forced to flee her kingdom, she seeks the aid of the Emperor of Mevia. Unfortunately, the Emperor of Mevia is a cruel ruler seeking more power and isn’t willing to let Shilah go when he finds out she has mental abilities that allow her to separate the Darkans from their beasts, thus allowing the emperor to control them. Lachlan Ravenswood has a mission to release certain prisoners in the emperor’s dungeon, but when he finds out about Princess Shilah’s abilities, he knows he has to kill her to protect his people, even if he’s reluctantly drawn to her.

Lachlan and Shilah are well-balanced characters with an interesting dynamic. Lachlan can, even for a Darkan, be pretty coldhearted, and Shilah believes firmly in mercy and forgiveness. While they clash at first, they eventually draw on each other’s strengths—throughout the story Lachlan learns to be more merciful and Shilah learns to be more unyielding. I would say this is the darkest of the series—Lachlan fully intends to kill Shilah at the beginning, and the political intrigues in the kingdoms lead up to an intense, brutal finale. Amidst all of this, Reid infuses Shilah and Lachlan’s interactions with passionate chemistry. Overall, another great addition to the series.

Heroine unlikable, silly, and overly naive and ignorant

Ugh, ok first id like to say that I really liked the books storyline and loved Lachlan character so freaking much. He was everything you wanted in that dark and untamed wilderness of a man, my real downfall was our heroine. Naive doesn't even cover it, also ignorant and foolish beyond belief. She goes on and on about showing mercy it's like a broken record, she wants mercy for everyone, even those who seek to kill her, I was just so over her. Oh and I loved how she found Lachlan so savage and constantly judged him, she was so ready to pull his life from him because of being ignorant to what he was, but found mercy with others like her. Really P***** me off. She seemed to only care for him when he did what she liked, she had her own agenda the whole time and honestly I felt bad for Lachlan having being stuck with such a selfish mate. This book is getting 3 stars from me because I hated shilah and found myself wanting to stop reading this book altogether and also wanting to throw my kindle at the wall. It took a lot for me to finish this book and also put me in a bad mood.

I have to confess to preferring Stacy Reid’s historical romances over her paranormal series.

While certainly not a bad series, it doesn’t capture the depth of emotion some of her other books have.

All three books in the series have had awkward pacing and flow, especially with regards to the romance and the last 20% of the books.

The second was my favorite, but I really disliked both the heroines from the first and this novel. I kept on thinking “you dumb b*tch” almost every time Shilah was too weak to make tough decisions. Mercy and compassion are great traits, but there’s also a thing called context.

Also, can Shilah please stop using Lachan’s full name every damn time? I think she said it over a hundred times, but I’d need to do a search in my kindle to get an exact count. It was beyond irritating.

This book needed better editing. There were randomly capitalized words, almost no commas of direct address, and the occasional switch up with verb tenses and subject-verb agreement.

Despite all of what I’ve said above, will I still read Gideon’s book if it ever comes out? Yes, probably.

I love an intense, dominate, tortured hero and boy did this book deliver one in Lachlan. I adored his character and his story but Shilah was often annoying and frustrating. Now don't get me wrong there is really no way for you not to swoon over their romance. I mean, a hot, dark alpha male that loves you to no end, is willing to do anything to make you happy and believes that it is his main purpose in life to lay the world at your feet?....um yeah, swoon! Shilah though for the most part of the book truly did not appreciate Lachlan and seriously took him for granted. She did grow on me but even by the end I could never let go that Lachlan deserved better. Still this PNR was a excellent read. Filled with drama, danger, hot passion and sweet love, this book is entertaining and enjoyable and I look forward to future books in this series. This is my totally honest and completely voluntary review.

I LOVED the first two books massive 5 stars for me... this one was a bit of a let down to be honest...

Lachlan was brilliantly meshed out, i loved the descriptions of how he was letting himself feel and love in a void of emptiness he had before Shilah, and i loved how he would do anything for her.

Shilah on the other hand no so much, by the end of the book i felt Lachlan was more of a last resort than a choice, Shilah did not seem as enraptured or in need of him as he was for her, making her cold and for me unlikable.

The plot was O.K i suppose, not much to it, it felt like the breath before the plunge hopefully next book is unmissable.

Book 2 had me enraptured, book 1 was nearly as brilliant, but this fell so far from the apple tree i was disappointed, Maybe if i hadn't had such high expectations from the last two books, it would have scored higher but im not sure.

Love this series! I wouldn't say this book was my favorite of the series, but it was a very good addition. Both the hero and heroine were strong characters and the overall story moved the series along nicely. I do feel like this installment relied a little too much on the "mate bond" to build the romance, but I did like that both the hero and heroine had good personal development within the relationship. I like that Stacy Reid write such strong characters with personality and values that aren't swept away by the romance to the point that they make stupid decisions. I also really appreciated a non-virgin heroine for once!

Amazing series

I just found this series a Saturday and finished books 1-3 by Monday. I really wanted to read a series that took me to a different world. I really love how each book connects with each other, and even though it’s a love story, it still has all the excitement with action and fantasy. I really can’t wait for more books in this series to wrap up the mysteries laid out in the first three books, (I really hope we get Gidon’s book).
