This is one of those excruciating books for adults that children of the right age are liable to love reading and reciting to you. No doubt you will have heard them all before, and after the first hundred they become much the same. However a child comes to these afresh - unfortunately.

It also encouraged my children to read, which made the pain worth putting up with.
